The acid test of an organisation is not what happens when things go to plan, it is when they do not. The team at Stonebridge worked with us over a year to refurb our mother's flat to a high standard, having spent time to go over all the options. In spite of losing two buyers and a final one that also brought challenges, and with unexpected glitches during the refurb, throughout all this the entire team - whomever you dealt with - were reassuring, human, understanding, knowledgable and patient, when it would have been all too easy for all of us to lose the plot.
We sold at a good price, and I was left feeling grateful we followed our instincts on first meeting Saylan and Peter that these were 'good people'. Much as I am glad it is all over, a part of me is sad I will not be in regular contact. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

They are very personable and create an approach to sales that is bespoke to your property - really getting to know the unique things about it that will appeal to buyers and help sell it - and constantly keep you updated throughout the process. Saylan was a real professional and constantly came up with initiatives that would work in the current climate. They achieved success where the bigger agents did not, and I'm 100% sure it was because they put the time in to make it personal without any of the jargon and take pride in doing a good job for you. They have great staff who really do the footwork to ensure good outcomes and earn their commission. As a landlord living outside of London, the letting team have gone above and beyond on several occasions, managing some complicated and unexpected situations (falling tree damage, sewage!) on our behalf efficiently and effectively. I also feel they are responsive and respectful to our tenants, which is important to us.

Be warned that Joel, who we found very professional, has now left the business and Fiona that took his place dealt with us as tenants awfully. Routine repairs were ignored then brought against us, the lack of communication during a difficult period was unacceptable and the checkout was dealt with in a very inappropriate manner, failing to rely on independently compiled inventories and instead going on the landlady's word. Neither myself or my girlfriend have felt compelled to write a formal complaint in many years of renting but we had to with Stonebridge. With Joel gone, I would think very carefully about renting with Stonebridge even if I liked the property because of the immense stress and bother we went through.

We have finally completed on our purchase. We are becoming quite experienced buyers, but it takes a lot of good spirit from several parties to get through a 16 month purchase, with the whole lease needing to be re-written and a change of solicitors in the middle of it all.
I am so pleased Stonebridge & Co was the estate agent as they were absolutely fantastic, the perfect balance of a friendly chase, understanding, patience and professionalism. A lot of frustrations were calmed down along the way and for that I am grateful.

We have finally completed on our purchase. We are becoming quite experienced buyers, but it takes a lot of good spirit from several parties to get through a 16 month purchase, with the whole lease needing to be re-written and a change of solicitors in the middle of it all.
I am so pleased Stonebridge & Co was the estate agent as they were absolutely fantastic, the perfect balance of a friendly chase, understanding, patience and professionalism. A lot of frustrations were calmed down along the way and for that I am grateful.
I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a great estate agent.

The only problem was our current house was not even on the market, let alone under offer. Then I met Claire and Peter at Stonebridge, in Highgate. We agreed marketing, price and viewings! Within a month I was under offer and proceedable, with decent buyers.
