The added bonus was that they were so good at arranging viewings they achieved a high quality offer of over the asking price after a number of buyers wanted the property. I’m incredibly pleased with the service I received from Sammy and Sarah for the sale of my father's property. Selling my late father's house was very daunting, but the whole process was straight forward thanks to the effort and time made by Sammy to sort everything out meaning there was little for us to do.
This company are true to their word and everything is done quickly and thoroughly.
From the initial valuation ( we had some big Burton companies come out ) who did not show much interest in a personal approach, Sammy was knowledgeable and true to his word. When instructing open house it was simple no crazy rules such as tie in periods or sole marketing or upfront fees, everything was explained clearly,and they genuinely wanted to sell our property and that's exactly what they did ,very quickly too.
Sarah and Sammy conducted all the viewings, found a buyer and negotiated this on our behalf, they were always available ( literally evenings , weekends , via text or phone )and communicated how each part of the whole process would move forward. They also profoundly understood the housing market and all the process involved to the point of exchange of contracts.
Sammy helped ensure the transaction of the house ran smoothly and informed us of everything we needed to do. He even went to the property when could not attend to allow workmen access.

The communication both on the phone or by email was really professional and efficient. They understood the difficulties of trying to sell a house whilst working and endeavoured to make their communication fit around us as sellers. They made us feel that we were important to them which is something we haven’t experienced with other estate agents.
They organised a high number of viewings on a couple of days which made it easy for us to live around but it also created a “buzz” which I am sure is why we achieved offers over the asking price.

Sam was nothing but amazing from our viewing right up to completion day!! Nothing was too much trouble, he spoke to us even some nights at 8/9 o'clock at night and he even answered the phone while he was on his honeymoon in Turkey!! ( we of course didn't realise he was on holiday or we wouldn't have bothered him!!) I would recommend open house to anyone their service is really personal and they definitely care more than your average estate agent!!

We are the buyers of Blackpool St, we lived in the house next to the one we brought. What can I say these are the worst estate agents ever, don’t have a clue and really unprofessional. We would have paid £10k more than what we did given it was next door, they didn’t negotiate and that’s the only best thing about them. They talk a good game, but that’s all they do. Their a franchise, no professionalism or estate agent experience, very good with convincing people. At the outset wanted us to use their mortgage broker and solicitor, obviously they get commissions. Thankfully we didn’t our solicitor was on the ball and despite several requests for confirmation of an completion date by email they didn’t do so. I suspect the positive reviews are fake from friends, as they have more reviews than houses they’ve sold. I wouldn’t sell with this company and if I was buying don’t use their recommendations for brokers or solicitors.

I can highly recommend Open House to sell your property. Even though access through the tenants was limited an offer was in place quickly. Landlords if you have a property to sell then go to this Agent. !! There was minimum disruption to the tenants with care taken on viewings with appointments to suit. I was also very pleased with the marketing details. Sammy was very creative and discerning with the photos and description. Don't go anywhere else you will not get this round the clock service.
