22nd Apr 2026 (12 days ago)Jordan has saved me from disaster! We bought our home from Chappells recently. I started the process of selling and buying in January 2025. To make everything stress-free, I paid a decent amount for mortgage service, solicitor and surveys but unfortunately, due to my buyer’s inefficient and poor solicitor, the whole process got delayed for months causing unnecessary stress and anxiety. I had to change estate agents twice due to their incompetence and lack of dedication. The whole process was delayed unnecessarily for months risking the chain to collapse. I went through worries and stress every single day with no hope of completion. My buyer’s mortgage offer expired in February 2026 and they reapplied causing further stress and uncertainty. Jordan has been the only person in this entire process who have supported me throughout, especially with the reassurance and motivation at every point which was needed to keep going. He chased the solicitors on multiple occasions when it is not even his job to do so. His communication is fab, he is easy to approach and very friendly. His dedication is remarkable and unmatched. I finally completed in April 2026 and even at the last point, Jordan did his best to make sure the chain does not collapse and everything is sorted as it was all very stressful. If it was not him, then I would have lost my new house. Jordan has been more like family to me, always willing to listen, talk and help. He has gone above and beyond to help me. He is brilliant at his job and one of the best humans I have ever met. Buying and selling is one of the most stressful things in life and during all the ups, downs, uncertainties, anxieties, insecurities and never-ending worries, all you need, is a genuine person who can be with you in your journey, reassure, motivate and be honest with you. Jordan has been this reliable friend to me, and I will always be grateful for all the help I have received from him. Even when I was in my worst situations, he made me laugh. I would recommend Chappells to anyone looking for clear and hassle-free service. This is my second time buying with Chappells and i wouldnot hesitate to choose or recommend them again in future. Fed up with This agency, we keep chasing our deposit , no response and no clear communication; false and irrelevant checkout report , they do not deserve any star

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

27th Feb 2026 (9 weeks ago)Avocado have been a pleasure to deal with throughout. Their marketing was superb and customer service has been exceptional throughout. I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!

22nd Apr 2026 (12 days ago)I contacted Richard at Miles Byron in the New Year as I was looking to sell my home. I was drawn to Richard as a potential agent due to the wonderful review on offer by previous clients. Richard quickly arranged an appointment to meet me and review my home and discuss my wishes, he offered a fair and sensible price in line the current market and following agreement was able to return promptly to take photographs and get my home listed on the market. My home went up for sale on the 10th January 2026 and it an offer was made and accepted by 23rd January 2026 from ideal buyers with no chain as I needed a quick move due to personal circumstances with a timeline of the end of April as the ideal. I have today exchanged and due to complete on the sale on 5th May 2026. Huge thank you to Richard for such a seamless process and securing me the best price possible. I am most impressed with his work ethic and that one man can single-handedly and so efficiently manage all parts of the process from photos, listing on social media, managing and completing any viewings, updating promptly after viewings etc. I would not hesitate to recommend Richard/Miles Byron to anyone locally looking to buy or sell.

We were kept informed through the whole procedure of our sale and purchase, she couldn't have been more helpful. Cannot recommend them enough.
