Dean looked after us from start to finish. He arranged at very short notice our first viewing, as we were going away on holiday. He kept in touch with regards to our offer, and the photos on the listing were good and the description accurate. His communication let him down at times as we had to chase him to get replies, but we feel that he is far too busy and that he needs help and support. To be on call 24/7 is too much to expect of anybody, and Dean does have clients interest at heart.... Read more

Our family had planned to move later in the year but while waiting for an available plot, we saw a more suitable home listed with Ewemove, Halifax. Upon viewing, Mike's enthusiasm and knowledge relating to the property we were looking to purchase, made it a no-brainer to also utilise Ewemove for our sale. Moreover, proven by subsequent offers and the appraisal, we became aware we had been under valued in our previous plan demonstrating, we felt, that Mike had our best interests at heart as opposed to getting our listing over with minimal effort. However, securing offers in the expected range within days Mike did! Mike also assisted with communication throughout making sure we completed on time. Mike was excellent.His photographs and presentation of the property were flawless.He did the viewings and always reported back promptly passing on reasons where the prospective buyer didn't decide to put in an offer.In the weeks leading up to exchange he regularly had to call the buyer whose solicitors had poor communication skills and he did his utmost to make things happen.Would definitely use Ewe Move again.... At first you would think, why go with Ewemove? surely it would be better to sell your house through established estate agents, but you would be wrong. The selling fees with Ewemove were explained and fixed, the valuation we got from Mike at Ewemove Halifax was spot on and actually was more than we expected and thought surely our house isn't worth this much, but Mike was accurate and we got the full asking price. Mike constantly kept us informed as to what was happening with the viewings and the eventual sale, even to the point when we had two offers of the full asking price and Mike advised us the best one to accept, which turned out to be spot on as the sale went through with lightening speed. Plus being presented with a box of chocolates and a bottle of wine as a thank you for using them on completion day was a pleasant surprise, which I doubt you would get from the high street estate agents. I requested to register my interest in a rental property in Sowerby Bridge which I was advised was very popular. I was told I would receive a call nonetheless re a viewing, and an automated e mail came through. I did not get a call back, so I called the number on the e mail only to be told it was passed to Someone else to deal…I am still waiting? Glad I am not buying or selling with these people!... Wow!, I am not normally one for writing reviews regardless of good or bad service but i feel compelled to do so in this case. What can I say about Ewe Move, Mike, and the team?, just a fantastic experience so far, The whole team go above and beyond to ensure your needs are met. We had two properties to sell one was our Mother in laws and the other our own. Our plan was to combine funds so we can find a bigger property to accommodate our ageing Mother in law. Once instructed the properties were placed on the market within a day and both properties sold within a day! (Although we did not market each property at the same time.) The process was so simple with e-documents to sign which speeds everything up and eliminates the time constraints that traditional mail can pose. We had sold the first property within a day, fantastic, but we had yet to market our own house. We went to view a house on Wednesday 12/08/2020 which we fell in love with but because we had not yet marketed our own we were not in a proceed-able position. We were panicking because we really wanted this house but their had been a huge amount of interest in it and we were just not in a strong position to proceed . We contacted Mike who came round at 9am the following morning, having specifically changed his diary to accommodate us so he could take pictures, notes etc to market our home, which went live the same day. That same evening two viewings were booked for the following day. The second of those viewings made an offer and it was accepted. From our instruction it took Ewe Move less than 48 hours to market and sell our house. The outcome of this has meant we had our offer accepted and that would simply not have happened without the first class service Ewe move have provided. Mike, Wendy and the rest have the staff have been brilliant and we cant thank them enough, I would highly recommend their service, you will not be disappointed. Firstly may I thank Mike & Tania Palmer for providing us with a first class professional service. Throughout the whole process they conducted themselves in a manner which left 'no stone unturned', right from assessing the property, marketing it to subsequent viewings, which led to where we are today -the property being sold. I am still amazed that the whole process took less than six weeks to complete, and at a time of the year where properties are the most difficult to sell. Estate agents have arguably in the past been stereotyped as a certain breed of people, and been portrayed as having a negative image, nothing could be further from the truth in Mike & Tania's case.
