The thing that really strikes me about this office is they truly work as a team. If the sales negotiator who is dealing with your sale / purchase is out of the office, other members of the team always ask if they can help & actually do step in if they can. Great, great agents. Great lettings team! Renelle was really friendly over the phone when taking my details and a joy to do viewings with, she seems to know the Clapham market really well and I felt like she worked particularly hard to get my offer accepted on an apartment that was marketed with a few agents! We recently sold our flat with Barnard Marcus in Clapham, and could not have been happier with the service we received. We saw a number of estate agents prior to putting the flat on the market - 3 high street and one online. The online option, I have to admit was tempting - of course due to the significantly reduced fees. However, I firmly believe that had we gone with that option we would not have received anywhere near the level of service, or achieved the same sale price. Communication with Jack and the team at Barnard Marcus was excellent. Even during out of hours we would receive messages about the progress of the sale. We received sound advice on preparing the property for sale and even assistance with removing items of furniture from the flat when we were not able to actually do it ourselves (thanks, Andrew!). Professional, efficient, and again great communication - and worth the fee! I would doubt you will get a better service elsewhere. Highly recommended.

Six months after expressing interest to be added to an existing tenancy (and after paying up all the monies, even the surprise ones) they still have not issued us with a new agreement. Incompetent doesn't even begin to describe the quality of service, it is a needless battle to get anything done. If I wasn't as happy with the property and my housemates, I would have gone elsewhere. Deserves zero stars really...

Don't buy or sell through either of the branches in Norwich. The level of communication is terrible. Different people call up from different branches, they don't pass the message on or put anything on their system. One guy called me up and said " you told me last week you had very little interest in your house you have on the market" i told him when we had spoken the house had been on the market for two days and I had never said that....he was so rude The only thing they push is getting you to have a mortage through them, i told the valuer i was not interested in them sorting out a mortage then a few days later i get a call from a lady saying how they could sort out a mortage for me, i said three times very firmly i didn't want them to but she didn't want to give up... They valued our house over a 125k less than the average value we received from 4 agents...... We were trying to buy a house through them, if it wasn't for the fact we had the owners email we would never have had any thing sorted. We lost the sale but only heard from the owner of the house even though he said the agents should have told me on the Friday.
