Met a wonderful chap named Daniel who was utterly phenomenal to both me an my mum.
For context, we jumped into the London flat market at one of the worst possible times in the year, so we were frantically moving between agencies trying to secure a place. Daniel was quick to show us our options and was incredibly patient whilst we inundated him with many (probably frustrating) questions. Additionally, even though I was the only one moving into London, he patiently entertained any concerns my mum had about the properties and was fully transparent about safety, a topic she was particularly interested in.
For anyone new to the area, I cannot recommend Daniel enough.

In a subdued market, Foxtons' model does give them the edge over their less proactive peers. Recommend Greg Nickson in particular, who can be relied upon to get a sale done within agreed parameters.

Very poor experience with Foxtons when I rented a property through them.
Firstly, they showed me the property together with another customer (I've never had another agent do this before) and then told us both at the end of the viewing that we wouldn't have an opportunity to negotiate and should only submit our best and final offers. The balance of power today is already in the renter's hands but this is crazy.
Secondly, when we agreed our move in date, Foxtons informed me that the previous tenant didn't clean the property so we'd only be getting access at 8pm on the first day (despite paying rent for that day). We'd already booked out moving van and taken a full day off work to move. We ended up sitting outside our flat with all our positions in boxes for over 2 hours waiting for the flat to vacate.
Thirdly, there were many issues with the flat. Foxtons agreed with the owner to act as our property manager (presumably earning a substantial fee from the owner) so they were responsible for fixing things. No surprise they took MONTHS to address any of our concerns including fixing the front door lock, taking all the previous tenant's old belongings, and fixing broken light fixtures in several rooms. Several times we had to go to the office in person to get things addressed.
The staff was very unhelpful and I highly recommend you do NOT use them, as a tenant, homeowner, or someone searching for a property.

Very impressed with the rental experience via Matt Bird at the Clerkenwell office. During our search, we messaged out of hours and he responded very quickly. He didn’t push properties at us, rather he made good use of our little time, he didn’t just show up with keys, but with answers to questions and within our parameters he thought out of the box in terms of what to show us.

I've been there several times to rent a flat the branch is run by a team of expert people very friendly and welcoming they will help you in whatever you need either to rent or buy real estate. When someone mentions Foxtons to me, the hairs on my neck automatically raise and I suddenly get an image of a young, snotty nosed, arrogant, pushy sales person! Lets face it this company probably had the worst reputation in the industry. I hated dealing with them, until now.
Stephanos Choriatoppilos a member of their team has genuinely restore my faith in the company. His warm hearted authentic approach, along with his gentle directness and extensive knowledge about the properties I was viewing, as well as the area I was buying in was a welcomed relief.

Our purchase wasn't easy for various reasons but Greg recognized what everyone needed, and held the different parties and their interests together well. Four stars rather than five because dealing with Foxtons meant we got some other annoying and intrusive sales callers from their head office, who had to be told firmly to stay away. But Greg and the Clerkenwell office were good to deal with.

Foxton overall is a very professional agency. I had a wonderful experience looking for properties with them. In mid-Oct and Nov last year, it was really hard to find a flat in London, especially with the ease of the lockdown. I have tried some agencies and I did not feel comfortable when they try to sell me long term while not listening to my search criteria. I wanted to find one agent who can listen to me and understand me.
Carmine Simone in the Foxton (I think W2, don’t remember) contacted me but he knew the area I was looking for what not within his area. He recommended my contact to his colleagues in the city. Then I received a call from Jon Hanson.
Jon Hason in the Clerkenwell office was exceptionally helpful. He is very professional. We had a quick call on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning I got a viewing and the same day afternoon I sent the offer and it was accepted. He stood from my point and helped the success of the property search. It is super-efficient. For an office worker, who does not want a property agent with the right recommendation and efficient searching process? I highly recommended him.

My partner and I are working during the week, and needed to have viewings at very short notice. We were under lot of stress with time and budget especially in this area.
Amongst other agencies, we got in touch with Foxtons and one of their agents Sadia, arranged 7 viewings in a very short period. This was a great relief and we were able to make the most of the time we could take off.
My experience was that the agent works long hours, and are dedicated not just to arrange viewings - but add value by understanding our priorities and thinking out of the box for solutions. The agent was able to show us viewings at quite unsociable hours, and demonstrated great rapport with the tenants, being tactful and understanding.
Contacting other agents from different agencies, I could see a stark difference in professionalism and the go-get-it attitude.
I'd probably seek out Sadia for my next property move.

I had a great buying experience with Tyrone from the Clerkenwell branch. He filtered all properties for me and kept refining the search until he found the most suitable one. He was always positive, honest, available and happy to take me for a viewing.
One thing to be aware of, however, that agents from other branches start calling you and ask the same questions again and again. The extra attention could be a good thing, I guess, but it became little annoying when it was the fifth time.

She is reliable, professional, charming, easy to talk to, organised and very tenacious. Which is displayed by the fact that all but one of the properties are currently let by Foxtons.

TENANTS: Do NOT use foxtons. They will treat you very differently before and after signing the contract. They will not sort the problems in the app and leave it with you to resolve and fix. And they protect ONLY the landlord by not solving fixings and charging you an absurd amount of deposit due to your 'negligence'. Even you are seeming to get a lower rent, you will eventually pay the difference back with HUGE deposit deductions.

We were astonished by the service we received and the way we were treated.
We had already dealt with Foxtons a year before. It already hadn’t gone well due to their snobbish attitude towards our requirements and budget (which was not low!) but this time, new heights have been reached.
Their agent simply did not turn up at the first viewing she had booked for me. After 15mn trying to reach her on her mobile, I called the agency landline and guess who picked up at the end of the line! She apologised and did her best to get to the appointment as soon as she could so I could still view the flat. This is not really the reason for this bad review but thought it was important to mention as it made her attitude in the following days towards us even less acceptable!
Following the viewing, I told her that the flat was matching our criteria and she said she would send a list of similar properties via email to view on the week end.
She did and I emailed her back on the same day to let her know that none of the flats of the list seemed to be in our criteria and therefore viewing them might not be worth it. Without a reply from her, I called her a few hours before our 2nd appointment was scheduled to confirm she had indeed cancelled since I wanted to ensure that she would not wait for us for half an hour in the same way she made me wait!
That’s when she literally exploded, leaving me speechless.
She first asked me if we were still looking for flat, because according to her, it was looking like we were not anymore. She then accused me to not what I wanted since according to her the flats she had proposed were actually a perfect match and our refusal to view them was not making sense. I kept calm and I tried to explain her the reasons why we were not interested and she cut me off asking me if my partner and I actually wanted the same thing, throwing some doubt on the level of communications in the couple!!
She could simply not accept that Foxtons did not have something we wanted and got very agressive.
She ended up apologising by text message but not without nuances as to the reasons, almost trying to justify her tone.
The worst is that a few days later she called my partner to ask her if we were being successful in our search and tell her she would have liked a better feedback on the very same list of flats she sent us (she never proposed more than these list, made of 3 flats!)
Pointless call, aimed only to bring back some confrontation as it seems she didn’t want to end things here. We asked her not to call us again, and will formally complain about her if she does.
Last year was lack of consideration, this year was pure arrogance. What a loss of time!
We have since found after only a week looking, an amazing and loverly flat in Angel which Savills have been showing us and as usual with them, all is running smoothly!

I booked 2 viewings with them back to back, first one in Barbican (far away from where I live) and then we would go to another one in Wapping. I didn't ended up seeing either of them. In the first one the keys didn't work (which could be understandable), but then, once I was already waiting in Wapping, I got a call saying that they couldn't send any agent there. I don't know and I don't care who's fault is it, but thats a TERRIBLE SERVICE for a client. I lost 3 hours of my day. 0/10

Yan-Pierre was professional and efficient, the communication was quick and pleasant. In 12 weeks of marketing they only managed to produce 5 viewings for our flat. That is after we persuaded Foxtons to reduce the initial asking price and then persuaded them again to reduce it four weeks into the sale period. They still operate the old Foxtons model of massively inflating the asking price. They are also the only agents not prepared to reduce their 2.5% fee. Very poor service.

I would have rated 0 if I could, avoid this branch or the company in general! I had entered Foxtons in Clerkenwell the receptionist was friendly and had taken our details, then sat us down to wait for the lettings negotiater. 5 minutes or so later, a female named Daniela Fernandes who works at Foxtons Clerkenwell had approached us. She had approached us with her mind shut and eyes half closed. She had spoken to us as if she had 1 minute left of her shift. Nevertheless, she showed us a few properties and had arranged an appointment for Monday the 31st of July at 1PM. So myself and my friend, we strolled into the store as you would do for an appointment and we were asked to have a seat. So after waiting a little while the receptionists approached us and asked us if we had actually had an appointment. I replied yes of course that's why we're here. She replied, oh but she's just gone out with her clients for some viewings. So I replied so you're telling me that she had not taken us seriously and didn't book us in. The receptionist replied yes which was quite frustrating. So we were informed to wait an hour till she comes back. Therefore, we waited an hour and after an hour we were told by a man that also works at the worst estate agents I have ever been to that she will be in a meeting with me now, it's best you go home and I will get her to call you. So we listened and left. However, I'm sure you can guess what happened next. No phone call!!! Therefore, after this terrible service I have decided to write this review on how amazing KFH clerkenwell are, how they provide a world class service and how terrible Foxtons clerkenwell Daniella Fernandes is at taking care of her clients. In my opinion, this is not professional, it is slack. Not taking clients seriously and avoiding them? I will be writing a formal complaint to the directors of Foxtons.
However, I immensely value the service and KFH has provided me with an unforgettable experience which I hope to remember forever and learn of the service they had provided me with. Dominic Martin is a top man!
KFH was the complete opposite of what I have to say in this review. I was provided a world class service from the clerkenwell branch, which had left me speechless compared to how badly I was treated in Foxtons.

They harrassed me for days claiming that I hadn't paid the rent and that it was a late payment subject to penalty payments and a breach of my contract. As the landlord didn't reply to any communications, they kept stalking me. It just takes a bit of brains and willingness to work to solve this problem. But they wouldn't do that.
These people only care about the money, if you have any issues with the landlord or the property, they won´t care at all. Contacted the office, neither Adrian nor Nicola Barrow replied to my emails or returned my calls, they're just as unprofessional as they it gets. Shouldn't be allowed to work in this business.

I recently completed on a complicated sale peppered with hurdles at every stage. I have no doubt that had this process been undertaken with any other agent it would never have been finalised. Foxtons, however, took the situation in their stride and it was thanks to their determination, hard-work, and diligence that the sale was completed. Tia in particular delivered outstanding service and I would not hesitate to both sell through them again and to recommend them to anyone needing an agent in Clerkenwell.

I walked into a Foxtons office and asked to speak to a French speaking estate agent, I was signposted to the Clerkenwell branch where Tia Benkhedidja works. I wanted to invest in a buy-to-let property in London but didn’t know anything about the property market. Tia is very knowledgeable, committed and professional. She took time to explain the market and showed me around suitable properties. Tia put me in touch with a French speaking solicitor so that I could be fully aware of the conveyancing process. She has taken time translating documents and liaising with both solicitors and the bank in France to secure a successful transaction. It was a long process that could have gone wrong but Tia’s patience and dedication made it happen. My property is now let through Foxtons. I am very happy with the service Tia and Foxtons have provided.

I used Foxtons through recommendation, and I was not disappointed. Ricky Chan from the Clerkenwell office found me tenants within 2 weeks of the flat being marketed. He managed to get the full asking price, with 6 months of the rent paid upfront, to two delightful tenants. The whole experience was fantastic and seamless. Worst ever. Avoid. They pretend to be your best friend when trying to get you to rent a place, and once that's sorted, they are the rudest bunch you will ever encounter. Besides the receptionist, every phone call I've had with Foxtons has been laden with passive aggression and sarcasm. They don't care about your problems so long as you're still renting. Worst experience ever. If I wasn't so desperate to find a place I would not have gone to Foxtons. Never again.

My partner and I were searching for a property to rent around the Clerkenwell area with a very short time frame during peak season. We viewed a handful of apartments with an agent who kindly took the time to find properties within their database that might suit us. We met him at the office and he drove us to the apartments. He was extremely knowledgable about the properties and very informative about the process. Unfortunately with our short timeframe we could not secure a property with Foxtons that suited our budget and preferences. The apartments were either too far from the location we desired or too pricey/too large for what we needed. I'm sure our timing had a lot to do with narrowing down our options! However, I'm confident that if we were tenants with a Foxton's property, we would have been well taken care of. Should we be on the market again in the future, I will definitely reach out to them.
