Just had a boiler replacement in one of my properties, Lisa could not have been more helpful. She got quotes, questioned them to find out exactly what the works covered, and gave very thoughtful advice. With no disrespect intended to letting agents, I've used quite a few in the past that would get a single quote, not question it at all and then be surprised if the landlord started asking questions. This type of situation is a 3 way partnership, and the agent needs to ensure its win:win for everyone. The guy that got the work gave a competitive quote and clearly had done a good job in suggesting an appropriate boiler. Thanks Lisa, good job.... Read more

Today a funeral car attempted the through way at the rear of Pick My Pad but was unable because a member of staff parked her car even though they have a car park. What if the emergency services needed to put out a fire or save a life?! Well the member of staff I spoke to was not interested in the least, obnoxious & rude spring to mind. I just hope she will not require these services as the people that live in the locality obviously do not interest her. Extremely disappointed with this staff member.... Read more

Horrible Company. Stay clear of them because they don't do their job. As a landlord who trusted them to handle my property, they didn't carry out any inspection on the property when a tenant was there and all they did was kept taking their commission every month from the tenant's rent. They never made any inspection to my property to check if the tenant kept it clean and maintained. My house was destroyed with wallpaper ripping which they didn't tell the tenant to take out because my property had new painting on the wall when it was let out. Gemma was the agent who dealt with our property and she did a horrendous job. Pick my pad shouldn't be given any property to handle. Also the back garden of my property wasn't cut. The grass was up to my knee. The shed in the back was filled with food rubbish, nappies and loads of dirt that had been dumped there by the tenant. There were dead mice in the shed when we cleared it out. Imagine all the stress we had to go through and no apologies from pick my pad. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE THE WORST PROPERTY AGENTS IN THE UK. If I could give them zero stars I would.... Read more

This estate is standard when you are moving in. High fee for tenants, but that's normal right? But once you move in, try asking for a repair. No chance... But what makes me move out is this. ONE MORNING THEY SENT GASMAN IN WITHOUT NOTIFICATION OR PERMISSION, the gasman was very appologetic for trespassing, he blamed the estate agent which given him keys. Do you want to pay rent somewhere they can't be asked to arrange a gas check? No respect for privacy. Awfull.... Read more

Absolute disgrace of a company!!! Dont complete any works that need doing effectively, just use cowboys and do botch jobs, fraudulently collect housing benefit AFTER we moved, gave my details to a landlord who i did not authorize them too. I've used PickMyPad to find tenants on two properties we have in Worsley. It's too far for us to deal with all the viewings and move in etc. Once they have moved the tenants in we look after them ourselves. I've always been very happy with the results and found their service to be faultless. Touch wood, so far always been supplied cracking tenants which is down to their strict vetting process. Awful, quite honestly the worst estate agents to let a house from, I have ever come across. 2 weeks to do a credit check, never ring you back, never follow anything up and charge a lot of money, to quite honestly do absolutely nothing! We had to consistently chase the third party company that does there credit checks after sending numerous emails and phoning constantly. We have now been in our house for 2 months and they have not even removed 'to let' sign post outside, which is ripped out. We have now found that there is a leak in the roof causing black mold and the wallpaper to peal off! Half the windows to the property don't open and the front one feels like it might fall out! After 4 weeks of endless phone calls and messages left to them, all we get is the same reply, "I will ring you back in 2 minutes" which never happens. We told them 2 weeks ago that we will not be paying rent until the problems are fixed, do they ring, or reply, or even send a text message, no. They are quite honestly useless!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO LET YOUR PROPERTY!!!!!!... Read more

I used Pick My Pad to sell my house recently. I asked them round for a valuation along with 3 other agents, i asked them as they were most local to my house and i had started to see there boards popping up all over the area. I found the valuer to be the most professional and easiest to get along with out of the 3 agents so i went with them. My property was on the internet the same day! Which was a great start. We had interest straight away from their mailing list as they have a lot of investors on their books but we agreed a sale with someone local after 5 viewings. It was on the market about 11 weeks and we completed last week :) Pick My Pad were the cheapest agent we got round but they did everything the same as the bigger agents such as Rightmove and newspaper ad, we just felt they cared more and gave us more attention Strongly recommend...
