1st Mar 2025 (14 days ago)Both Sam and Dan looked after the sale of our property, and they've done an excellent job. It's interesting when you go and view properties for sale and see how different estate agents come across. I'd say that Gatekeeper are one of the few who remain professional throughout, which is always comforting to hear, especially when you're trusting them to sell your home. They were efficient and kept us updated with viewings and feedback. They were confident that they would be able to sell our house and they did this in just over 6 weeks. We've been very impressed with their service so far. They've been personable and always come back when you have queries. Thanks so much both!

22nd Feb 2025 (21 days ago)Jordan kept me in the loop at all times. He was friendly but professional and always on time for viewings. I had had a bad experience with another estate agent and Chappels assured me they would go over and above to sell my property and they did. I couldn’t reccomend them enough. If you want someone friendly and efficient that gets results you need to choose Chappels as your agent. I wouldn’t use anyone else in the future but them .

24th Oct 2024 (20 weeks ago)Bought a house through Richard James, the person who showed the house was nice. But after I was handed to Danny, he applied pressure and pushed us to use ASAP Assured Sale and Progression. Informing us that the sellers were going to use this too so it would make the process easier. This was not the case, not only did the sellers not use ASAP but ASAP were the worst solicitors I’ve ever seen. They wrote inaccurate reports, didn’t respond to messages or read documents sent to them. I can only assume that Danny recommended them so he could get further commissions. When it came to the day of collecting the keys, the agency didn’t even bother to meet me in person. Instead opting to leave the keys with the building receptionist and washing their hands.

At first I thought they were too good to be true, but they seem genuinely helpful, reliable, knowledgeable, and so far very proactive with their communication. We have not completed yet, but my experience so far has been something I would definitely recommend to others. Thank you for redeeming the reputation of lots of people in this business!

18th Mar 2024 (11 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Would recommend highly as he got us through a very stressful sale, but he kept pushing and communicating throughout. Richard made our Dream come true!

The welcome pack I received when I moved in was unexpected but a really pleasant surprise, the move in and out was an uncomplicated process and would definitely use Romans in Swindon again if I ever move back there, I highly recommend them.
