Do not rent any property associated with Nexa especially if you are young!! We have had endless issues since renting through Nexa properties which they are still yet to acknowledge/resolve. These issues include damp within the property (black mould and mushrooms growing), leaking boiler, no hot water for days at a time, lack of security (windows that do not close), we were also without a shower for 3 months. If you are a young person they do not attempt to fix or resolve any issues you have until you threaten the council or not paying rent!... Read more

I had so many troubles with Nexa at the beginning of as 1 staff did not set up my account and following the case properly. I did make an internal complaint and after that things get improved. And the senior member took over the case and handled a little better from now on. I did give them 1 star before. Consider things move on and everything goes well as it should be. I am happy to give them 4stars now. Hope they can keep up with the work and can do business in long time with them.... Read more

Very unprofessional in many ways. A range of issues throughout the house which were not fixed through the whole year of the tenancy, mould which was only Painted over and would be a recurring issue with them blaming ourselves for the issue. And at the end of the tenancy they take as much deposit as possible and claim the house was in a bad state when it wasn’t. Students please stay away!... Read more

Left a student shared HMO in July. It is currently middle of October and all tenants are yet to receive their deposits or any information as to what is going on with the deposits.
Predatory company would highly recommend staying away from any Nexa owned properties if you are a student.... Read more

First of i cant comment on other aspects of Nexa, only being a tenant renting through them. Would never rent through Nexa again tbh. Kept trying to get access to the properaty while we where at work for viewing after giving little notice. Took a large amaount for "cleaning charge" when we left the property exactly how we found it and now being charged £31.00 to get the remainder of the deposit back. Gave no support against a useless Landlord who never followed his legal obligations. The only plus side was they where a step up from pink street who they took over from.
But all the tennants i spoke to in the block of flats said the exact same thing. Try to avoid renting through them.... Read more

After having a bumpy ride with selling and buying with local untrustworthy estate agent, we met Sarah from NEXA, who turned our journey around... Sarah was upfront and straight to the point which helped us to move forward to selling our house.
Sarah was respondent and always helpful, she may have been sick of our anxieties but would always calm and reassure us throughout the process.

I moved into my flat in September.
Whilst I did have a few hiccups at the beginning of my tenancy, with it being a new build things are bound to happen.
After addressing the issues, both Chris Smeed at Nexa, and the landlord Rob King could not have been more helpful, and a shoutout to Darrell Manchip at Nexa who also reassured me through the process.
The issues were resolved and 8 months later I am still so happy with my flat - no issues have happened since the beginning and I couldn’t have asked for a better service.
I had my inspection 6 months in and Georgia Brown was so friendly during the visit too.
As a first time private renter, I was very anxious about it all, but I am so pleased with the service and most especially the condition of the property - it’s beautiful.
I would definitely use them in the future.
