A long and painful process in selling our house. A laboured feedback loop, where we were constantly chasing to get any info on viewings. M&P appeared not to have a handle on other parts of the chain. This caused problems that occurred close to the initial exchange day, only to see the sale fall through completely and a need to restart. Lower down the chain there had been a problem from day 1, yet we were told that the sale was well advanced and going smoothly. When it did collapse we fond out through our solicitor that our buyer had put their property back on the market for over a week. M&P either didn't know or were keeping us in the dark. I felt there was a lack of transparency in the sharing of information and this led to some difficult decisions and some long delays. When expecting to exchange the 2nd time, at the end of one week in April we were told a couple of enquiries outstanding to be resolved that day, it turned out there were 32 enquiries. The sale stretched on for another 3-4 weeks.
M&P also failed to issue a revised memorandum of sale to both parties on the second chain and this led to exchange attempts with incorrect information. The result was a buyer scrabbling to reapply for their mortgage within 24 hours and attempts to do a dodgy cash exchange just to get it over the line. Not very professional in my opinion and I certainly won't be using M&P again.

The WORST ever letting agent. Doing least for the fee. The check-out process with tenants and deposit deduction process is a nightmare! The agent lies to me on works and doesn't agree figures. Avoid Marsh and Parsons!

Special mention to Oliver???? Handley, Senior Lettings Negotiator. I recently locked myself outside of my apartment at 21:00, six months after he had already got us into a great flat.
I called him, and despite it being 21:00 and nowhere close to his job description, he drove to the office to grab the spare key.
