08/10/2024: Further update to my last review 5 years ago. I can highly recommend Nicholas Humphreys, Nottingham branch, especially Shelley. She continues to help me with my property, and my fathers too, being proactive in making sure we are one step ahead with any potential repairs, so as not to impact the students too. Thanks Shelley ???? Update to my previous review - Shelley has recently joined the team and now manages my property, she has hit the ground running. She keeps me in the loop with regards to works to go on at the house, as well as with the tenants. She liaises with people in the trade for the best quote for me. Really happy she is on the board - Thanks Shelley :) Nicholas Humphreys in Nottingham have looked after two properties for me since they 2013, and I have to say that starting from the top, Jonathan Macdonald through to Will Young, they are a brilliant team. Always responsive to not only my requests, but also the tenants they look after. Thank you guys :D... Read more

this is the first time I've been involved with this letting agent, I was to fit a kitchen arranged by them. Shelley was my go to person, on our initial on site meeting I found Shelley extremely helpful in the planning, and easy to talk to. As the work progressed I needed some questions answered, I was impressed at the speed of my returned calls and messages, even out of office hours seemed to pose no problem at all. Our new student house with Nicholas Humphreys had a fair amount of dust, cobwebs, and a previous tentants sock. After consulting this with the agency, they told us the house was 'completely habitable'. This seemed as though they were disregarding the situation. Responses from them have been taking longer than 10 days, with follow up emails needed to get a response. EDIT: After 27 days from the initial email, our issue was resolved swiftly by another team member, who sent a clear and satisfactory update on the changes made. It seems that the lack of communication was the main issue.... Read more

She promptly addressed our concerns and guided us appropriately when needed. We were lied to by Danielle many times during our tenancy about buildings work being completed at our property who claimed she was unaware what was happening which have begun to affect us after she ensured they wouldn't. When our windows were blocked shut by scaffolding and we pointed out in the event of a fire we couldn't escape we received the reply 'let's hope that doesn't happen'.... Read more
