I used Swetenhams to try and find a place in Frodsham/Helsby. I was on a fairly tight deadline and also had to find a place that would allow a dog, which as you can imagine at the moment is very difficult.

I had Nathan Davies helping me out and to be honest out of the many agents I've spoken to over the last few weeks, he is the only one that has stood out in terms of service. He has:

- Updated me directly via phone on suitable properties appearing on the market.
- Checked in with me to see how my situation is.

If I were looking to rent/buy again I would go to Swetenhams based on the experience I have had these last few weeks.

Just recently rented a property in Elton with the help of Swetenhams, in particular Nathan and Jenny who have been so helpful in guiding us through the process. Swetenhams Chester My experience was extremely poor. I planned to put my father's house on the market before Covid-19. The initial encounter was positive, but when one member of staff went off sick, there was a serious lack of communication, and professionalism. It took ages to get through on the phone, messages were never replied to either in email or by phone. When I did talk to a member of staff they were pleasant. To sum up...I was appalled by their staff's ineffectiveness and lack of communication and would never ever use them. I rarely write reviews, but this experience really distressed me, as I was trying to sell my father's house to pay for his care home, and this was very important. They let me down badly. I have since moved to another local estate agent, Beresford Adams, who have been outstandingly good, professional, and on the ball, and I have had an offer.

Swetenhams were very good and very fast in setting up the viewing and quick to respond to any queries for the credit check. We were able to move in on the day we were hoping for because of this. The only small criticism we have was with the Tili system to set up bills. It was useful to have this but some of the bills got a bit mixed up so we had to fix them later.
