Just to make it aware these two reviews are made by the same couple who tried to rent a property through Joe Raymond Estates . They made an offer in April then disappeared then reappeared in May and finally placed a HOLDING DEPOSIT . However 5 days later they emailed me and told me they wanted to pull out because they thought the kitchen and bathrooms were dated and in any case found another property and so had forfeited their holding deposit as per receipt clause and furthermore did not supply satisfactory references. Since then they have tried harassing me with 49 texts on one day alone as well as emails and threats of blogs and more....Police were informed and dealing with.... Read more

BEWARE! He made promises, took my money then disappeared! Everytime I call him, he hears my voice and hangs up. He took my money promising me some work would be done on a new flat that I wanted. Then last minute told me it wouldn't be done. (I have the terms in writing on an email) I told him I couldn't take the flat with it looking so poo but if he did the agreed work I would take it still as agreed. He then disappeared stopped answering any calls or emails. I told him I would need the money back for a new flat because he wasn't responding about completing the work. Finally he replyed to an email saying because I pulled out of the flat I can't have my money back. I DIDN'T PULL OUT I JUST WANTED DONE WHAT HE HAD AGREED AND I WOULD HAVE TAKEN IT! He still refuses to see me or talk to me, I can't believe he has just stolen my money and will not give it back, hes old enough to be my granddad and does not even care that he's stealing from me! Can't afford it! Isn't right! I just hope this man can be stopped! And encourage anyone else he has done this to to warn others as I am. :(... Read more
