We are ever so grateful for your excellent service. At times we thought would we ever find 'the one' but low and behold.... Mr Jack Meddings came to our rescue and found us our dream home in the heart of stunning Carshalton.

As a first-time mover in over two decades, the entire process was completely new to me. However, Jack took the time to explain everything thoroughly, which quickly put my mind at ease.

We were very happy with Paul Graham's handling of the sale of my mother's house. I chose them partly through a recommendation from a neighbour as to how professional they are, which they totally lived up to. They found a buyer within a few days, and although the death of my mother then put everything into suspension while we waited the standard 16 weeks (ridiculous!!) for the Grant of Probate , they managed the situation very attentively, as promised, and everything went completed as soon as was possible. Would certainly use again.

When we were looking at options to sell our property, there were plenty of agents trying to wow us with their glossy marketing materials and promise of a ‘5-star service’. But these agents came up short when it came to in-depth knowledge of the local market and dedicated sales progression. Our sale didn’t go smoothly due to numerous issues beyond our control at the bottom of the chain. Without the dedication of Jane (Paul Graham’s sales progressor) I doubt it would ever have got across the line. While the agents handling the related sale floundered and failed to communicate, she kept a cool head and was in constant touch. Meanwhile, Jack’s knowledge of the local market is unrivalled, and the whole team were helpful and communicative throughout the process. I can’t thank them enough.

Initially Paul Graham were impressive for the property purchase. However following a full structural surveyor's report which advised essential major works including roof repair and electrical non-compliance and reporting the roof was nearing end of life, we had to regrettably withdraw our offer. At this point, Paul Graham Carshalton branch rudely told us they would 'remove us from their system' as they 'would not recommend us again', even though we were sensibly ensuring we did not to commit to an unsuitable purchase in view of the above.
In response to the comment on 17/7/23 from Paul Graham Carshalton branch:
We advised we were withdrawing from the purchase as we had signifant concerns not 'some concerns', from the structural survey report.
You emailed to say that the owner would be happy organise the repairs to what you think would satisfy our concerns. This did not address all our concerns in full, which we expressed to you both on the phone and in our withdrawal of offer email, in particular the 'roof nearing end of life'.
Since your suggestion that the owner could organise repairs to satisfy our concerns; not including addressing the end of life roof, we have not been in contact with you. How, therefore can you state that we 'then advised that the house wasn’t right' for us and that we 'were looking for a property which was more suited' to us. This is an outright lie.
You assume we 'just changed' our 'mind about the property'.
This is inaccurate.
We have only withdrawn because of the concerns as per our withdrawal email, in particular the roof again being near end of life. The house was a good match and we did not make the decision to withdraw lightly.
We also regret that the we were unable to reach a sale; but the roof near end of life was not compatible with our timelines or budget, with or without the vendor's help. We were not to know about the roof near end of life until we did our due diligent survey and we informed you of our withdrawal within a week of us receiving the survery report so as not to cause undue distress to the vendor. Our issue is with Paul Graham's handling of our withdrawal of sale; not the vendor or any other party.
We are very dissappointed that Paul Graham does not support buyers who are simply trying to make sensible purchases with due diligence.

As we all know, selling your home in England can be a fraught and very stressful experience. The smoothest move. Jack and his team have been fantastic from start to finish. From the moment they came round to give us a valuation, they were honest with their opinions and you could tell straight away, we were with the right people.
We gained a lot of interest immediately and the open day was a massive success, run to an absolute T by Jack.
Once we proceeded further into the move, Jane was our sales progressor thankfully! What a wonderful lady to deal with. Easily contactable, always taking our thoughts and wishes into consideration, but first and foremost, excellent at her job. Updates were so regular, we knew where we stood at every moment. We viewed a few properties through Paul Graham and they were very knowledgeable and professional. Unlike some other agents we viewed properties through, we never felt pressured and they were honest and transparent throughout the bidding process.
During the subsequent sale, Sales Progressor Jane was undoubtedly the only reason the sale progressed within the agreed timeframes! Jane went above and beyond to support us very naive first time buyers in the process, and ensured the chain kept moving. As the other reviews say, Jane spun numerous plates, chasing up unresponsive solicitors and liasing with everyone in the chain right to the end. We are really grateful to Jane who was just brilliant, but also the wider team, who have provided a really great, personalised service throughout.
We would use Paul Graham again without hesitation.

We turned to Paul Graham (Carshalton branch) when another local agent had been unable to sell our 2 bedroom end of terrace property after months of trying. Paul Graham and worked hard to get the right viewings through the door. They kept us in the loop with progress throughout, advised us when the time came to considering offers to accept, and were sympathetic and helpful when an offer eventually fell through. They gave good advice about going back on the market and helped to make the eventual transaction as painless - and quick - as possible.

We started to look for the house at the beginning of July 2021, it was really hard to find property which we would like but when we saw 3bed house on Carshalton that Paul Graham agency just put we understood, that house should be ours. It wasn’t easy to get it even if we had some savings agents checked all the offers very properly. But Yes our offer was accepted. It was pleasure to work with this agency, all the agents were nice and very professional, they help us to get our keys quickly, they were in touch with everyone with our adviser, solicitor and with us. We find a house through this agency with the agent Adam. Everything was good until they started to lie, and I also thinking that the agent and seller knew each other as they said something, the vendor something and both lying. After 2 months of losing our time they called one day and say that the seller took back the house from the market, I was so surprised and I couldn't belive, so I've asked my sister to call them and ask about the house and the answer was: It's sold!!! We used purple bricks for our sale but would recommend you go with Paul Graham especially if there is anything not straight forward about your sale that could mean further negotiations are required as they are worth every penny to save you stress.

I can’t recommend Paul Graham enough. They became involved in our sale after months of viewings with an agent that over-valued our property and no offers. Really poor from start to, eventual, finish. I deliberately avoided the big chain estate agents in a (fruitless it turns out) attempt to be treated like a valued customer. After my asking price was "too high" (that was your valuation, not mine!) I was told to take the very first offer that came along even though it was tens of thousands less. Aren't you supposed to work for us?! The pain didn't end there, the sale dragged on for far too long and whenever I tried to find out what was going on the only person who could deal with it "wasn't available". The agent was a huge letdown and if it wasn't for our solicitor we never would have moved. Never again!

They were never interested in helping us, took many calls to just get a viewing then 5 phone calls when making an offer as no one ever got back to us! I then had to do the chasing to get the purchase through.
We said we would never go back to them when selling as multi branch companies like this just don't seem interested & you just feel like a number. Shame but with there being so many agents in the area, you've got choice & this company was not on our list.
