So…after countless phone conversations and even more emails I finally got to meet Dea yesterday for the first time after completing the eight-month long journey of the sale of my property. A sale that should have been straight forward as the property was chain free and empty - ready to make a loving home for its new owners.
The whole process has been a roller coaster ride full of emotions, delays, frustration and challenges to the very end but this is not about me :-).
Understandably the stress got the worse of me and I haven’t been a very easy client especially the last two months. All this time Dea was my rock! She never gave up even when I wanted to and she would give me a pep talk to motivate me or calm me down so I continue going. She has a fantastic way of dealing with people and putting them at ease.
Dea handled all my tantrums brilliantly. She remained professional and patient and I can’t thank her enough for the help and support she has given me. Dea is passionate about her job and cares about her clients. She kept me on the straight and narrow and never let me lose sight of the final goal.
I would like to say to all current and future customers of Reeds Rains Plaistow – if Dea is handling your sale/purchase you are in safe hands and she will get your case over the line no matter what it takes.
And to Reeds Rains – Dea is the best asset your company can wish for, but you probably know this. You should give her a pay rise because no one deserves it more than her.

Really would not recommend this agency. The service begins well and they were friendly to get business but then as soon as you begin, they become passive aggressive, impossible to get hold of, communication gets slow, and basic information requests are rejected. Please beware!

I could give minus stars if I could. Viewed a property through this estate agent roughly around 3 weeks ago now.Decent property so we decided to put an offer ,received an acknowledgement in writing where they stated they were reviewing the offer. It has been 3 weeks since ,no correspondence since , have sent multiple email chasing and still NOTHINGGG, and if you ever decide to call them DO NOT BOTHER, no body ever picks up. This company is shambles!! Buyers and sellers both be aware, their communication is extremely poor it’s actually ridiculous.
Took an afternoon off from work to actually do a viewing, what an absolute waste. Do not ever use this company , bunch of cowboys working who don’t not how to manage their clients. Poor poor poor!

Feel discriminated and unprofessional from the Agent dealing with the Property. I requested for a viewing by requesting online. Received a phone call took all the details and agreed to call back for a viewing. Guess what never received the call back. I called again different agent took details and promised a call back and once again nothing. If the agents want’s the deal to be passed on to their private clients then they should not advertise online just to get the social media exposure and to take customer’s information. Would definitely not be using to source. Very unprofessional

Prompt, professional, and accurate advice. I chose Reeds Rains after being given an unrealistic estimate of my property's value by an online agent who wanted an upfront fee, and being shown concrete evidence for the real value based on comparable properties selling in the area.
Viewings were handled professionally and with care for my partner's safety as she's vulnerable to COVID. Dea was very responsive all throughout the process and gave frank and professional advice. Reeds Rains made sure offers were substantiated so I had confidence about the buyer's sincerity and affordability and ultimately the sale went through with no problems.
I'd definitely recommend an agent like Reeds Rains who are experts in what they do and to steer clear of online agents which want an upfront fee but have no intention of actually helping you sell the property once you've paid.

I would definitely use Reeds again to Let my property. Within 3 weeks of Nicola getting the keys she got several offers from tenants wanting to rent my property. I’m currently abroad so left Nicola to do absolutely everything and she delivered, she made the entire process very smooth for me and even contacted me on many occasions on her days off. I have been a landlord for 25 years and have never come across any lettings manager like Nicola before, she is truly an asset to Reed’s Rains. Thank you Nicola!??

Disappointing and Frustrating Experience with Reed Rain Plaistow
I recently had a very unsatisfactory experience with Reed Rain Plaistow while attempting to purchase a property. The process was fraught with miscommunications and a lack of professionalism that ultimately led to a great deal of frustration.
Initially, when I contacted the agency, I was asked to provide all my personal information and proof of funds. I informed them that my husband would be viewing the property on our behalf, and was advised to have him call directly. However, when he did call, he was told he couldn’t view the property without my details, despite me having already provided them. This initial mix-up should have been a warning sign of the confusion that was to follow.
On the day of the viewing, my husband's appointment was nearly disrupted by a last-minute call to change the time, which was impossible for us due to his work commitments. During the viewing, the agent Greg was uncommunicative and only responded when I directly questioned via video call, despite my husband being present with him.
My real disappointment began during the offer process over the Christmas period. After placing an offer, I received an out-of-office reply from Dea and was instructed to email the main branch. Despite doing so, I received no acknowledgment or update, leading to uncertainty and the need for further follow-ups. I telephoned and spoke to Greg, who sounded like I was a bother for calling to ask if my offer had been received. Once Dea returned, there was some back-and-forth over the offer, and I submitted the figure she suggested, which was eventually declined. I even increased my offer significantly above the asking price, only to be informed later that day that another offer had been accepted. Surely an estate agent would give an option to increase to give the seller the best price. I have since read other reviews on another platform that they have done this to other buyers through this office.
The entire process felt underhanded, leading me to believe that there was a preferred buyer from the start. The lack of transparency and poor communication have left me feeling that Reed Rain Plaistow is not only unprofessional but also dishonest. This experience has been a complete waste of my time and has significantly impacted my view of their business practices.

Don't waste your time and resources with this agency. I was keen on a property advertised, was told viewings had not started yet, been chasing it for days until I was told that "I missed out, but we can help you find what you want". Was lied to, rushed on registering and pushed on looking for something else, insisting on ending the case with the property I was interested in the first place. Clear favoritism for their clients and blocking potential buyers by attracting with false information. Unfortunately this is not the only agency that practice these methods but certainly most unprofessional.

The buyer was not very nice but with the help of Dee and Nichola, we were able to get around things pretty fast.
We got to STC in 2 weeks on the markets and legals etc pushed the sale to 6 weeks. Overall I must say I had a good experience with them and will strongly recommend their service.

She help us make important decisions about the marketing our property at the right price. We got more than we advertised for.
Within 10 days of marketing our property, she was able to get more than 20 viewers to our property. This indicate that she has good organisation skills with many potential house buyers in her data base – good network.
She is very responsiveness and always answer our calls or return our calls within minutes.

I used Reeds Rains Plaistow to buy my flat in Canning Town in 2010, to rent it out from 2014 - 2019, and to sell it in 2020. I've had great experiences with them, especially in regards to the recent sale, which took place under really difficult circumstances.
We listed the property in October and within a week RR had found a buyer. The team corresponded brilliantly, despite the fact that I live in California. They communicated promptly and in a straight forward manner, so I always knew what was going on with the process.
The sale dragged into March because of an issue with the Land Registry caused by a solicitor's error back in 2010, so we exchanged and completed during the Covid-19 crisis.
My deadline to complete was April 3rd and, despite the lockdown, the team helped the sale go through at the very last minute. They went above and beyond to make help make it happen in time.
I highly recommend the team at Plaistow, I've been extremely happy with the service I've received there.

The agency seems to not have a flexible time with house viewing and the estate agent was rude and is lacking of interpersonal skill. We got a bit early for the house viewing(2 mins early) and he rushed to the door and with a rude tone told my Mom to wait outside instead of offering us to wait inside where it is warm. When we finally was viewing the house, he was always on a rush to cover every corner of the house seems odd because it feels like he was trying to hide something that is wrong with the house. Didn't even offer us to take our time to view the property properly.
Sure we got accepted from renting the house but I really think twice when accepting it after experiencing their service. Thank God we found a better property for a cheaper price and better house agency.

We started the process of selling our property during lockdown and were lucky enough to be assigned Greg Allen as our contact/sales negotiator.
Greg was a constant support the whole way through the process. As first time sellers, it was a great comfort to have Greg on hand as he always made time to support us and answer our questions. We found him to be open, friendly, honest and professional throughout the process and would recommend the branch and in particular, Greg, to anyone thinking of buying/selling in the area.
Everyone that we dealt with at the Plaistow branch of Reeds Rains was extremely helpful and we are very happy with the service we received from them. As above, this is particularly true of Greg. In addition to Greg, Steph Hall who previously worked for the company was also amazing. We also dealt with Dea towards the end of the process who was lovely and very helpful.
It’s worth nothing that we had previously been listed with a different estate agents who were pretty useless, something which made the great service we received from Greg and the team really stand out. Highly recommend.

The are two types of estate agents in this world, those who care for only their fee; and those who genuinely care about your sale. Reed Rains of Plaistow, and especially Jon, fall fully into the latter.
From the very beginning they were nothing but professional and helpful. It took one viewing to secure a sale (as they vet potential purchases for those who are actually interested and in a correct place to buy) and they held our hands throughout. Selling a home can be stressful but having genuine people like Jon and Greg on the team who, not only did their job, but went the extra mile each and every time. This is what you want in estate agent - not a flashy website or promises of "a large client base always looking to buy" but a team of people who will go the extra mile for you and who always have your corner.
I'm not going to comment on price (its very good for the industry!) but I can assure anyone looking for an estate agent - you'll be getting a bargain by using Reed Rains. To remove some of the stress and always being on hand to answer any questions you have and to push when things need to be pushed while still being professional - that's what you're paying for. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

What a roller coaster ride my conveyancing process turned out to be..!
4 way chain plus Shared Ownership.. Solicitors not communicating, others in the loop over communicating.. mostly we were all running around in circles for over 6 months - stressed, anxious, angry, frustration, annoyance and a total feeling of hopelessness at the best of times.. but I have to say.. all throughout the Sale and Buy of our property.. Reed Rains were there holding our hands. We had Greg who was always fast and efficient on the phone to discuss matters.. and Jon, who held our unravelling string together with the utmost proficiency and professionalism.. oftentimes, Jon took the brunt of all the frustration but was always always pleasant and steadfast.. remaining cool, calm and collected throughout.. Unprofessional team agency. Don’t act as they wrote in the contract. I had give one month notice of leaving after 6 months and find them new tenants . they accepted them and said they need one more month to prepare the documents, after this another one month and nothing changes.. the contract is still on my name but i’m not living there and my deposit is blocked because they cant do the job. When they need money find you very quickly but when must to refund money nobody could sort it for you. I don’t recommend it at all.

Poor customer service. We rented through this agency. Make sure you know what you signing and read every point. Whenever problems appears in the property or with the landlords etc agency won’t even try to help you. Lazy workers like someone is pushing them to work in the office. My friends have paid £500 to advertise the property and in 1 month 0 views . Comparing with another agency it was 6 views in 1 day. Never pay holding deposit as if you fail ur references check they won’t give you money back 100% !!!

Hands down, the best and most efficient estate agents I've experienced in London. Stephanie and Pete worked tirelessly on my behalf as my solicitors were consistently letting me down and giving me conflicting information, leading to completion delays. Without the help of Steph and Pete emailing and calling them on my behalf I'd still be in the dark with the process.
And it's not just the dynamic duo that were helpful too - branch manager Jon stepped in and pushed the solicitors when needed.
I can't recommend Reeds Rain Plaistow, Stephanie and Pete highly enough; from the very first viewing (of which I'm now sitting in the living room of as I write this review) to picking up the keys they have been nothing short of amazing.

This agent will ruin you if you are buying a property! They are rude and they will always rush every single moment of the sale! We bought a house that was worthy 100k less (marketed for 430k but the real value was 350k)! And when we tried to make surveys to the building(we made 2, a third was needed) the shameless agent (Javed Gunny) threatened us to lose the sale! He didn't let us renegotiate and would chase and rush even twice a day! The house has been sold without chimney breasts removal certificate and the results is that the structure is in danger now as the previous owner didn't put any kind of support to the chimneys. We are now facing big expenses of refurbishment, ending up broken. Also after a year of staying in the property we found a 3 meters Japanese knotweed plant at the back of the fence. Will never advise this agency services to anybody. They are shameless sales people, would never say professionals, not even from far!

Can never get through to them on the phone regarding viewings arranged through email. Poor customer service.
They use the same line for sales and rental. How can tenant and landlord get though to them if they have issues?

Why aren't more agents like this? I bought my first house through the guys at Reeds Rains. From registering my details to collecting the keys they were all so helpful. The recommended their own mortgage advisor who talked me through the whole buying process and also got me a great rate!! A big thank you to Dan and his team for making my purchase so easy, would 100% recommend them over anyone else in the area
