We were left without hot water for 5+ months. We were hit with a £900 waterbill after no clarity on whether we were liable for this. We were given our eviction notice at 11:30pm the night before we were due to renew. When it was time for viewings, times were not confirmed so we had random people turning up to our door. Our deposit took 6+ weeks to be returned in which Links took £1000+ Unprofessional, unethical, shifty, no respect, and god-awful customer service. Please do yourselves a favour and stay well away from this tragedy of a company.... Read more

Before you sign a tenancy agreement with Links, ask them to send you the contract so you can review it. If they decline and insist you can only read it in their office, ask yourself, what could possibly go wrong?... Read more

George is a known crook, this agency is a sham. He turned us out on the street with a newborn baby the day we were supposed to move into a property and sign contracts as he got a better £ offer elsewhere. Didn't tell us, just strung us along and gave us bizarre and conflicting excuses. One day he'll get what's coming to him. Avoid this agency!... Read more

Horrible experience!!! We had a year long lease with links which started fine. However once there was problem they were not easily resolved as Patricia only gets back to you whenever they want something.Example,we had a faulty freezer which was tripping the main electricity,it took months for them to resolve and replace the freezer,meaning we had no freezer. The workman had to remove the oven to replace the freezer,when they put the oven back in they damaged the oven door,which in turn they denied doing thus Patricia saying 'the landlord will not cover this',creating stress on our behalf.I managed to fix on my own just to avoid more people coming in and out whilst we were in full lockdown.There were many other things that were in turn just easier to deal with ourselves,as it was pointless talking to Links. The worst part came when moving out which was a huge headache,having at least 20+ viewings in a few weeks sometimes with only hours notice (whilst my girlfriend was working from home). Even worse though was trying to secure our bond back. We dealt with George mostly who comes across as on your side but dont be fooled. The tenancy report was done by different company as who checked us in.Links did not give the old report to the new company thus making it look like all the faults with the house were new, and caused by us! I had to explain to George at least 3 times over the phone that this was the case and even had to resend the check in report they had sent to me just to clarify it! After chasing our bond practically everyday for a month they finally got back to us and said they're going to keep £800,for which was for a missing plughole in the bathroom 'a scratch on one of the blinds (not us) and general wear and tear (which we should'nt be charged for anyway) and labour for the works.However as I work in the trade (which I let George know) this was ridiculously overpriced thus leading to him 'ring the landlord' and getting the price down too £600 then £400 but we would not budge as it was ridiculous and threatened legal action. In the end we just wanted it over with so we let them keep £200 just to get it over and done with. Seems to me that they were just trying to pocket a little extra money for themselves,which is absolutely disgraceful in general but also considering the year we've all had!! Would definitely not recommend Links to anyone ever.... Read more

I’m not one to write reviews. Only in exceptional cases, and this happens to be one. I could not recommend links as an agency enough, especially Patrycja who goes above and beyond what’s required of her. They’ve supported me in every way possible from start to finish. Responded to queries almost instantly and I’ve never had to chase to get something done/looked at. Deciding also to move out earlier than anticipated, Links bent over backwards to ensure the best possible outcome was achieved for myself and the new tenant, regardless of the extra work that had to be undertaken by them. Patrycja was incredible in her work and supporting me with any issues that arose, this kind of service in comparison to so many other agencies I’ve been with is just amazing.... Read more

KNOWN CROOKS! Awful letting agents. George Agyekum who is the director and sales/letting agent hid the fact he was also the landlord of the property I moved into. He gets Patrycja Cardona to do all the admin/emails so there is no paper trail and would only talk to me in person or on the phone. The issue with Links and George in particular was the day after I moved in, scaffolding on all sides of my flat was put up, blocking all windows, and I discovered builders would be there 8-6 Monday to Saturday, for 9 months building new flats on top of my roof. The plans had been in motion for 7 years and at no point was I told. He totally missold me the contract and behaved disgracefully when I wanted to leave. Trading Standards are investigating this agency, and George is still holding my £1800 which he didn’t put in a deposit protection scheme, only insured it under one, which is massively underhand, and continues to ignore my solicitor and the Local Ward Cllr for Crouch End. AVOID THIS AGENCY.... Read more

We appointed Links for selling our flat and help us on our journey to get our first house. It was mainly George who was managing the whole process, and whom is an exceptional estate agent may I add, very knowledgeable about the market and a great agent at hand. Always attentive to our needs and requirements. The process was a long one, but George was patient and 'on the ball' from start to finish. He actually went above and beyond, when he it wasn't in his remit to do so. I chose Links for my sale because they really impressed me with their market knowledge, work ethic and interpersonal skills. The whole process was stress free and I was given great advice that made me confident in my desicion making throughout the process. They also gave me lots of advice that helped me massively with my related purchase. The bottom line is that they supplied me with several eligible potential buyers and achieved me a sale price significantly above the asking price. I whole heartedly recommend Links. Awful customer service, poor communication, slow and unhelpful staff. Old staff Daniel Cohen was great shame he has left. I would not recommend using this company any longer since the staff have changed. Daniel did a sterling job for us selling our house. The process was protracted due to the market drying up when the election was called not long after we listed the house. Then when we finally had an offer the poor buyers had problems with their own sale but he was supportive to us throughout. As many have said we found it a stress free and simple experience which is unusual when selling your home. Daniel and Links actually sold us the house in the first place and it was this experience that lead us to decide to market the house with Links as he is one of the only agents we have come across who acts with real integrity. Please do not use Links Homes. Absolutely dreadful agency with obscenely high fees ( I could have had another months rent with their fees) and who charge hidden fees through writing 'rough' charges for cleaning and checkout on their contract. Incredibly rude staff, who ignore emails. They try to deduct huge amounts from your deposit. E.g when we moved in the curtains in one bedroom were down. So my housemate unhung them to make sure the property was the same as when he moved in. For this they charged him £20. We are three young professionals with very limited funds and one of us has had severe health problems recently. Needlessly deducting roughly half our deposit has seriously impacted on the well-being of my other two housemates and myself, not least the housemate who has had to take time off work through serious illness (which links homes know about). We found this company incredibly expensive, very unhelpful and unsympathetic. There is no kindness here. I promise if you want to spend over 300 on agency fees you can do better.... Read more

I feel a recommendation for Links Homes is well deserved as they have been the most professional Lettings Agency that I have rented property via during 10 years of renting in London. The team are professional and efficient - understanding and working around the working schedules and pressures of executives. The viewing, referencing, check-in, checkout and stay during the tenancy was trouble free. Fees were reasonable, documentation was well written and provided in a timely fashion. The only issue I had was with an external repair contractor fixing the heating, but when I raised my concerns at the delay with the work with Links and they stepped up and worked with myself and the contractor responsible in order to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, which was appreciated. I have been happy with the service I have received from all the team and will be happy to rent Links Homes again in the future. Thanks again, Mr Manders.... Read more

As first-time renters we've had a nice experience with Links. In the process we have been helped by George and Patrycja. On viewing the apartment we mentioned a couple of less positive reviews we've seen, and we were provided with examples and explanation of how the situation unfolded in those cases: they were then very open and transparent about what you should and should not do, providing us with very useful information. We were kindly granted an appointment after office hours for signing the contract, and in spite of the late time they were very patient considering how long it normally takes to check a contract line by line. They provided answers to all our queries. Before and after the move we have been helped in a resourceful and responsive way in the necessary communication with the landlord. What we appreciated the most is transparency and their being clear about dos and don'ts from the very beginning. This might sound discouraging to some, but should really be appreciated: these "terms" are very much applicable to all tenancies/estate agents, but they clearly tell you beforehand and in a helpful way to spare you future trouble: I am not sure all other agents do so.
