Was very friendly at the start once received my deposit Nikki accused me of using fraudulent documents but wouldn’t provide proof of this accusation then refused to refund my holding deposit and also told me to shut up and be quiet so she could finish her sentence I do not recommend at all ????????

I was extremely disappointed with the professionalism of this estate agents. After meeting the landlord and agreeing a tenancy, then the estate agent confirming in writing that we had the property and even going so far as to congratulate me, they called me two days later to say that unfortunately they have gone with someone else.
As I was relocating from Spain, I’d gone to the expense of booking and paying for my furniture to be moved back to the UK.
I emailed the owner of the estate agents to tell him how unhappy I was and he hasn’t even bothered responding.
If you want a professional experience I would look elsewhere.!!!

Neil, Tina and their team at Maguire Baylis were a breath of fresh air in selling our one bedroom flat. We certainly noticed their expertise and efficient manner. Two aspects were particularly impressive. First, the property was marketed whilst it was tenanted and surrounded by scaffolding and despite this they quickly obtained several offers. Secondly, their communication and people skills were brilliant. They struck up a good relationship with our tenant which greatly assisted showing the property. They telephoned regularly to update us on progress. They also kept in touch with the buyers and solicitors throughout the process. Prompting us at times and subtly steering the parties through to exchange of contracts.
Maguire Baylis is a local business which is leading the way. I will certainly use them again.

I used Get Agent to whittle down a shortlist of estate agents to seek a valuation of my flat from. Homezone came out on top re: number of sales in my area, quickest turnaround time and % of purchase price achieved.
Tina came to do my valuation - she was experienced and knowledgeable and I felt she would work hard to sell the flat to potential buyers. She organised a viewing the day after it went on the market and that person offered almost the full asking price after their second viewing - from going on the market to accepting an offer took under a week!
Wendy took over managing the sale process and was a great help in keeping me updated and acting as the liaison point with my buyer. She also assisted with unblocking any issues with the solicitors.
I would highly recommend Homezone - they work as a team to sell your property and support you during the process, and are a pleasure to deal with throughout it.

Extremely poor customer service: they booked me in to view a property and nobody ever showed up. When I called wondering what was going on they said the vendor could not show it because she was in a conference call and wanted to arrange it in two hours time, by the time I was 10 miles away. Within the short space of 1 week, Nicci and Wendy helped me secure a beautiful flat to rent. I had to move at fairly short notice, and having the help of Nicci and Wendy made it a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. We sold two properties with homezone, the first one selling almost immediately due to Homezone proactive work in finding a suitable buyer for the flat!
Our second property took a little longer due to the market being unstable at the time but having tried two other totally useless agents, we couldn't be happier with the service we received from EVERYONE at homezone.
Tina, Neil and Gareth did a great job with marketing and finding suitable potential buyers for the property which with grit, determination and perseverance led to a sale.
There was a wobble during the sales process and Tina did the most amazing job of keeping it together, liaising with the agents of the property we were buying and with our buyers to ensure the sale didn't fall through - it didn't! Having found a buyer, Wendy (their sales progressor) did a fantastic job at liasing with all parties and chasing solicitors, she's a real asset.

When Tina first came round to discuss selling our property we immediately knew that she was someone we could work with. We had already decided that we wanted to go with a local agent rather than one of the big national firms as we wanted a no-nonsense, straightforward and hopefully quick sale with no messing around, Homezone delivered on all counts!
The property sold stc very quickly but that was when the team at Homezone, and Amanda in particular, really started to earn their fees with lots of chasing, cajoling and support. There were plenty of regular updates along the way and believe me when I say that if they tell you they’ll phone you back they do. One of the great things about dealing with Homezone is that no matter who you spoke to in the office they could lay their hands on the required information, so internal communication is obviously taken seriously.
It’s reassuring to know that there are still companies like Homezone around providing a professional service with none of the bs often associated with buying and selling houses, thanks in no small part to Tina and the team we are now in our dream property (out of London) Living the good life.
