We bought our home through Homezone (now Maguire Baylis) and completed in June 2023. From the first call with Neil, viewing with Debra and working with Tina and Wendy, they were absolutely fantastic. Positive and fast to reply, they are very easy to work with and helped at every stage. Maguire Baylis are unique in that they are always one step ahead and genuinely care, which makes the whole process so much easier. Thank you again.

We've been really pleased with the service we received from Maguire Baylis. We have just purchased our first home. Nothing was too much for them. Viewings were prompt and professional (they even managed to accommodate all of our last-minute requests); responses to our questions have been quick and detailed (which was great as, being first-time buyers, we had a lot of questions); and we've been kept well updated throughout the process. All staff were very personable and incredibly professional. I would recommend Maguire Baylis and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I was extremely disappointed with the professionalism of this estate agents. After meeting the landlord and agreeing a tenancy, then the estate agent confirming in writing that we had the property and even going so far as to congratulate me, they called me two days later to say that unfortunately they have gone with someone else.
As I was relocating from Spain, I’d gone to the expense of booking and paying for my furniture to be moved back to the UK.
I emailed the owner of the estate agents to tell him how unhappy I was and he hasn’t even bothered responding.
If you want a professional experience I would look elsewhere.!!!

I acquired a property which was being sold by Maguire Baylis in Shortlands. They were a very straighforward and friendly firm of estate agents. The process was excellently managed by Wendy and Tina, who helped deliver a great result for both their client (the seller) and myself as the buyer. I would recommend them to anyone thinking of selling their property in the area, being local and very knowledgable.

We cannot praise the team at Maguire Baylis highly enough.
A few years back despite not being our agent they expertly advised us after a disastrous experience with another local estate agent . Therefore, when we recently decided to sell there was only one choice for us and that was Maguire Baylis.

Neil, Tina and their team at Maguire Baylis were a breath of fresh air in selling our one bedroom flat. We certainly noticed their expertise and efficient manner. Two aspects were particularly impressive. First, the property was marketed whilst it was tenanted and surrounded by scaffolding and despite this they quickly obtained several offers. Secondly, their communication and people skills were brilliant. They struck up a good relationship with our tenant which greatly assisted showing the property. They telephoned regularly to update us on progress. They also kept in touch with the buyers and solicitors throughout the process. Prompting us at times and subtly steering the parties through to exchange of contracts.
Maguire Baylis is a local business which is leading the way. I will certainly use them again.
(PS They were able to advise us on a good solicitor which really helped too)

I recently purchased a property using Maguire Baylis. From start to finish they provided a very professional, helpful and friendly service. Nothing was ever too much for them to sort out and they resolved issues in a timely manner, providing regular updates. I choose to use both their recommendations of solicitor and surveyor, both of which were also great. Tina and Wendy are an asset to the team and really go out of their way to provide a personalised service you wouldn’t get with some of the larger agencies. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to sell or buy a property and would be more than happy to use them again in the future.

From valuation through to completion the whole team at Maguire Baylis were professional and supportive. They regularly updated us on progress and sold our house quickly at a time when the market was quiet. We used Maguire Baylis to sell our property in Shortlands. From our first meeting with Neil, through to the sale itself with Tina, they were nothing but professional. They were on hand when we needed them and despite the fact that we had to remove our house from the market briefly due to the mortgage crisis, they made us feel like we were their only client and were ready to act quickly when we re-listed, even getting it under offer within a week. M&G offer a friendly service with a bespoke feel. We would have no hesitation in recommending them.

The service that I received was not only professional but helpful, friendly and exceptional. The EPC and photography was completed in a matter of days and the house sold on the 1st few viewings. Neil also arranged a locksmith for me as the front door handle broke. Wonderful!
