I was unsure about using getagent to help choose an estate agent but they have produced very useful and interesting stats about how many each agent sold and how quickly that I was very glad of. Marks and Mann have been just great so far. They are (only) local to the area and so there is no sign of the “big company feel” I got from the others I had do valuations. It has proved to be the right choice. From a sellers point of view they have simply done a great job.

I requested 5 local estate agents to value my house & discuss how they would go about selling my property & Marks & Mann by far impressed me the most with not only their price, but the research they had done on the property before the visit, the honesty and the way they put me at ease as it was the first time I was selling a house. They managed to find a buyer on the first day of viewings which was fantastic & they kept us updated throughout the whole process with regular updates.
They also happened to be the estate agent for the house I was buying and again they were fantastic on this side too.
There were delays in the chain and Marks & Mann helped chase solicitors and helped plan the move dates. They went above and beyond & I have already recommended them to friends and family & will only use them if I move again in the future.

Having had some negative experience in the past with estate agents (feeling like we were pieces in a game rather than customers), and now we've worked with Marks and Mann to sell and buy our homes, my opinion has totally changed.
From the beginning, the service was friendly and supportive. At every stage we felt that the team were working for, and on our behalf, rather than simply trying to meet financial quotas. Whilst the team have all been kind and helpful, we were especially impressed by Tony who was flexible enough to give us multiple visits to the property when requested, Emma who kept everything moving and was a great support in explaining processes (with immense friendliness! ), and Shane who was professional and kept everything ticking along and seemed to know everything that was going on.
Although I hope to never have to move again, I would not hesitate from using or recommending Marks and Mann in the future. I simply couldn't have asked for a better service throughout.

I am not even their client, I am purchasing a house for which they are agents. I had to exchange on my house just before finding the house of my dreams, as my buyers had waited so long. So, there was so much pressure to get my new house over the line and in time for my set completion date, with a small chain involved. Despite that I can honestly say that Emma, Shane and the team at Marks and Mann, Martlesham went above and beyond to get the chain exchanged very quickly indeed, especially as there was a major blip along the way. Emma was very quick to think outside the box and find a solution, which saved the chain from collapsing and me having nowhere to live. It was warm and welcoming into a lovely home in a nice community, not pushy sales. The process was swift with regular updates and completion was as simple as handing over the key. We also needed help finding a solicitor and were recommended Sarah at Watkins Stewart and Ross. Who was fantastic. Overall, we had a great team and a great house buying experience, with particular thanks to Shane and Sarah. We certainly recommend them.

I cannot recommend Shane Marks and the team at Marks & Mann highly enough. A selling price significantly in excess of valuations put forward by other local agents was achieved. The whole selling process ran very smoothly with excellent communication from start to finish. Their rates are incredibly cheap for an estate agent you can actually go in to. Fortunately we didn’t need to go in much because marks and Mann made our move as stress free as a move can be. Couldn’t recommend them more . Easy 5 stars.

Joe, Maddy and Julie, the staff in Martlesham Heath office, are professional, efficient, reliable and enthusiastic. My situation was complex and they all showed empathy, understanding and support. They guided me through the processes of selling my home and purchasing a new property offering good sensible advice. They were honest and upfront, fair to all parties involved. I felt safe. The atmosphere in the office is one of optimism and cheerfulness. I felt I could phone or pop in anytime and they were always helpful........... No, I 'm not related to any of them! Sometimes Estate Agents get "bad press" but I can't praise Joe, Maddy and Julie highly enough. It was refreshing.

All staff we dealt with at this office provided very friendly professional service. Even after one sale fell through due to mortgage problems, they pressed hard to obtain other buyers quickly. Took care of all viewings and provided constant feedback. Joe Parker is to be commended, staying in contact even on his day off. He surely is the best of the best.
