Like others, I first dealt with Charlotte Morgan, who was my primary point of contact for paperwork and questions prior to signing the agreement, after which Nikki Gardner, my property manager, took the reins and has been liaising between me and the landlord. Both she and Charlotte have always responded to my e-mails promptly and have also called me in more urgent cases. There have been quite a lot of issues with the property, but Nikki has never faltered in doing her best to get them resolved. All communication with Prospect's Wokingham office has bees both friendly and professional and, based on this experience, I can recommend them without reservation.

Then the property manager Nikki Gardner took over and has been assisting me in multiple other ways, particularly in terms of updating the rental agreement to suit my circumstances and needs, and she also helped me communicate with the landlord. She has been really prompt in replying to emails, and has generally helped to resolve any issues quite quickly. I would recommend both!

Paid a holding deposit on a property but didn’t sign a contract. Spoke to Ollie Payne who confirmed I would receive this deposit back as we didn’t sign a contract however it’s been over 6 weeks and I have still not received this despite numerous phone calls. Have given my bank details to numerous people on the phone with prospect and have been waiting on an email from ‘Chloe’ for weeks. Very very disappointed as I was expecting Prospect to be a reputable agency however would not recommend this to anybody.

We rented a property through Prospect (Winnersh) for 2.5yrs and obviously as a tenant you have no say in who manages your property. However I am also a landlady of 3 other properties so could also observe from the other side and felt that for the amount of money our landlord was paying them each month they did very little. We had endless problems with heating and plumbing and were often just told “phone British Gas yourselves”. For the last SIX MONTHS of our tenancy the toilet in our en-suite did not flush properly and the saga trying to get it repaired was an absolute joke. However when you are paying £30k a year in rent I think the least you can expect is a flushing toilet.
On our last inspection a member of the sales team also turned up completely un-announced and told me “he was just observing as he was interested in the knowing what the rental team did”. We suspected at the time he was actually valuing the property, so no surprise when we were told a few weeks later that we were having to move out because the landlord was selling. However the fact that this man came into our home un-invited and un-announced and lied to my face shows total lack of honest and integrity.
We have now been left the property for two months, we looked after it well and left it better than we found it. We know the final check up inspection was done weeks ago but Prospect are ignoring all our communication in relation to the return of our deposit, we have called and left voicemails, and emailed about it - yet zero response whilst our deposit still sits in their bank account!!!
We are now renting through Sears and the improvement in service, response and communication is unbelievable. They are 100% better.
Sorry but can’t recommend Prospect at all, lack of communication & service, total lack of integrity from the sales department, and their lack of honesty continues in now withholding the return of our deposit with absolutely no reason or communication.

I honestly cannot believe Prospects agency are refusing to even arrange a viewing for me because I will be studying and also moving in with 2 children who are not babies!
I have contacted all 3 Wokingham, Bracknell and Camberley branches as these are the areas close to my university. Even though I own my current property and have a guarantor to provide, I can also afford to pay 6 months rent upfront.
But no, I was refused a viewing by the Camberley branch because I have children and was even told by an agent in the Bracknell branch that he doesn't think they can 'legally' rent a property to me because I'm a student! That was after grilling me about the fact that I have children. How absurd is that? Is it now a crime to rent apartments to students with children in the UK???
For goodness sake, I am a mature student studying for a Post Graduate degree with 15 years professional work experience under my belt! I am just livid thinking about the whole scenario!
I never knew discrimination against student-parents was even a thing that exist. But here you go, this is the 21st century, having children and desiring to further your education is not fashionable.
If you are a student with children, save your time and not bother with this agency.

It's never easy buying property but it's even tougher when the country is in lockdown. However, from day one, when the full team was working, they were extremely responsive and helpful. Since the team were furloughed we have worked with the Branch Manager, Daniel White, and he has professionally helped us through the process despite being on his own. Extremely Poor communication and custom service. The service we received when renting with Prospect Wokingham branch was appalling & sadly we would not recommend Prospect to anyone. Too many mistakes were made, our messages were ignored, customer service was very poor and in general the staff we dealt with were unreasonable in their requests, inconsiderate to our circumstances which as a result made the whole process of moving unpleasant, stressful and very costly. It has been a nightmare to deal with Prospect, especially Julie J and Chloe H from the day we gave our notice and we would definitely not recommend the company nor rent a property through Prospect ever again.

I've just sold my house with Prospect, and have had a great experience! The communication between all parties was helped a great deal by the team, and really sped up the process, and ensured an 11 property chain went through with barely a hitch!

Just wanted to drop a note to say a huge thank you to Dan and his team, but notably Matt and Tracey in particular for helping complete the sale of my house.
Prospect took over responsibilities from another local estate in Wokingham, who in 4 1/2 months hadn't found me a single buyer. Within a few weeks of changing Prospect had managed to get three offers.
Took a long while to get to completion due to some delays from the buyers chain, but the team were always on hand to answer my queries and chase where necessary.

I was initially very impressed with how polite and professional Daniel White (branch manager) from Prospect came across that i decided to let them market my property for me.
From the start I made it very clear to Prospect that due to the nature of my business I was not always able to accept short notice or next day viewings which soon became a big inconvenience to Prospect and I was made to feel like I was being unreasonable and uncooperative when I could not make every appointment that suited them.
On emailing notice of termination of my contract with Prospect, Daniel White's reply was both very blunt and rude accusing me that I had not allowed them "free access" to my home. I'm not sure where he got this notion from but "free access" to my home was never an option and never suggested by me !!
Daniel White you initially came across as being very polite and professional but you now have shown your true colours.
I think the role of "branch manager" is not quite up your street yet but keep working on it !!

I just wanted to say a big well done to you and your team.
Not only did you manage to not sell a house, you then annoyed your customer who then didn’t want to use your services, but you weren’t finished there.
Then by trying to gain commission for the sale to a different estate agent you now managed to incredibly annoy myself and my wife by stopping our sale as the customer doesn’t want to go forward with us. And what did you end up with??? F##k all!!! except 2 very disgruntled potential customers as we are now looking for another house.
So again especially to management who clearly are useless, thank-you for being so stupid and shortsighted
I can’t wait to tell whoever will listen about the estate agent reinforcing their stereotypes about being cockroaches and do anything for money.

Just had to write a review of my recent experience of dealing with Lloyd Richardson from Prospect in Wokingham. The man was nothing short of perfect - he dealt with all my enquiries promptly and efficiently, maintained a sense of humour , even in the face of adversity (having to deal with several of my strops and near breakdowns at the thought of Wokingham property prices!) and most importantly, he found me a great place to live. I have no words to describe how brilliant Prospect Wokingham are. I have bought and sold 4 times over the past few years, so have experienced a fair share of estate agents. Without a doubt, Prospect are head and shoulders above any I've experienced. I just sold a property through them - right from the first minute of instructing, they were absolutely amazing. Viewings were arranged literally within minutes of instruction, and my home was under offer just days after it went onto the market. They are honest, genuine, incredibly driven and motivated, and go above and beyond at very point. Prospect Estate Agents have provided my partner and I with EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. This has allowed us to relocate to the Wokingham Area hassle free. Our viewing with the estate agent, Chase Jacobs, was faultless. Chase proved to be an excellent communicator prior to and during the viewing, very honest, friendly, and very knowledgeable of the property and the surrounding area.
The referencing and contract process was straight forward, and help was always available at every step of way. We moved in during a Bank Holiday Weekend. The check in process and inventory was completed thoroughly, informatively, and professionally, despite this being an extremely busy period for the Estate Agents. Note that all documents at this stage are promptly provided to the tenant(s) electronically (emailed) for your own personal records.
Prior to moving into the property, all of the requested alterations had been made, including redecorating several rooms. Since moving in, we have discover very minor issues including a few of the interior doors not closing smoothly. However, this has not been an issue as the Property Manager (Gemma Worrall) arranged for the appropriate contractors to visit the property within 48 hours of being informed of the very minor issues. Therefore, I also praise the efficiency of the Property Management services that Prospect offer.

Prospect was an outstanding help! After being told that our rented house was being sold and time was of the essence to find a new home for my family of 5, Tristan was the one who made that happen. Dealing with roughly 5 different agencies, Tristan was the only one who checked in at least once a week during my search (and more when he had properties to offer). He made the experience feel personable, which I feel is quite important during a time of uncomfortable change.

I was looking for a flat to rent. I saw the advert online and decided to call Prospect. I spoke to Tristan and as the call progressed I knew that he was a person I could trust. He was very helpful and answered all my questions in detail. Tristan also informed me about three other flats that matched my requirements. He was very honest throughout the process. I forgot to let Tristan know that I wanted a break clause on my contract. He spoke to the Landlord again to get that agreed despite the fact that I had made an offer on the flat already without the break clause. Through the whole process Tristan and his team were very helpful and my house move went really well. I am really pleased with the service I was provided and I highly recommend Prospect.
