I've recently rented out my apartment I own in the town centre through them and I was pleasantly surprised. I have always used one of the larger agencies but I found that I wasn't getting the personal touch as every time I'd call my old agent I would be put through to someone who was dealing with it but that person kept changing which became too much as the tenants they placed were not paying the rent in full and I had to evict them.
I was approached by Sunny who said he was searching a property like mine for one of their corporate clients so I decided to go with Reading Estate Agent and I was surprised by the level of attention and their fees were rather attractive. I went for fully management like before however I was only charged the fee amount for their rent collection. My new tenants have been in now for 3 months and apparently from the previous Estate Agency not giving the meter readings from when my previous tenants eventually moved on I've experienced no problems.
I am more than happy to recommend Sunny and his team to anyone fed up with the high fees from the town centre agencies.

THIS PLACE Has changed it's name 5 TIMES UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT BUT STIL RUNNING WITH SAME 2GUYS MY BOYFRIEND NEVER GOT HIS DEPOSIT BACK EVEN THOUGH THE PLACE WITH IMMACULATE CONDITION THEY BLOCK US TILL WE SEEK LEGAL ADVICE THAN THROUGH COURTS FINALLY GOT OUT DEPOSIT GUYS WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE ITS HEART ATTACK PROBLEM

I found my property on Zoopla website. The estate agent who helped me is from the Reading Estate agent. His name is Mr. Matt Barrell.
I want to thanks him. He's an excellent, professional and communicative estate agent. He's very passionate with his job. He's kind, friendly, intelligent and knowledgeable with properties. I am very lucky to meet Matt, on the first day we met, he showed me around the property. It was an amazing property and I wanted to buy it as my new home. During the pandemics , Matt never stopped working, he helped me make sure the sale was going smoothly and updated me daily. My friends and family from Japan were very impressed with Mr. Matt Barrell service, he exceeded our expectations.

Started off really helpful on the phone regarding a potential purchase, however this quickly descended into a disappointing service with no comeback on a couple of simple questions we wanted answering from the vendor, the nature of which we (and our solicitor) felt needed resolving before making an offer. We felt that Matt simply couldn't be bothered finding these answers (easily obtained with a quick phone call to the vendor) and ultimately that we were being penalised/ being a nuisance for doing our due diligence. If we were the vendor in this scenario we'd be very disappointed to know this is how a potential purchase is handled

They are very polite, knowledgeable and very nice people. I viewed a property on Zoopla which I liked and arranged a viewing with them. Later on I reflected on the property and cancelled at the last moment as parking was a bit of inconvenience with that particular property, in my opinion. It was absolutely fine with them and they took rejection really well, they did not call me up and force me to view other properties like other estate agents. I did not use their service, but the first impression I got about the company is they are very professional, friendly and extremely polite people. I had a couple of interactions with them but
you can make out they are very good guys, as the saying goes childhood shows the man, as morning shows the day. Please take up their service you will not be disappointed.

I had given my property to Reading estate agent and gave them a notice of letting out my property within 3 weeks, other estate agents that I had previously dealt with regarding my other properties did struggle at times but Matt Barrell was very focused on finding me tenants for my property and I would like to say thank you for your hard work and, for an amazing new tenant. We found Romans to be extremely helpful. Bernadette did a great job, keeping us informed about properties were interested in and being very patient when she couldn't get hold of me on the phone. In the end, changed circumstances meant we didn't move, but I will be happy to deal with Romans again should things change in future.

As a former tenant, I am shocked and disgusted about this agent`s services. You do not deserve even 1 star. Flat given very dirty, not possible to notice all after a quick viewing. In some places there was a mould. I spent hours to make it livable. This agent was dishonest at a start not declaring £150 check out fee because they did not disclose all charges before me committing to pay the holding deposit. This fee was in the tenancy agreement they sent about a week after paying holding deposit and completing credit checks. At this point if I did not like the fee I could lose money paid and the place so I would be on the street. You wont find this fee on the breakdown of monies they shown me first to sign, nothing on their website up to now in the section for tenants "fees" where they are obligated by law to disclose all fees. Then after check out they send email only not even invoice or quote to demand extra money from my deposit, hard work money for things I reported during tenancy but did not want to do it and for other thing already broken in the flat. So you can expect long fight about your deposit as me. I have reported all to trading standards. Hopefully they will do something about it so they will start trading fairly and give people a choice to decide if they are OK to go ahead with their fees and stop ripping people off. You have been warned, do not use them. They only care about money. But holla folks, carry on like this you might be seriously fined, also soon all fees will be banned and...you may close down as the only thing you know is a scam, lies and more lies. You cannot blame for telling the truth, can you???

In addition to my review from yesterday and other reviews that i have given this company over the past few weeks i must point out that for every negative review the owners of reading estate agents make fake gmail accounts and post positive reviews. For every negative comment i post on their social media pages the comments are swiftly deleted. For every private message i send regarding my previous tenancy with this company, they are read and again swiftly deleted. For every email i send regarding my previous tenancy they are unread or deleted and not returned. For every call i make it is unanswered. I am sure this outfit think i am a joke when i say i have been to trading standards and to the council regarding their work ethics and their scam activities infact whilst in with the council a simple google search of the company directors past and present with the housing officer brought up an array of previous illegal activities. I stress that i will not rest until i have my monies returned.

DONT BE FOOLED BY THE POSITIVE REVIEWS AFTER EVERY NEGATIVE , THESE ARE MADE BY FAMILY MEMBERS OF READING ESTATE AGENTS , , what can i say , horrendous experience with this company and vile vile staff , one staff member constantly on mobile phone , staff member by the front door constantly smirking , the old staff member with the moustache pervs at you , im just glad my boyfriend was with me at the time , we swiftly made an exit after they could not accommadate our property needs , went to mccartheys further down the road and they were amazing , do not touch this place
