One of the worst letting agency, I handled the house keys to them but they did not inform the landlord , the good news I asked them for a receipt, they were surprised for that, then after one week they started contacting me to know if I left the house or not!!! it seems they are not well organised!.
after 10 days!! of leaving the property they did the checkout Inventory, where they said , there are some "Minor wipe-able marks" see attached pictures, they were zooming with some angles to show some dust that might appear after leaving the property for 10 days!! I think they are trying to find ways of stea**** the deposit!!! if anyone sees the report he/she will say these people are not fair , they are take the deposit somehow. Not recommended at all, especially a lady called "Ka***" who is a nightmare, she is very bad in communications !!, I checked the review, it seems this lady is famous in bad communications.
BTW, they did not give me the check in Inventory when I rented the house, they gave it to me after leaving the property .

My partner and I were looking for a place for several months before going to Taylors, after we spoke to Samantha she helped us find our perfect first home. Having then found another property to buy, which has still yet to be exchanged and completed on, Taylors were able to assist me in renting until I am able to move.

if you want to lose money, you can confidently turn to this agency full of incompetents. they will show you a lot of arrogance on your money. they specialize in obtaining profit from holding fees. beware of this agency. i receive the money back from this agency but I but I still have the traumatic experience of the application. Taylors works with a HomLet Referincing agency. This agency has some geniuses in accounting expertise that do not differentiate between personal tax annual return and personal tax calculations. If you are self-employed or have your own company, you better avoid this agency. It's like banging your head against the wall alone.

Quick enough to get you into living somewhere, all professional and friendly, but once your in no support there after! I called Taylors up for help and support, as I'm living in a property unfit for purpose! I called them up to see if they could advise, even help me, but because I'm in a contract for 12 months I have to give 2 months notice, even if I am living in the kitchen!! My bedroom is unusable and paying 600 per month, I'm at the end of my tether here as I can not afford to move, living in cold damp and wet conditions, it's absolutely disgusting! I was told best to move, what help is that when I can't afford to as still paying rent and my bond won't be refunded until I move out....
I agreed to work with my landlord, and I have been, but enough is enough now and this is not fair!!
I will not be using Taylors in the future for anything!
The flat I'm living in at the moment looked fine on the video viewing and in the summer months when I moved in. Since we've had rain pours and storms not so much! This has been ongoing since July, and since I called Taylors a couple of months ago to talk with them they haven't even bothered calling me to see how things are going or how I am getting on with the property etc
I'm seriously run down, tired and fed up with my living situation, so much so I'm breaking out in mouth ulcers, extremely upset and stressed over my whole living conditions. What the hell am I paying for!

They have a lot of time to talk about XYZ but Really bad management. We travelled from london to Swindon just to see two properties booked with Taylors and both of them got cancelled as the agent didn’t communicate with the occupier prior to our viewings. Unbelievable, utterly waste of our time and fuel.

5 stars doesn't do David, Katie and the team at Taylors in Swindon justice, David was an absolute legend when it came to letting my house out, no only did he take excellent photographs, full listing details, my property went on their website on a Friday and Monday morning I had a call to say a Let had been agreed, rent payments have been on time every month, any questions I've had have been answer quickly.
When we came to list my wife's house ready for our move we went straight to David, I didn't think it was possible to beat last time but they had a let agreed the same day we instructed them.
David should be well on the way to winning Letting Agent of the year (if such a thing exists!)
If your considering letting out your home - use Taylor's it's as simple as that!

Totally useless
We rented a flat from them within 4month it was full of mold. when we complained all they did was sent someone out who painted over it instead of sorting it properly. Then ones we moved out the tryed to charge us for the mold and when we refused to pay it they then changed what they was going to charge us for it also took about 6month to get the deposit back

I wanted to put 0 star but could only 1!
Everyone smiles and friend until you pay thousands of money in fees and deposit at the office. After that it all changes!
We lived in a rental apartment for over a year without heating! None of the clerks of this company wanted to do anything to solve this problem. But on the other hand, they regularly came with checking and for some reason checked ... the contents of our refrigerator!!!
During the three months following the end of the rent we can’t get our Deposit back!

Been a tenant for around 5 months now. The house I viewed was dirty and unkempt but it was the location and space I wanted. Were promised it was professionally cleaned and touched up with paint and carpet clean before move in. Everyone smiles and friend until you pay thousands of hard earned money in fees and deposit at the office then it all changes. House was so dirty and dusty and stains and marks and scratches everywhere. Nothing you can do because they taken your money and you have left your old house and your truck of belongings are on the way. They lied and it's my fault because it's not in writing I have no choices or rights because they have my money and I signed a contract. No one smiles or is friendly now they just put the phone down or say they will call back and then don't bother. So many problems with the house and I'm unhappy and hate it here but can't do anything about it. I was looking at the reviews to try and get advice but it looks like this same happens to everyone. I have not been bullied yet just ignored and laughed at I believe the lies. I'm happy that I don't have Google and use my sister account to write so they can't make this worse. I used 2 other rents before and never been treated like that before.

I called Taylor’s today when we had been told by our solicitor that the funds have cleared and the house was ours. The house was sold via a joint agent and we were unable to get hold of the online agent we had purchased through (yopa) and therefore had no keys to our new house. I called Taylor’s not really expecting to get anywhere but Anna dropped what she was doing and immediately drove the spare key she had in her office out to us. Without her help we would have been stuck, it was 16.00 before we heard from our solicitor stating we could call a lock smith as they were unable to get in contact. Thank you so much Taylor’s and in particular Anna. We will be recommending you to all.

Taylors Estate Agents in Swindon have been beyond professional and very supportive. Especially Mr. Sean Sheen, this is the first time my partner and I have rented together, safe to say we were worried about quite a few things, but everything was explained to us in detail by Sean, his constant communication via phone and email, really made the process run very smoothly, Moving day went along with out a hitch from signing contracts, receiving our paper work to holding our keys, and a few months in my partner and I are still very happy.

They don't quite understand the concept of "working during the day" you know, that thing I have to do to get money to actually pay the rent? Shocking, I know. I've said numerous times that I'm not allowing viewings while I'm not present because of the security risks associated. Taylors constantly book without consulting and especially seem to love times when I've specifically said I can't make it (like weekends, 10am during work days, and the day I'm actually moving out, that kinda thing). Best thing is, I get told that it's ME who is being unaccommodating despite leaving work early to go back for a viewing that was cancelled days before that no one bothered to tell me. How useless at diary management can you actually be? I've had the phone slammed down on me more than oncr and general customer care if you're a tentant? Non existent. I wish I could give them less than one star.

Beware!!! It is all friendly at first...especially when it comes to paying that huge deposit. Even after many years in a property .. Extensions agreed and payed for, successful inspections etc etc Don't expect your deposit back... We'll you may get a little bit. For us they used the same problems and photos that were on the moving in inspection and charged us for them when we left the property... Even used the exact photos.. BTW I have proof of this as we kept a copy of the moving inspection. I would recommend you do the same if you go ahead. Happy renting.... Fingers crossed.

Would give it 0. They left us in a house without a working boiler or shower for a month. They even admitted the house was not fit for human habitation and took pictures and went away again. Garden was a mess when we moved in yet they still tried to take the deposit to clear it. They illegally gave the landlord our phone numbers. There was damp in the house. We had a 2 year old in the house. They treat you like you're not even human and will only care if you're late with rent while the landlord gets away with damp, leaks, dodgy electrics and illegal entry of the house in the middle of the night. Do not rent with them. Just. Don't.

How is possible for an agent to don't know dishwasher in the house or not? When I asked her if it is possible to learn, she said no it is not possible! I felt that she didn't want to spend her time to show a house in the cold weather. She asked two times if I want to cancel the appointment within 1 minute.

Rented via this, the staff may be regarded as efficient, but not friendly and lack of understanding towards tenants. Not flexible to tenants, once you signed up to rent from it. Often said this is what the procedure should be, different charges to put you off from requests. Worst agency used and known.

I've been renting for a number of years, and Taylor's are comfortably the worst letting agent I have ever dealt with. They and their agents make intrusively frequent requests to inspect the property. On several occasions they have failed to carry out these inspections on the arranged date - sometimes because their agent did not bring a spare key that I gave them.
The inspections are particularly pointless since they have repeatedly failed to fix basic problems when reported, with these problems then escalating as a consequence. Staff do not seem to speak to each other, and do not return calls when promised.
Despite all of this, they were quick to badger me to sign a wholly unnecessary new tenancy agreement at the end of the fixed period of the AST.
Fees for referencing and minor (standard) deviations to ASTs are also astronomical and bear no relation to the true cost.
I cannot stress in strong enough terms how poor this company have been in my experience, and would highly recommend landlords and tenants to take their business elsewhere.
