I’ve recently bought a studio in central London and I had the best experience with them.
From the visit till completion I’ve always had someone to talk to, they’re super responsive and always of good advice. I felt really reassured and taken care of.
It was a total team work too.
All started with Fraser who made the initial visit and guide me through for process and then Seth got along the way.
Eventually Isaiah and Beckie at the end helped to complete.
All incredibly helpful and really present at every steps, the move from one team member to another was also really fluid and well handled.
Would definitely recommend !

As a property owner, I've had a very bad experience renting through a different agency in this area (I was lucky with the tenants, but very unlucky with the agency), so I needed to find an alternative after the tenancy contract was over. After speaking to a few agents, I settled on SA as they were the most responsive and just came across as good people. They were very professional and helpful throughout the process. Sam Humphreys, who I spoke to mostly, is extremely responsive, went above and beyond to help me with finding new tenants and organising some last-minute fixes needed ahead of the tenancy. I couldn't be happier with my new agent.

I've used Stirling Ackroyd to let my Clerkenwell flat since 2020, having switched from my previous agent, who had become indifferent. 3 years in I'm still happy with them. They have been more proactive than my last agent, both at recruiting me as a landlord and finding tenants each year. Voids have been minimised, and the guidance I received through the pandemic and at each renewal was always collaborative and realistic, rather than what I would perhaps have liked to hear. Everyone I've dealt with at St. John St. has been professional, from lettings managers to move coordinators. The Lettings Director who handled the renewal this year stands out in particular. Richard Mackarel knows what he's doing, but his calm, open and personable manner was refreshing and impressed me most. At the end of the day its about people finding somewhere to live, not bricks and clicks.

Several people were involved from the viewing to the completion, but we were well covered and handled smoothly while someone was on a holiday.
All of them were very helpful and keep their eyes on the progress.
Seth Branum in particular looked after us very well .
It was a difficult situation as the seller was overseas and the deadline for completion was short due to a stamp duty holiday.
He worked hard for both parties and was able to meet the deadline.

I have received the most professional and responsive service from Rafael Zampieri of Stirling Ackroyd. I would highly recommend renting a flat through Stirling Ackroyd Estate Agents.
Right after my enquiries on a property listed on Rightmove, he contacted me promptly and sent me walkthrough videos of the properties available. He has been very patient to wait for my reply. And when I asked for viewing, we were able to arrange one immediately on the same day. Any questions I asked, he was able to pass it onto the landlord and the current tenant immediately. His efficiency and superb communication skills helped me successfully fill in an offer that the landlord agreed on the same day.
This is the most efficient and stress-free renting process that I have ever experienced!

Dealt with Rafael Zampieri on a apartment let, and couldn’t have asked for a better service.
In difficult times for all landlords he managed to secure a tenant within 5 days, and it was completed 2 days later.
Solid account management, and attention to detail are the qualities I look for in agents, while being responsive to phone calls, and not leaving it 24 hours before calling back.
Nothing was to much trouble for Rafael, and I can’t praise him highly enough.
Stirling’s weren’t the only company I engaged for my let, but they out shone the rest.

While I found the admin at this branch very helpful in setting things up in my new flat, unfortunately I found the agent Nick Mott ignored my reasonable requests regarding the flat, which I had, in order that I could more easily keep the flat clean for the landlord. Furthermore, this agent twisted the facts to suit himself and the landlord and duped me. Essentially, my experience is that this company only cares about the landlord and the tenant's payments, but has no concern for the tenant.

Tenant beware - unfortunately after a decent lettings process with Melissa, the move-in and management since have been terrible. There were a number of issues upon move-in with no response from the company including regarding statutory obligations (appliances not working, pest problems, unsanitary conditions, mould), with only a "we are understaffed due to COVID". This is ridiculous given managed lettings is the only part of the company with guaranteed recurring income.
Just as one example, I have not been able to sleep a single night and have resorted to sleeping in the lounge due to a loud, broken fan in the bedroom. It took 1.5 weeks before Stirling Ackryod even acknowledged this and Sarah finally scheduled an engineer visit. Now the day before the visit when I called the contractor to confirm (after 4 emails asking for the contractor details), I have been told the appointment was never made.

Last summer I was looking for an apartment near Old Street. Considering I was going to live by myself for the first time ever I was quite stressed out about the whole flat hunting&moving in experience.
Stirling Ackroyd was one of the very few agencies that wrote back to me very quickly and put me in contact with Emlyn who showed me two available flats. Neither of them really appealed to me, so he suggested a third one. He was patient and responsive from the start and it didn’t take him long to realise what I was looking for. The moment I stepped into that flat I knew that there was where I wanted to move right away and I can only thank him for presenting it to me. Throughout the tenancy, he’s helped me whenever I needed something, always easy to reach&communicate with and a very pleasant and friendly guy.
I definitely recommend him and Stirling Ackroyd and will use their services again in the future.
