Dealing with Street Estate Agents has been one of the worst experiences I've had with a letting agency. They increased the rent on my property without giving proper notice or any form of communication beforehand. I only found out after receiving a demand for a higher payment — no explanation, no warning, nothing. Their customer service is shockingly poor. Trying to get in touch with someone who will actually help you is near impossible. Emails go unanswered, phone calls are dodged, and when you do finally get through to someone, the staff are rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. It feels like they simply don’t care about tenants at all. To top it all off, I was served an eviction notice shortly after raising concerns, again with little to no communication or explanation. It seems they have no interest in treating tenants with fairness or respect. If you value transparency, professionalism, and being treated like a human being, steer clear of Street Estate Agents. They are untrustworthy, uncommunicative, and have zero regard for their tenants.... Read more

Streets have done a very poor job Of managing my property, communication is very poor,no inspections of my property over the last couple of years,they have not provided me gas safety or electrical certs,I got the property back in a very poor condition, avoid streets like the plague!... Read more

We recently changed our letting agent from Streets in Strood and discovered that the let property in very poor condition. We do not live locally. There have been no reviews if the property that I'm aware of over the years and hence there is now much work to be done in putting the property right. When we have asked for copies of documents such electrical and gas safety certificates in passed these have not materialised. Very much a hands off agent! I would not recommend.... Read more

My experience with this estate agents was absolutely awful. The manager who I liaised with was unhelpful, rude, and quite frankly did not have a clue what he was talking about. I spent over EIGHT months trying to purchase a property through this agent, and was fed constant lies and false promises week after week. I Highly Recommend Streets Estate Agents. I rented with them from July 2021- March 2022 and they have been so helpful. We had a truely terrible experience renting a property through these agents. They are extremely unprofessional, they make your life so difficult, they do not carry out repairs, they lie and they seem to do whatever they can to make your life as difficult as possible. I had threats from Raj, saying that he was going to come and enter the property without my permission. (They were trying to sell the property while we were living there, just two months after we moved in they put the house on the market) the company is owned and run by a dodgy lot, who were funnily enough the ones who also owned the house that we were renting. I would never used them again, not if someone paid me. We also had problems after we moved out trying to get the deposit back. They lied to me numerous times, ignored me and tried to keep money from our deposit which I got back through the deposit scheme.... Read more

never rent from this agent...promised a new back door would be fitted within 3 days..5 yrs later still waiting after 5yrs of asking still no smoke alarms fitted... leaks under bath and kitchen sink since the day we moved in complained for months just got lie after lie about plumber not turning up...fixed myself so as not to have to take more time off work...rent increased every single year....had a dozen landlords/estate agents in my 52 yrs....these are by far my worst ever........ TERRIBLE!!! My mother rented her house out via this agency she received no rent for months on end no statements when bits of rent were eventually paid she was fobbed off all the time... when she called to speak to Mike he never returned her calls and the whole service was terrible the house was handed back in a dreadful state !!! ... We had to sell the house in the end as my mum was so out of pocket which then made her ill we want to warn everyone not to use this company - dreadful service and just conmen be warned ....... This agency is the worst agency in the UK!!! From 2-monts waiting for my gas supply and they aways lied to me that they will sort it out. In this damn country the gas is very important to live normal, so this is ridiculous.... Read more
