Slater Hogg & Howison Cumbernauld recently helped me to sell my home and the whole team were brilliant! Karen and Ross in particular. They were incredibly helpful, supportive and knowledgable. Our first buyers actually pulled out at the last minute creating a whole load of stress for my partner and I! But Slater Hogg were straight back onto the market and we had another buyer lined up in a matter of days! In the end we sold very quickly and at a higher price than expected. We also went with the Slater Hogg Mortgage adviser Craig who was also amazing. Craig took us through the whole Mortgage process, explaining everything we needed to know and got us the best deal. Well, where to begin. They were two weeks late on getting the photos done as no one told our contact in Slater Hogg that we had given the keys in. Then the photos were late going on the website. The home report said the roof had been patched and need a new roof, when it didn't and we were told not to worry about that. It wouldn't really make a difference anyway. We were told it didn't matter if we took the white goods out. But it did. The sign they put up outside faced the wrong way so no one could see it. We had to fix that ourselves. We were told they would tell us when someone would be viewing the property, but they didn't tell us. The feedback they gave us was incorrect, but we didn't find this out until 7 months later and a lady who viewed the house earlier, thankfully, decided to view it again. Again Slater Hogg didn't tell us she had viewed it for nearly two weeks later. But their feedback was that it was too small. Until pressed, they actually looked it up and told us what she really said. That allowed us to sort a problem that held back the buyer from buying 7months ago. When we spoke to the buyer she told us she informed them of that issue the first time. So we could have sold the house 7 months earlier. This really annoyed us. Slater Hogg were supposed to do new pictures but they only did one and that took them several weeks. Now we have someone to buy the property but Slater Hogg have failed to contact us for 2 months. All the while we are losing money hand over fist on insurance, council tax and electricity for a property that should have been sold 7 months ago. And their agents who show the properties don't know the answers to any questions posed by potential buyers. And their fees are no where near worth it. So, would we recommend them? No. No, we would not. And yes. We have commenced complaint proceedings against them.... Read more

Having met many local estate agents I can say that I highly recommend the team here, the help & advise from the office during my initial walk in meeting was very honest and helpful, they were excellent in organising approximately 7 viewings very efficiently in one afternoon, and even showing me around each one.
