I couldn't have asked for a better experience with Savills--both with Sarah in lettings and Mathew in property management. We were moving internationally, and Savills was one of the only letting agencies that would work with us before we arrived. In fact, they were able to verify our identities in a US branch, which expedited the whole process. The property is just what we expected. There was a minor issue with a toilet and their had workers out immediately. Definitely a pleased customer here.

Can only speak for my experience with the lettings side as I have had no dealings with sales. Savills talks a big game, charges even bigger fees and neither met expectations.
The team were perfectly polite, but that’s pretty much where the positive experience ended. For a start, the brochure that the agent produced was astonishingly poor; the photographer was great, but I spent two hours correcting the wording, grammar, spelling and punctuation! This is what the client pays an agent for …
Communication was initially very limited; I requested callbacks that never came, though admittedly this improved (with prompting). The main agent showing my property failed to arrange an initial viewing for me to show the property to them. How can you authentically show a property to a viewer when you don’t know a thing about it yourself?
Feedback from viewings was extremely scant. Whilst an (one!) offer was received during the time Savills had the property, this didn’t meet the requirements for a tenant that I had expressed at the outset.
Sorry to say that so many basic things were missed and I expected much better from Savills.

Omer did a stellar job throughout the sales process. He was very proactive, efficient, and had all the information, facts and nuances of the property that we were viewing. Omer organized timely viewings and came prepared with information to hand.
During the sales process he liaised with multiple parties to ensure completion was done on time and dealt with any blockers in a very prompt proactive manner. Even after the sales, he continues to help us with any further information on the property.
Omer's great work ethics, professionalism has definitely enhanced our impression about Savills as a company.

Worst experience I have every had with an estate agent. Asked them to value a property arranged a day and time. I waited one hour over the agreed time but the agent didn't show up. Called the Savills office and they apologised. He turned up the next day and said he would send me the valuation within 24 to 48 hours. A week later I call his office but he then refused to tell me his valuation, very bizarre.

Bought through Savills and that was fine. Ian who does the viewings is very helpful and Sophia in the office was great too.
THEN we rented the flat out with Savills which we wont be doing again.
Poor service from multiple people in the run up to the start of the tenancy and this continues now. The cost for services they quoted were extortionate for the work that needed to be done, ie cleaning and some odd jobs.
The service has not improved much now the tenant has moved in with maintenance jobs not being sorted promptly and rent not being paid across in a timely manner.
Im sure there are far better letting agents in Cheltenham and wouldnt recommend Savills because of their name.

We have ben so pleased with the team at Savills Cheltenham. They were s helpful, as we had a very unusual situation, selling a house for a friend, but there was so much excellent local knowledge, but also a great deal of help as we were managing it remotely from Scotland.
Both Raph and Chris were amazing, and Raph’s local knowledge helped us secure the whole deal finally, which had been a bit on and off, but finally went ahead. The waiting was in no way to do with Savills, and indeed on the contrary = they were such a great help.

Just completed on my property with Savills Cheltenham. Rapport was built up quickly with Christian & Becky. It was a tricky property to gauge a selling price for as it had never been sold in its life before & no like for like comparable, but Christian came up with a good strategy & it went really well, lots of viewings booked and we ended up with an enviable selling position to have 8 serious offers to choose our buyer from (all well above the 'offers in excess of' price). It was a probate sale so emotional to let go of the family home but Christian & Becky were always on hand, giving good advice, recommendations, suggestions, encouragement & support throughout the process. I'd originally asked 3 different estate agents (including Savills) for valuations to go through probate and when I was finally ready to market the property I chose Savills for various reasons over the other two that were in the running, and I feel I made the right choice & we ended up with a good result.

Savills came highly recommended as the only agents in Cheltenham that were worth dealing with. That was my experience as I did visit the other agents and was left less than impressed. Not nice........
How different at Savills. The Principal, Chris Jarrett, who was looking after the vendor looked after her so well with complete consideration for her situation, not only looking after her financial interests, but her well being too. He was enormously kind to me too and did all he could to make my purchase as happy a one as he could. Needed all the moral support I could get moving back to the UK after 46 years, on my own, and knowing nothing of prevailing conditions.
Chris's staff, particularly Sheila, his office manager, were utterly charming and couldnt have been more helpful in a practical sense assisting me with necessary paperwork. She has even offered to help me shop for all those basic items I will not be bringing from Australia!
All in all a throughly pleasant experience dealing with Savills. Doubt I would have received any of the above from the other agents I interviewed.
