Unbelievably unprofessional and awful - avoid. I am currently trying to rid ourselves of them. They have had our prime property for 1 year and 7 months with no actual offers. The property photographs are far from anything a professional or anyone that cared would take - I have asked for new photos but they gave not been forthcoming. I can only presume these people are somehow involved in criminal devaluation and will be seeking further advice. Avoid.

Avoid wherever possible. Dreadful agency. Relocated 2023 & needed rental property to settle. Agents acted on behalf of Landlady were bad from the start. Reported poor water pressure & lack of hot water in Kitchen & Bathroom within 1st month of rental & it was never resolved the day I moved out.
Failed to mention that the building had a theft problem (Amazon deliveries etc), despite notices being on the entrance board - amongst other things.
Once I'd found & purchased a place of my own, offered no support despite allegedly being my contact with the owner. When I left, place was in better condition than when I arrived, however, as I had cleaned it & not a professional, this meant I was in breach of contract and was charged £250 - which fair enough, I should have read & accepted.
However, Landlady then claimed a further £150 for 'something or other'. Despite me sending photographic evidence, agency advised they were no longer involved & it was with Deposit Recovery.
As I could no longer be bothered to dispute (which I'm fortunate to be in that position as not all would be) I accepted 50% of my deposit return.
As a last resort, after accepting, I wrote x1 final Email to the agency (as previously mentioned, I never knew the Landlady), that they contact the owner, advise that despite acceptance, I still disputed 100% & would she consider donating that final amount to a Charity - RSPCC/RSPCA etc....unsurprisingly, I have not even received any comment or reply from the agency.
This about sums up their approach & as you may guess, they will never be selling the new property that I own!!!

I rented a flat in Bournemouth for 7 1/2 happy years and then these despicable people became involved.
This is what they call customer service:
50% of lights went out in property - 3 1/2 Months to get these fixed
Fault on a GAS Boiler - Sent a link to You Tube and said here's how you can fix it. when challenged their response was " Landlords prefer that Tenants resolve their own maintenance issues "
Demanded entry on a day that suited their schedule, when advised that tenant would not be available and offered alternative dates so that premises could remain secure and tenants property could remain secure they advised they were going to access on the day they wished access and that the tenants wishes did not matter.
Taps dripping in bathroom, reported November 2023 when reminder was sent in MARCH 2024 they issued a section 21 notice
Almost 3 weeks after vacating property deposit has not been returned and they are ignoring all emails possibly because they want to try to make up stories so that they can steal the deposit.
I would give MINUS 100 Stars if I could . These people are vile and are the worst people I have ever had the displeasure of having to suffer.
AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS IF YOU WANT A COMFORTABLE LIFE IN A WELL MAINTAINED PROPERTY WHERE YOU CAN RELY ON A PROMPT RESPONCE TO ANY ISSUES, RELY ON PROPERTY BEING SECURE AND RELY ON YOUR PRIVACY

If I could give them 0 stars I would. the worst estate agent I have ever been with. They’re very keen and happy to help to get you into the property and take your money but once you’re in they are useless.
Never respond to emails. Mis sold and mislead into a renewal of the tenancy and then when trying to leave they made it impossible and it took threatening to go to the council before getting a response. Was belittled by the staff about the agreement and it’s wording.
W had paid our months rent until the 13th for our tenancy but were told we had to hand the keys back 6 days earlier for them to do their inspection and they will not refund us for those days we were unable to access the flat. We are now left in the dark regarding when we will get our deposit back. We have called and emailed and get no response to emails so have no idea where our money is. They have a new tenant in there already and I feel sorry for them.
I would not recommend ever renting a property off this company. I have never had so much stress before. disgusting.

If it was possible to leave zero stars I would. Avoid dealing with them at all costs, or it could cost you dearly. Great when agreeing a let but shameful when you leave. Tried to withhold a deposit for spurious reasons and notified me 7 weeks after vacating a property. Anything could have happened during that time. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

David just very kindly argued today that he did not feel like wasting his time on a viewing he agreed beforehand while I was waiting in the rain. Sorry, I have ever dared to take up your time.

If I could give 0 stars I would. As soon as I started complaining about the issues in the property I was renting from them, they didn’t attempt to fix the issues but did give me an eviction notice. It’s absolutely disgusting how horrible and rude everyone that works for this company is, not to mencione they had the audacity to keep the full deposit money when most of the issues weren’t my fault, shame on you Lovett ???? stay away from the agency, DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.

The lady that served me was dismissive as if they couldn’t wait for me to leave.
In future, it might be better to take a name and contact details for when something comes up even if you don’t have any let’s available currently.

Spoke to a lady and saw a property from lovely with a rude horrible lady called Zadenka? Met her she has black hair and very slim. She was late. She was so unprofessional I went to another estate agents and told my 50 other film crew moving to Bournemouth to do so also after her foul comments. I believe her office is situated in the office more closer towards pokesdown. We have gone to FROST AND CO and they are much more on the ball and pain free.

Lovett’s have been amazing from start to finish with my sale, Dave, poppy, Josh and Roxy in the office have been fabulous! I originally lost my 1st sale due to issue with my maintenance company however poppy managed to get property re sold within 48 hours of losing my 1st buyer.

Long drawn out process through no fault of the agents which I don't think would ever have gone through if it was not for the fantastic job done by the 'sale chaser' Clair Clark. Everyone we dealt with at Lovetts were professional, well informed, courteous and always responded quickly to any queries but Clair was a particular diamond. I have been to a viewing with Poppy who seemed less than interested in anything really. One of the worst experiences I have had so far.
Could not wait to get out of there. And please do not blame covid. There is restrictions and there is this dismissive behaviour.

Whilst on my searches for a property to rent, I came across a lovely house and put in an offer for a 1400 pcm house in the Bournemouth area that I also offered 6 months up front rent for. An entire waste of time - the only agency I’ve actually dealt with in the Bournemouth area that didn’t even have the decency to call me and let me know if I did or did not have success in obtaining the property. I also chased on several occasions with no response at all. Even a cut and copied email would suffice in letting you know if you have not obtained the property you have put the effort of putting an application in for. Complete lack of professionalism. Would avoid if looking for rentals.
From looking through the reviews... they seem to have a tendancy of avoiding disappointing feedback... so I assume this along with my offer will continue to be ignored.

Having let my property with Meridian before they were acquired by Lovett I had high expectations for what Lovett could replicate. How wrong I was. From the start Lovett were unconnected, unprofessional and lacked a sense of understanding. This is especially apparent when checking in or checking out tenants, made 10x worse by their choice of third-party companies who provide inventory and cleaning services. Overall, the service offered by Lovett caused more problems than it solved so I moved to a different agent in the area (thankfully much better).

I was not allowed to VIEW the property until I would declare every little detail & proof of my affordability/budget. What buyer with half a brain who wants to negotiate on a purchase price divulges such information to an estate agent? It's none of their business!
Apparently this is to stop the spread of Covid. Haha, what?? No other estate agents have demanded these details from me and have happily let me view properties within the past few weeks. I say again, LOVETT are utter CLOWNS!

They say that buying a home is one of the most stressful things you can do in life. I can concur this having done it several times. What makes it worse is when you have to do it on your own and in a new town where you no idea whats what. I felt the staff at Lovett (i've only just got the gist of the name) gave me that listening ear. Once you pick that place you want and go for it, the last thing you need are a bunch of 'job worths' with no interest in your pursuit. We dont buy houses very often, but we often buy from the heart. Used 2 or 3 differential agents to start and nothing, no real contact and I contacted Lovett's and meet with James the Assistant Manager best thing I did. They listed the property and in days had viewings and within a couple of weeks had an offer, every step of the way was professional and they all kept me in contact and up to date with everythign, they really do know their market and are realistic with valuations.
The after care with Clair who is amazing I could not sing her praises any more she was in the ball from start to finish always kept me in the loop even if there wasn't an update, willing to help with my solosolici and chase if I needed and was my rock through the painful process. She never gave up and always was cheerful and positive. For the job Clair has to do and people she needs to deal with my hat goes off to her she reallu is amazing.
I hope to never move again but if I did I would go straight back to Lovett's 100%

Firstly, this is my first negative review ever. I just edited a positive one that I wrote below due to the strongly disappointing circumstances.
Don't go near this Lovett if you have anywhere else to go, the people I've met stole our money and lied.
When me and my partner moved in on agreed date, the flat wasn't prepared for us - it wasn't cleaned and was just dirty (pictures saved to show for people of interest). We already had van full of staff parked in front and moved out of our previous flat the same day, so we had no choice but to move in.
The Lovett agent proposed that we should then clean this apartment by ourselves and the agency will pay us for it. It was weekend and cleaner couldn't be organised, so we agreed to it. We've worked through the weekend to clean fridge/floors/kitchen/cupboards/toilet etc. The Lovett agent responsible for cleaning was sent by agency to check if it is up to the standard and apparently it was, because no decision to send a professional was made to clean it for us some more.
But the money payment was postponed until the day we moved out. We made an extra effort and worked through the weekend to make the place shine (pictures to show to compare to the state when we moved in to show for reference) Then the Lovett agent came again and said now it isn't up to the standard and they cannot give any money to us for the first cleaning to pay for this one.
So they lied to make us clean the apartment for free. Maybe they just think they can use us because we're foreign. Anyhow, keep away. Strongly disappointing and not a trustworthy agency.

They still call and email me asking if it's ok to do a flat viewing for a flat that I moved out of AGES AGO. I've spoke to a number of different people who work at the agency and told them they should be contacting the new tenants from their (useless) records! Well done admin team. Clap. I have been a tenant for quite a long time through Lovett international as the agency. The staff are friendly face to face, however very few of them seem to care about getting issues dealt with. We reported various issues with our rented flat and they haven't acted on any of them enough for over 3 months- probably still have not - we moved out. Admin side seems to be quite poor and the general state of the flat we moved in originally 'needs attention' everywhere but none of which was took into consideration and they even have the cheek to increase the rent once I personally made the place overall better- however this could of been the landlord we never did see in the 3-4 years of being a tenant.
Not a big fan of this agency and will do my best not to cross paths with them again.

For yearsI rented out my property and experienced problem after problem from late payment of rent to neglect of property but since being with Lovett all of the previous problems have disappeared. For a smooth worry free letting experience I cannot recommend them highly enough. Superb!

As a first time buyer I looked round and engaged with many different Estate agents. I choose Lovett because the staff were very friendly and helpful to me, and above all as a customer, all I ever want is people to do what they say they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it. Every appointment they were on time, every phone call, email or enquiry I made was answered either promptly or exactly when I was told the response would be. I would recommend Lovett very much.

Over the years my property company has successfully used Lovetts many times to both rent out properties and to sell them. Max De Kment, the driving force behind the business, is widely known in local property circles and has a real insight into the local market. We have found Lovetts to be very good at attracting both tenants and purchasers and they have always looked after our needs well. Their extensive marketing campaigns on the radio, magazines, agency boards etc seem to be everywhere and they certainly pay off in terms of generating interest in our properties. All in all we like Lovetts - they get results!

My last review was deleted, so I'm going to post it again.
They gave me two flats with damp and water damage in a row.
Under no circomestances should you have to seek legal action against a letting agent.
All the staff and management are completely useless, Pascal is probably the worst though.
I wish I never moved out of my old place.
