The review below is spreading false information about Simon Blyth (Kirkburton), Fiona and her team.
We are the sellers who Mr Green purchased from and we could not have been happier with Fiona taking charge of our sale. Fiona is very attentive, extremely professional and a caring individual who will do her very best to meet everyone's needs whilst getting the sale done as efficiently as possible.
We honestly believe if we had appointed another estate agent our sale would not have gone through as the hard work she put in was second to none. Fiona is an asset to Simon Blyth and we cannot thank her enough for everything she has done.

Well, where do we start. What a nightmare.
If you fancy a very stressful, prolonged, agonising house move, pick Fiona from Simon blyth. She is the most arrogant and difficult estate agent I have ever come across. We were purchasing a house which she was representing and she done nothing but moan about being the point of contract for her vendors. I’ve never had such a stressful move and Fiona done nothing to help. Every time I contacted her to chase her vendors or vendors solicitors it was a problem and a massive inconvenience to her, even though it was her vendors holding the whole sale up. Fiona had no interest in pushing the sale through promptly at all. It got to the point where she wouldn’t even talk to me or my solicitors, her office staff Chloe and grace just palmed me off and I never got a call back.
What ever you do avoid this cowboy outfit unless you love stress. I feel sorry for the vendors who had to pay them.

What an amazing experience we have just had. The sales manager Fiona is phenomenal. We couldn’t have expected anymore from her from start to finish. We had an international deadline for property completion and Fiona made sure that we met it. Despite a complex chain she was dogged in her determination to unpick and guide it to its conclusion. I am totally amazed at the level of detail Fiona is prepared to go to! The best estate agents ever in my opinion.

If you want to sell your much loved home to maximum advantage then it is best if you use personable professionals who know the market better than anyone else; can present your property better than anyone else; achieve the best value-proposition better than anyone else; and organise all the parties to the transaction to achieve a speedy completion better than anyone else. I know this because we did. We were confident that we would the moment we walked into Simon Blyth Kirkburton Branch and met with the team led by Branch Manager Fiona. I recommend that you do the same if you also want maximum advantage.

We selected Simon Blyth as our agents and they really did come through for us. We received an offer on our property in 10 days and then found ourselves in a rather long and tricky chain! Quite frankly the tenacity of Fiona Campbell is the reason we are in our new home at last, she was an absolute asset to the process and went above and beyond to keep everything going under difficult circumstances. Simon Blyth were acting for a lady we were purchasing from. Has Heidi not been so accommodating and chased all aspects of our sale I doubt we would have ever completed. Nothing was too much trouble and there is only one estate agent I will be giving any business to in the future. I wish my agent had been so proactive. Recommended without hesitation!

Have been complaining for 7 months about the advertising signs not being removed after a sale. They are now blowing around the countryside as plastic litter on my property as they have smashed to bits in the wind. Totally incompetent at basic things (Kirkburton office).

Phoned on Monday 20th July after not recieving a reply to my email requesting viewing a property. Was told office work remotely even more so after an invasion of bluebottles in the office. Was told I would be phoned back regarding making an appointment for a viewing
It's now Friday 24th July and Ive not heard a thing!! I wouldn't be happy if I was selling my property through these estate agents and lost the opportunity of a sale.

Avoid at all costs. Can't comment on service provided further than the valuation we requested, as the agent did not turn up to the appointment! Did not receive promised confirmation email after appointment booked either. When contacted to find out if an agent was going to attend I was told the appointment had been put in the 'wrong diary'?? 'Simon Blyth' -should he exist (!) - needs to get back to the floor judging by the reviews I've read, and try to instil some professionalism. Unfortunately, google reviews don't allow a zero star rating, so I'm awarding a poultry one star. Save your time and money, there are far more efficient, professional Estate Agents out there. The choice is yours...

Avoid. Rang up on Tuesday to book a viewing for a property we liked the look of, booking was made no problem and was told I would receive an e-mail to confirm booking. No e-mail so e-mailed Thursday to ensure it was still going ahead, was told yes still going ahead and would re-send e-mail....still no e-mail confirmation. The viewing was at 4 and me and my partner had both booked the afternoon off work to go, since I didn't receive a confirmation e-mail to confirm what actual house number it is - my partner rang as we were sat in the car about to set off. The house was gone! It's not the fact the house had gone, that is out of my control. But why on earth did it take us having to ring to ask for the house number as we were in the car, for us to be told it was gone?! Absolutely ridiculous, no real apology and not a care in the world. If we hadn't of rang we would have shown up at the vendors house (which is 40 minutes away) to be told that. Avoid at costs - and they talk about time wasters being customers!

Simon Blyth Kirkburton sold both my and my parents house earlier this year. They were excellent from start to finish. Joe was very knowledgeable when he came to value the houses and talk us through the process. Fiona and her team in the office were excellent from start to finish and secured a quick sale on both properties. Fiona's negotiating skills are second to none. We would recommend them and would use them again for future house sales/purchases.

Very disappointing experience with this agent. Sent in a variety of requests to view via Rightmove and on the market. The service I received from all the other agents was far better than this one. Received an email from Fiona in the office asking me if I wanted to view it. I replied immediately with days and times for nothing. I heard nothing for 5 days, so I followed it up with another email and again I heard nothing.
Being fed up by this stage, I complained about the service on Facebook and miraculously people started communicating with me!
I am now dealing with this matter as a complaint and waiting for Simon Blyth to respond to my messages to him.
During the course of the complaint, I have been told that I didn’t request a viewing originally, although nobody will show me a copy of the lead information They received from me.
Furthermore Fiona told me that she rang me after my email, but there is no record of her call and she left no email.
Heidi the Branch manager when dealing with my complaint told me ´ I am starting to question just how serious you are about viewing this property? “
Unbelievable, it was her employee who didn’t deal with my request for viewing, her employee who refused to reply to my two emails, her employee who despite receiving an email from me offering days and times for viewings, said she rang me, left no message and left no record of a call! And after all that, I’m the person not interested !
You are paying commission for these agents to sell your property and yet when a cash buyer wants to view a property no one bothers to arrange it and then blames the client.

would not recommend, my partner and I woke up at 7am after I had finished work at 4am to travel to see a house in kirkburton we travelled from leeds as the triathalon was on this journey tool longer that expected (a taxi and a train to stocksmoor and a 30 min walk to the property) now we got to the property with 5 mins to spare and got a phone call off the agent saying he was running a little late only to then get another call off another lady saying they had to cancel as they didn't have the keys... now surely you would know if you had the keys prior to the viewing say 9 o'clock in the morning before we had left leeds?? absolute joke and a waste of my time and money NEVER using this joke of an estate agents again
