We recently purchased our new home, through Simon Blyth Estate Agents in Penistone, and our experience was fantastic from start to finish. Charlotte and Maria were incredibly professional, helpful, and friendly throughout the entire process.
They went above and beyond to ensure the sale was completed before Christmas, which we truly appreciated. They were also amazing with our young son, making the whole experience even more enjoyable for our family.
From answering our many questions to liaising with all parties involved, they made what could have been a stressful experience feel seamless. Communication was always clear and timely, which we really valued.

Any questions we had were promptly answered, and no request was ever too much trouble.
Maria’s positivity and encouragement were invaluable, especially during moments of uncertainty about whether our offer would be accepted or our house would sell. Her support kept us motivated and excited every step of the way.

Excellent service from the Simon Blyth Penistone office. Both Maria and Charlotte were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Maria was particularly "dogged" in pressurising our solicitors to complete in the shortest possible time.

Although the initial value of our property was probably too high, which would seem to be the norm for this company, we did eventually sell for considerably lower price. However, Charlotte and Maria at the Penistone office were very helpful and kept us well informed throughout the process, I can't thank them enough.

Offered to pay the rent for the term up front and wanted to negotiate, 'Louise' refused to pass this information on to the landlord of a property that was sat empty for 45 days and also refused to put another colleague on the phone. She also refused to tell me how I could speak to a manager and gave me a false name of Anna. This was later confirmed to be Louise. I can't imagine any landlords who would be happy with offers of guaranteed rent not being passed onto them.

I found Simon Blyth very easy to buy a property from. They were easy to contact and whenever I needed something from the sellers, or needed to pass something on to them (whether it be making an offer or helping speed up the conveyancing process) they were very quick in contacting them and providing me with an update.
I mostly spoke and worked with Grace who was very friendly and helpful. She quickly sorted everything needed, provided clarification at the beginning on things I wasn't sure of and made the nail biting moments of purchasing my first home a lot easier and less stressful!
