I highly recommend Samuels Estate Agents. I used them when selling my Mothers flat after her death. I did not live locally, so I had to rely on them completely for the sale. Andy, Karen, Sophie and the whole team were extremely helpful, full of sound advice during both the initial marketing of the house and throughout the actual sale. They kept me informed of any viewings they had scheduled and the feedback they had received from each viewing. Once we had received an offer, they gave me good advice on how I should respond, and how best to deal with the buyer's concerns that came up during the sale. They kept me informed of the progress of the sale, following up regularly with the buyer's solicitor, and with the buyer/buyer's family directly on occasions when information was not forthcoming. I always felt that they were working hard for me during the whole process. I also received compliments from the property manager on how pleasant it was to work with the agent showing the flat - not always the case, apparently! I thought that the fee for their services was very fair, and highly recommend them to anyone wishing to sell a property in the Exeter area.

I did my first house sale with Samuels and I could not have picked a better estate agent. From the start they were genuinely professional and friendly. They were always there with advice but never put any pressure on me to follow it. When some issues came up with the sale Samuels worked tirelessly to help resolve them. They were always pretty easy to get in contact with. Special mention to Karen who was absolutely amazing. I can not recommend them enough and if i am purchasing/selling in Exeter again i will definitely be using Samuels.

We have dealt with Samuels twice in the last 10 years (selling and buying). Andy, Karen, Sophie, Cimon, Layla and Heidi (who has now retired) have all been amazing and went the extra mile to support/mediate for us when things got tougher towards the end of our sale. It is the worst agent l have dealt with in the last 20 years in the Exeter. They didn't check with the emails, misinformed, called for the out dated response. Apart from Sophie, she is a only lovely lady. We will never let them deal with our properties.
We were the first one to view and offered the asking price, the vendor agreed our offer but the agent used the offer as bait to attract higher prices. We don't need any wishes or blessings from Samuels as we bought 2 properties already. We are now used to skip all listing from Samuels when browsing the website. What a waste of time and energy with them! Dodge people dodgy handling!

I purchased my flat through Samuels 8 years ago and they were always so professional, helpful and friendly. They supported me with my journey and were excellent from start to finish. Fast forward to now and I was moving on and looking for a new home. I had a couple of viewings with Samuels and to me, they are far superior to a number of agents in the city. They actually respond to my emails, they arrange viewings at their earliest opportunity and they actually listen to the requirements of their client. They are always so friendly and will go above and beyond where possible. Their customer service is excellent. Heidi and Karen should get a special shout out for their hard work and support. Thank you so much to you all. I wish you every success in the future. I have no doubt that if I need to sell a home again, I will wholeheartedly come to you and will recommend you to all of my friends.

I have used Samuels twice in the last 3 years. I wouldnt go anywhere else. I had problems with both my sale and purchase and all the team at Samuels, specially Heidi and Cimon showed compassion, tenacity and total professionalism in moving the chain forward and doing everything in their power to resolve things.

The knowledgeable, helpful staff guided us sympathetically through the marketing and sales of two very different but equally unusual properties belonging to my late uncle.
They were polite and friendly not only to us,the vendors, but also to potemtial buyers. All the viewings were conducted with enthusiasm and professionalism. Sales negotiations and liaisons with legal teams on both sides were drawn to a close with politeness and at all times a fair regard to both seller and buyer. Their regular updates reporting progress throughout the process was very reassuring and helpful. Quite frankly, Samuels Estate Agents went above, beyond and exceeded all expectations. I was also involved with the property that a previous reviewer was extremely critical of. Unfortunately she is incorrect in her criticism of Samuels, who from my point of view were very professional. I was kept informed of all viewings and any offers subsequently received. We accepted the highest offer after closed bids were requested. Therefore an agent acting exactly as they should.

I recently sold my property in Exminster and chose Samuels as the estate agent, i cannot speak highly enough of how they looked after us, nothing was too much trouble, they took fabulous pictures of the property and advertised it well, we had several appointments to view the property which they showed clients around and we always received a follow up call with feedback. The house sold for virtually the asking price, we could not have been happier. If you are looking for a professional estate agent, excellent service and good value for money look no further than Samuels.

These agents are crooks. They are dishonest, unscrupulous, unprofessional, unethical and give estate agents the rotten name they have. My advise is avoid, avoid and avoid. If you are planning to sell a house with them - be warned they choose what offers to put to the vendor. If buying - avoid. These agents actively encourage gazumping and then attempt to justify their actions. Best avoided.
