First time buyers and it couldn't have been better

It was actually quite a whim that we walked into the Taylors Estate Agents in Roath after a few weeks of idle searching for houses. But we where glad we did, we couldn't have had a better experience. From the first phone call, right up to the completion of the property was excellent.

Incredibly knowledgeable and professional staff, really supportive and helpful. Throughout the process we were helped, supported and guided without any pressure. We were able to ask questions throughout and get answers quickly.

The biggest positive I can give the guys is that they where incredibly helpful when any issues where raised, dealing with them straight away and going above and beyond to help us through them.

Having spoken to others about their experience we feel really fortunate to have had such an efficient service so a big thank you from us for making it all so easy.

I have always found Taylors very responsive, helpful and accommodating. Jack put me in touch with their Bristol team when I was looking for accommodation, and both Jack and Taylor were excellent at addressing my queries during and even after the moving out process.

My boyfriend and I started renting with Taylor's in July of this year. This company charges the most for their letting fees and so you would think they would have the best customer service, but they do not. When we first moved in my boyfriend and I did a detailed inventory of the property and reported multiple repairs that needed done as well as a strong damp smell in a storage cupboard. We did not get any of these repairs fixed until almost 8 weeks after they were reported and the damp issue has still has not been addressed. As tenants we bleached the walls of the cupboard, provide the storage area with ventilation and still it smells up our entire house. Since I have been living in this house my allergies have gotten worse and so I am worried that there might be mold that is not visible which maybe contributing to my amplified allergies. We have contacted the letting company and our landlord, where we were either ignored or promised that someone would come and look at the property but no actions have been made. We are fed up with this company. I would suggest that you save yourself the frustration and let with another letting company. Taylors DO BETTER.

Taylors dealt with both the sale of a property and my rental. The sales team were excellent, especially Charles and Richard. Within 2 weeks of putting my property on the market I had over 20 viewings and they negotiated a sale swiftly to my satisfaction. The lettings department are also very efficient, especially Taylor, who made my lettings experience trauma free and understood my needs. I would highly recommend both the Sales and Lettings Department

Unprofessional. Vague. Over friendly. Inefficient. Don't use Countrywide conveyancers. Taylors get a commission at your expense. They were not good. Impersonel. Call centre mind set.

Poor customer care especially from manager of branch who never calls back starting to think he doesn't exist....seems to be longest sale in history with no hint of an exchange or completion date since october 19...wouldnt recommend this agency ?

It is been a while, but just needed to get it my chest. I am still not happy with the way I was treated. At the beginning it was okay, but then you were getting £175 from me as you were 'helping' me find a place to live. It was an okay place but there was a breach of contract that you turned a blind eye to! Shameful. You have this way that makes you full of self- importance?! And try to make me feel in the wrong. Er sorry, I PAID you, so I was a customer, who in fact received a very shabby service in the end. Especially when it came to getting my deposit back from you. I actually heard you were withholding it from me?! What? Like a punishment for getting the heck away from you lot?! Your hand was quick enough out to get my deposit in the beginning. And been an honest person that I am and doing things by the book, I followed through with what you required. I usually write very positive reviews for other companies, etc, but here I am not sugar coating. I will avoid like the plague. Have a good day.
