Sadly received the opposite of personal with these guys, they just didn’t contact us. I’d recommend a small agent who hopefully will have more time for you. Had property on market with these guys for 6 weeks. Unless you call them I wouldn’t expect to speak with them.

We purchased a property through them and in the beginning they were very keen to help, so they can obviously secure the purchase. During the negotiations, their communication was terrible and they did not seem very willing to assist in certain matters. Now that the sale has completed we have discovered problems in the property that were not disclosed to us and have resulted in large delays in the moving process. Just overall unpleasant and unacceptable experience.

One of the worst viewing experiences ever for a property was with your Epsom branch agent “R”
She couldn’t treat us any worse starting from trying to change the appointment’s time after being confirmed by email and sms (unprofessional), then standing outside the property door declaring that I had only got 2 minutes (when I was still in my car upon arrival when I actually had at least 8 min time slot), then refusing to allow me to the garden and literally pushing me out of the property after 2 min (when my time slot still had 5 more minutes)
When I complained I was ignored.
I am not sure if this property is truly for sale or is what happened just being unprofessional.
But both ways, I don’t think dealing with this agent is worth my wasted time

We had an awful experience we've had trying to sell our little flat with Personal Agent, Epsom. We were 'looked after' by Adam Latter and he did not appear to have the vendor's (our) best interests at heart. He was more concerned about making the sale and pushing it through. When we finally got an offer his attempts to persuade us to accept a lesser amount was tantamount to bullying. Then (3 and half months later - the sale fell through). We tried again and put it back on with them for speed (and our sins) and he rang and tried to say that we breached the T&C's by putting it on with someone else. Which we hadn't. How dare he! We were well out of that stage of the contract and could put our flat up for sale wherever we like. In accusing me of wrongdoing he questioned my integrity. In truth, it was his incompetence that made the mistake.
He told me he was going to 'step back' for 'our own good'. Rubbish! He stepped back because he lacks the ability to sell our flat. Steer clear of this man if selling through PA. An utter disgrace.
Having read the reply it has, once again, been made apparent that my integrity has been called into question. It was well known that we had gone into a multiple agency agreement. We have even joked that your neighbours, the superior Cairds, would engage in some friendly rivalry. How dare you, once again, question my word. When the flat went back on the market (after you lost our sale) we were told that it would go on under the same terms that it came off at. We explained that we may have to bring on an additional agent and were told 'that's fine' by Adam.
It is shameful the way you have treated me and I remain disgusted. The very least I deserve is a written apology from Adam. He got it wrong and should face up to it.

As we are just about to complete on our property I would just like to say how well your team dealt with it. Of particular note is Ray – who’s input was intrinsic to dragging it over the line during these currently tumultuous times!
He never once failed to call me back when he promised to (I have literally never experienced this in any service industry let alone Estate Agency) , he utilised his contacts to gee-along other parties in the chain when frankly he could have just shrugged his shoulders and said “not really for me to get involved with” and I know he has supported my buyer, who is very inexperienced with property transactions, to move things along.
Anyway, this is not my first rodeo when it comes to buying and selling property (the first BTL I ever got was via the Personal Agent about 12 or 13 years ago!) and Rays work is the best I have experience – top marks….
In fact, he was so good at insuring he ensured the personal/human touch through calling rather than just firing-off emails that I don’t have his direct email address!

Terrible experience. Total lack of respect for potential tenants and current tenant. Hustled and rushed into a viewing, given a ridiculous 5 minutes - estate agent managed to quickly gloss past any ‘dodgy bits’. 5 minutes is not anywhere near enough time to look properly and make informed decisions. The complete disregard towards us was very obvious. Just book another hour of your time at least, so that everyone has 10 minutes. Really not that hard. Oh that note the current tenant had obviously been given no warning and the agents just barged their way in before he had even returned home from work. Just embarrassing. After hussling us and giving all the usual estate agent ‘speel’ we then were left for over a week with no correspondance, despite chasing, to then be told the current tenant had decided to stay. Total waste of our time. Their complete lack of respect for our time means we will of course be avoiding them like the plague - if this is they way they treat PROSPECTIVE tenants, goodness knows how they treat current ones when there are problems. The moment we heard the property was agent managed that was enough to put us right off.

We were very impressed with The Personal Agent, the key word being ‘Personal’. Over the course of our viewings we got to know the team and as a result they got a real feel for the kind of property we were looking for. We dealt primarily with Joe who was very proactive in suggesting properties and very quick at replying to any questions. They were also very accommodating when in came to squeezing in viewings to suit our availability.
On a more general note, The Personal Agent had a strong presence in the areas we were interested in and seemed to have a relatively high turnover of properties with few coming back to the market.

We enquired about a number of properties with them and they didn’t get back to us we have lost an interesting property with other Estate agent while waiting for them to Get back to us on another property we have made an offer for . They don't acknowledge a mistake or deal with it seriously. They have contraindecated themself so on many diffrent occasions ,for instance , one day this property is flying off the shelf and in few weeks later oh. Mr... do you want to see that property its still available, not to mention that so many of there listed properties came back to market because thy are over priced by themself as they have special deal of no win no fees and inorder to make their calculations adds up they have to over price any property. So they can engulf high percentage on a accomplish deal. So many of their property will come back as the bank will not value it as they did but at least 25 to 40 less than their asking price. So expect at of falling chains due yo losing on time . Terribly unprofessional company and I will do my best to avoid them in the future.Not to mention how rude they are . Ultimately I felt I am dealing with cowboys litterly with all due respect to the real cowboys. Perhaps a seller will benefit from their gangster behaviour but a a potential purchase a big No.
They are not trust worthy and try to bully potential purchaser into drastically higher prices to keep their stats looking good. A bit of an advise best Estate aget I had geart experience with were CAIRDS, Hampton,Kay bridge residential. Greenfield. All of them best communication, clear policy same steps on each property equal opportunities for all bidders .I hope that helps .FYI most of five starts feedback of them has been done by friends and families and they are not real feed back .You see that if there is 5 properties a week on the market 3 of them with the personal aget because they promise the seller of no fees if no win but if they sell it in two weeks then big slice of the cake who you think will he the victim of this toxic deal. Its YOU the potential buy ,therefore be careful try to stay away from them as much as you can.

Estate agents quite often get a bad reputation for being untrustworthy and unreliable - just telling potential buyers or sellers what they want to hear, rather than the truth. But we found The Personal Agent to be the complete opposite. We had a couple of situations where our offers sadly fell through due to issues further up the chain and Chris and Joe really took us under their wing and we are so grateful to them for doing so. In the end, they were able to find and secure a property for us which was so much better than what we originally thought we were going to purchase and were fab throughout the whole process. I have had the worst experience with these estate agents and I have worked with a few over the years. They have no system, they don’t keep track of their listings/viewings and don’t communicate any information. We enquired about a number of properties with them and they didn’t get back to us on 2 out of 3 of them at all. They failed to turn up to the one viewing they arranged for us and didn’t bother to communicate that the property has since gone under offer. Terribly unprofessional company and I will do my best to avoid them in the future.

We have dealt with the Personal Agent on a couple of occasions and have mixed feelings about their service. We let our flat through them and the lettings team were absolutely brilliant, they were very responsive, very proactive and found us a great tenant paying £100 pcm more than another agent valued our flat for and £150 more than a similar flat in the building that had recently been let by another agent. I would highly recommend them over any other letting agent in the area. We then decided to sell the flat and again the sales team were brilliant, were responsive, kept us fully up to date, generated plenty of viewings and found us an investor who has bought the flat with the tenants in place at a price we were happy with.
Unfortunately, the experience from the point where we accepted an offer has been terrible. We dealt with Ren and were having to always chase for answers to questions which we had to ask multiple times. We were often promised that she would return our call and then didn't but would just respond with an email a day later. Emails written to us were full of mistakes an even though we asked to both be copied into the same email this often wasn't the case which did make it seem like she didn't really care. When we phoned Ren to get an update and did get hold of her she didn't seem to know the answers to a lot of our very basic questions and on more than one occasion we were given information that she openly said had 'guessed' and actually related to a completely different property transaction to our own. We had to do a lot of the chasing of the deal and in our experience the sale was not progressed at all by the agent, all we got was Ren forwarding emails to us that our solicitor had already sent us. When our exchange was delayed one Friday we were explicitly told by Ren she would personally chase it up on the Monday and when we emailed her on the Monday afternoon having not heard from her we received an out of office reply so she clearly had no intention of chasing it up for us. We exchanged over a week ago and have actually now completed on our sale but we haven't had any phone call or even a courtesy email from anyone at The Personal Agent since. Overall we have been left feeling frustrated and ultimately ended up feeling like we haven't received a personal service.

My dealings specifically relate to Joseph Edwardson and Amish Bodhania.
To give some context: My partner and I were first time buyers and had previously put an offer in on no chain maisonette which after 10 months of waiting around and pushing with Eastons decided to pull out of, because we were getting no where and had the worst experience.
With personal agent and specifically Joe and Amish, we started the chain (being first time buyers) and ended up being in a 4 person chain from August and have now got a completion date for December. The service and responsiveness of both Joe and Amish have been 5 star. My partner and I have been impressed with their professionalism throughout the process and couldn’t recommend them more highly.
We did have a few hiccups with the chain and Joe and Amish both dealt with this really well and managed to keep the whole chain up to date and moving smoothly. This is a far cry from what we experienced with Eastons and I highly recommend personal agent to both buyers and sellers.
I would be using them again when we eventually decide to sell and will be advising others to do the same. They just get the job done but you feel they have the managed to get the right level of firm and compassionate with the stressful situation you are in.

Richard visited us one evening, offered us our valuation and is obviously very experienced in the Epsom market place.
We received an asking price offer within a week of going on the market, and higher than we were expecting. Chris and Sarah progressed our sale proactively and faultlessly in a very difficult time during lockdown, with great communication along the way, always returning phone calls and were a great help in the process, outdoing themselves.

I am a construction site manager and have been working in the Croydon area and staying hotels for long periods of time and really needed a place of my own . The first positive thing was after work most estate agents are closed but Personal agent stays open till 7pm. Whilst their initial approach to selling our house was met with enthusiasm and professionalism (great marketing), their client relations were very poor. They were rude to us on numerous occasions, falsely sold our property twice forcing us to lose onward purchases. They are not trust worthy and try to bully potential sellers into drastically dropping prices to keep their stats looking good. After 10 weeks with them, another Epsom agent swooped in sold our property within 3 weeks and for a fairer price.
