This estate agent want £60 to make an offer on a house. They say the need to check identity and use a third party web based company to do this. The won't accept brining my passport or driving licence in to the estate agents as they say they can't assess if it is genuine or not! apparently the website they refer can! I think staff need training to check peoples ID. I guess its another way for estate agents to make more money. Imagine the number of people who may like a house and want to make an offer- pay £60 to do so, for the offer to be rejected.
Not all agents do this, if you comply to these bully tactics it will become industry normal. You will find that companies like these will want your ID to be checked before doing viewings.
I will not sell any of my properties using this company, when they take a percentage of the sale and insist on £60 ID checks of any prospective purchaser.

I wished to view a property that was being sold by this agent but I got the dates mixed up (my fault) I however used the time I had to have a good look around the outside of the property,walk the local area and speak to a few of the local people to gauge the local area.I decided, especially with the rate at which property is currently selling at the moment,that I had seen and heard enough to put in an offer on the property.I was more than polite and courteous on the phone,explained what had happened and was basically told to whistle.Beyond demoralised really.

I recently purchase my house through Your Move, and although the sale was slow moving to begin with, Your Move kept me updated and preserved with the difficult vendors throughout. Rang to get a value of our property when the person answered the phone I asked if they did free valuations the women asked what was the reason... (Obviously it was for a value to see how much our house was worth) so I told her we had recently had work done and wanted to know what the value was so as we could make a decision on what we wanted to do with our home to which she replied very rude that they do not do that and that I should go on Zoopla and get a value you off there and then put the phone down... When we come to sell our house we will be avoiding these at all costs not a very good impression of their service.

Very obliging, the sale seemed to take longer than quoted. The reason I wouldn't give 5 stars is that you need to keep checking online where the sale is up to. It takes away a more personal touch though we did have phone and email contact too.

Booked a valuation, was told it would be sent out the following day.
It's been 6 days, including a weekend and I've called them everyday to be told it will be done by the end of the day and have been let down everyday. They've done the site visit so I just need the email with the details but they can't seem to send them just going back and forth with people in the office, wasting my time and there own unfortunately.

We recently saw a property go up for sale and the day the board went up, we went into Yourmove Tunstall. The agents Josh and Ian were absolutely fantastic and so understanding of our situation and did their best to try and help us out. I spoke to Josh who said he’d contact me the following week to arrange a viewing of the property when they go live. I then contacted your move again the following week and unfortunately by some bad luck the phone was answered by Christine - she is honestly the rudest person I have spoken to in a long, long time! Customer service is definitely not her area. She was condescending and rude throughout the entire process, when we went to view the property she didn’t even greet us or answer any questions asked and just looked at my face as if though i was asking too much when I was asking simple things such as if I can have a look at the garage or about the boiler, all things you need to know when you are considering purchasing a house Upto nearly £200k. We put down a reasonable offer for the property which was rejected, she then called me and asked me if this was our highest offer, so we increased it by £7k. She said is this your highest offer I said yes at a push we could go higher, she then started shouting at me down the phone saying she hasn’t got time to ring around and ask for better offers if this is it it’s it and if not then basically look elsewhere. I then asked her if I can call her back and we offered the asking price. I did not react to her rude behaviour. Our final offer of the asking price was then refused, she didn’t bother to ring us to tell us even though we had been waiting a whole week, when I rang for an update she said she’d been trying to call me all morning which was a lie because I had my phone with me and other peoples calls were connecting. She was not apologetic and was rude about the reasoning why we didn’t get the house saying she doesn’t need to disclose anything to us (which as first time buyers doesn’t help because we don’t know where we are wrong) and she then laughed and put the phone down.
I am very upset with the way she dealt with our potential purchase and wish that she never answered the phone when I rang that very first time - my bad luck!
For anybody selling or buying a house from your move tunstall - be aware of Christine! She just tries to make people increase their offers and give them hope with no intention of considering them for the sale and is extremely rude, condescending and quite frankly a horrible person!

Since moving in to a rental property through your move Tunstall I haven’t stopped recommending to friends and family, the whole process was so smooth from the first viewing to filling out paper work and collecting the keys. Ian and the team couldn’t have helped anymore than they did. When we moved in to the property a few small Maintance issues had arisen that couldn’t have been found until after we had moved in but the team had someone out within a day looking at the issues and resolving it all no questions asked. They are by far the best agent I have rented with.

We recently put our house on the market with Your Move Estate Agents. From the first meeting to the completion everything went very smoothly. Ian and his team kept the lines of communication open at every stage. We also used their solicitors which also helped the smooth transition. There are a few estate agents who wont carry our viewings whilst the house has a tenant but Your Move stepped up. We could have sold the house in about 6 weeks as it was sold subject to contract within 4 days after they placed the house for sale on their website. From the moment we contacted your move we were able to arrange a date and time for a valuation .On arrival ian introduced himself and we got to work, it was a stressfull time for us as we were selling a family members house with lots of memories within but ian and your move were respectful to this fact and showed compassion towards us and so friendly too .We used your move because there were no hidden costs and because of how we were looked after the house went up for sale with some lovely pictures and the house sold within the week . I’m purchased my house through Your Move, completing 3 weeks ago. This had to be the most hardest, frustrating purchase known to man. The vendor was a nightmare but luckily for me, Ian and team were there from start to finish.
Christine is a joy to talk to, so polite and calm. Elliot was so helpful when he met me numerous times at the house when viewing and to be honest I don’t think the purchase would have gone through without Ian’s hard work and dedication to getting this to completion.

We had a house to sell and not living in the area together with lockdown restrictions this could have been a difficult time but Your Move to the rescue and from our initial chat we felt very confident we were in safe hands.
The house was quickly valued and on the market within a week and even more surprisingly sold within days, from thereon in everything has run very smoothly, we have been kept well informed at every stage and also able to check online viewings which were booked and then later the progress of the sale as it progressed, from a personal point of view we found this very helpful.

I am really so grateful to Ian, Christine and Bea for the professionalism, courtesy and patience they have afforded me over the last three years. I came to Your Move Tunstall after an awful experience with another estate agent (an online one with a colour in the name). Ian and his team were understanding and talked through my options in relation to my property. A decision was made that I would initially rent out my house which would allow me to recover financially with a view to selling in the future. I was kept informed of the legalities regarding renting and Ian and his team were able to rent out my house quickly. During this time, if I have had any questions, I have been treated courteously and professionally with every question answered. Phone calls are returned when promised and information has been clearly relayed and explained. In January this year I spoke to Ian and broached the subject of selling my house. Ian explained the tenancy arrangements, contacted my tenants and then arranged to place the house for sale in February. I wanted to sell a property in stoke on trent in Oct 2020 and I was stuck abroad due to lockdown. I approached Ian Minton and he quickly understood my situation. He assured me that I don't need to worry and he will get it done. Ian found a potential buyer in 2 weeks and informed me about everything over e-mail. He helped me find a good solicitor who can deal with my special case. Started the process and I approached Ian for everything. I had lot of stuff in my house and buyer wanted the property empty. I again approached Ian for this and he gave me multiple options to choose from and connected me with one of reasonable clearance company. Ian not only provided me services as agent but went one mile extra and helped me at each and every step. Buyer side solicitors were slow but Ian kept me informed over e-mail through out the process. Your Move Tunstall have just helped me sell my parents’ house in Chell. Ian and Christine were professional, responsive, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. From the moment we had our valuation with Ian, we could tell he knew his stuff. This process has been difficult for us (solicitor delays!) and despite this Ian has been very helpful in pushing issues through, getting any problems resolved and has shown excellent communication and resolution skills. He’s provided me with updates literally days before the solicitor has got around to contacting me with the same information. He helped us fill in forms and provided sound, trustworthy advice. Even throughout the lockdown, they’ve never been unavailable! I would highly recommend their services to anyone considering using them. Our experience with Christine was equally good. She knows her stuff and is a brilliant negotiator. If you are considering an estate agent in this area I would definitely recommend them! Do it. We had other valuations and had one valuer from another agent who came in a flashy suit and spouting about how good their company was and how quickly he could sell our house etc and it all seemed a bit fake. Our gut told us to go with Ian because he was down to earth, honest and quite simply: trustworthy. We don’t have any regrets for going with Your Move. They have made a difficult time much more bearable! Thanks to the Your Move team in Tunstall, we’ll always be grateful for your help and support.

We bought a buy to let property from your move tunstall and they have been brilliant from booking the viewing to completion. Christine who showed us around was very knowlegable and got our offered accepted the same day, she also booked us in to see the mortgage adviser as we wanted to make things as stress free as possible. Ian was our point of contact throughout the purchase and was always happy to help no matter how big or small the question and even helped us to fill out solicitors paperwork . After such a good experiance we decided to let the property through them. Beatrice talked us through the whole letting process and had the property on the market the day we completed and found us a tenant promply, she gave us regular updates on viewing's/feedback and once the tenant was found how it was progressing. Overall we couldn't be happier or thank the team enough. We now wouldnt go elsewhere.

Booked to view a property and called 74 minutes prior to viewing to say property had been sold... I booked the afternoon off work to view it, it was never mentioned during the initial phone call the property had received an offer etc. I called approx 3 days prior to day of booking... poor customer service, lady laughing on the voicemail to tell me it was sold, clearly didn’t care about how it put myself out. Won’t ever be using this estate agent again.

100% would go to your move in Tunstall all of the staff there including be, Chrissie and Ian all go above and beyond for you to get your home. We have been put on a one month rolling contract with our previous landlord and with us having three little girls we need security. Chrissie understood that right away and got up the house on hold for us that day! And with my partner being self employed be has done everything possible to help us with all the paper work. They will never rip you off they speak the truth. Thanks so much to you all. X

Firstly Steph was awesome. Sorted my mortgage and held my hand through the process and made it so simple for me. Brilliant
Christine showed me around my now new home and was also brill. Had all the answers and then got me a fantastic deal on my house. Can’t thank Her enough. Beatrice has also been fantastic. The whole team so far have been the ultimate professionals.
And last but not least Ian Minton....what can I say?? Ian has been magnificant and helped and answered all my questions(however mundance and simple they may have been)and literally held my hand and helped me out with chasing solicitors etc. He has always answered and returned my calls and emails promptly and with all the information I have needed. And He has never given me the brush off or been off(and trust me i have been emailing and calling alot lol)...
So too end my reveiw all I can say regarding Yourmove at Tunstall is the team is they are fantastic! Professional, curtious, helpful, patient, informative, knowledgeable and 100% recommended.
Use Steph if you need a mortgage and definitley use Yourmove Tunstall if your looking to buy in the area
