All the team at Newton Fallowell Brigg were absolutely fabulous when we recently purchased one of their properties. They kept us updated throughout the whole process. Really great and friendly people. They were very accommodating when we went to view the property to take measurements etc.. and nothing was too much of an ask. On our move in date we faced some issues, which were resolved by the team at Newton Fallowell, they even stayed open late to help us get the keys! We couldn't thank them enough. Informed an offer had been made on a property but invited to view in the evening only to be told the next day the offer has now been accepted. Fuming because we wanted the property and also in a position to proceed. Totally wasted our time not to mention the emotional distress. Bad practice.

Offered on a house at the asking price to then be told someone had offered higher, I said I didn’t want to enter a bidding war. I then rang back not even a minute later with an offer higher than the asking price to be told the owners of the property wanted to sell to the other people and paperwork had been sent across… does not add up. I then asked of another property and put an offer forward and it was a straight no…not even ‘I will put forward to the owner’. I am a first time buyer and all of this has knocked my confidence massively and feel I have been treated unfairly.

Don't bother looking elsewhere if you are selling, just trust in Julie and Howard. From start to finish, they were excellent, assisted by The rest of the team!
