My partner recommended Reddingtons estate agents to sell my house, I was really unsure about this as I lived in Hinckley. So I took the risk and sure enough after a couple of weeks my house was sold at the asking price. The overall service was excellent, even my solicitor said that Reddingtons were a pleasure to deal with and even resolving issues caused by my seller’s agents.
Special mention for ‘George’ the lady who was my main contact who was nothing short of brilliant.

We were given a section 21 due to the landlord wanting to sell the house. Overall they were quite unprofessional during the process, arranging viewings without telling us and trying to make silly deductions from our deposit.
It’s a shame, we had a good experience while Cameron was working there, but once he left it went downhill.

The best estate agents in the area by a country mile, couldn't of asked any more of them. If you live in Coalville and surrounding areas it's a no brainer, as these lot are in a different league to the rest. Cameron, you're an absolute legend, favourite person I've met since I moved to the midlands. Can't thank you enough for being so approachable and helpful during the whole process, give that man whatever he wants!

After a very disturbing time when our house was struck by lightening and we were out of our home for over 10 months, we were introduced to Katie at Reddingtons. I have found this estate agent an absolute nightmare to deal with as a disabled person with Autism & Crohn's disease. I signed for a lease early this year for a house on Duke Street, Melton Mowbray, and had I known about the sheer number of faults wrong with the house I would have thought twice and walked away. The representative will promise you the world and claim they offer attention to their clients but they really do not care about you as a person in any sense of the word.
First issue reported was the shower which was leaking water from the base of the unit and was unsafe to use. I informed the agent that as I had bowel resection surgery with an end Ileostomy I do not take baths and would appreciate a speedy response in resolving. Well, it wasn't so speedy. It took about a month and three visits, the first from an electrician who called it condemned, then a plumber who said the same and then a repeat visit from said plumber to replace the unit. I found myself having to wash by a sink for quite a few weeks in a cold room which was rather unpleasant as the Estate agent dragged their feet.
Second major issue was the badly fitted front door which over the winter was shaking constantly in the wind making a racket during windy days. They still to this date have not resolved this after many months and following an ant infestation which resulted in ants swarming my living room. The landlady visited and offered bait traps but did nothing about the door. I had to involve environmental health from the council over this as they were concerned about my welfare as a vulnerable adult. This got me notice that I'm being served with a Section 21. Not nice right?
Third major issue which is ongoing is the boiler which to be honest is probably older than what I am judging by its design and old fashioned dials. I think it was there when the house was first built. Anyway I reported to the estate agent on 16 May 2022 that the downstairs radiators were ice cold while the upstairs ones were hot. I believe this to be a pump issue? I discovered the boiler had been venting water from the flue and reported to the agent with pictures to which they have done nothing to do this date to resolve. I had informed them that the radiators downstairs are working fine on 21 May 2022 and requested that after what had happened that someone come out and give the boiler a once over to check if everything's ok. The estate agent as of 3 June 2022 has not complied or made any offers to rectify the issues.
There's a number of minor issues such as the back garden fence which is badly in need of replacement and non functional door handles which the estate agent has still not resolved after months of informing.
The biggest issue to me which horrified me is that they expect you to just up and leave on the whim of the landlords who are happy to charge the world for this house but do nothing to rectify any faults or issues. The previous tenant left this house in a horrific state with marks on the walls which were noted during inventory but there were no offers at all to date of decorating.
I have spent many an hour on the disaster which was the back garden which was overrun with bramble to such an extent it took many weeks of work to remove to the best of my ability. The bushes and trees were overgrown and many were dead. This was a garden which clearly had not been maintained by anyone for such a long time but I did not receive a word of thanks for my efforts.
The main issue here is that after reporting the issues wrong with this house I'm about to be served with a Section 21 notice and have had legal threats from the landlord via the Estate Agent. This was because after mentioning I have autism and nowhere else to go I would have little choice but to remain during the eviction process. The owner Katy had no empathy or understanding whatsoever and did not care about my needs/well being. Possibly the worst estate agent ever.

A big thank you to George who stuck with us through a particularly painful selling process! in the beginning Katy at Reddington’s put us at ease for our first house sale and continuing with George as our main contact shown commitment and hard work. A little concern enhanced by our sheer frustration at our chain was that we were not receiving the promised weekly updates, however this was immediately remedied and George really went on to show us what she was made of! She definitely kicked everyone into gear and I think without her help we still wouldn’t have been in the house today. Thank you again all and here’s to being in our new home :)

I cannot praise Katy, George and Tara enough!! They are professional, thorough, knowledgeable and call you back when they say they will.
I was having huge problems with my conveyancing company during the purchase of my property through Reddingtons and they helped put the pressure on and gave me daily updates.
I would definitely recommend Reddingtons and should I ever consider moving in the future I wouldn’t hesitate in using them.

We are now living in our second rental property with Reddington Homes and cannot fault the service we have received. On both occasions Reddington Homes managed to find us lovely homes that suited our requirements perfectly - which was not an easy task. The process both times has been smooth with minimal fuss. The team are precessional and friendly, and they are always happy to help.
Any problems that we have reported have been managed professionally and swiftly, with any remedial actions resolved quickly. I would also like to say that the professionalism and warmness of the team at Reddington Homes extends to the contractors employed to carry out any work required at the property.

Let me start by saying that this is the first negative review I am writing via Google reviews.
My experience of Reddington Homes is that they are extremely rude and highly unprofessional!
Kate and myself arranged a viewing on a property, a time that was mutually agreement to us both.
I arrived at the property at the schedule time, and no one was present after waiting 5 minutes. I called the agency, the representative I spoke to said she would investigate why no one was there and call me back. I waited for another 10 minutes, and then I made a follow up phone call. I was told that they don’t have the keys to the property and therefore the viewing would not take place. Why on earth was I not informed earlier on is beyond me when they had the foresight the viewing would not be taking place? I wasted 1.5 hours for my round trip journey and didn’t even receive an apology and I had to chase up my initial phone call, chances are they would have left me waiting there. Totally unacceptable standards and lacking all professional courtesy in my opinion.
