Coming towards the end of our experience with the personal agent, can give nothing but 5 stars towards them and especially Sammy who has dealt with us. She's been extremely professional and understanding of our situation, whilst managing to find us a buyer within 2 weeks! Cannot praise Sammy enough throughout this whole time. Polite, courteous and pleasure of doing business with her, would highly recommend.

I don't usually leave a review bit today changed my mind!!
I met Sally who was very professional and welcoming.
She made me feel relaxed and showed me around the property answering all my questions and I left with the feeling I was valued and that my questions and concerns were taken and answered with genuine thought not just an answer to make me happy even if the question may of had a negative answer.
She allowed me plenty of time even said I could if needed walk around on my own .

After previously leaving a 5* review at the beginning of the process of buying a property through The Personal Agent (after being asked by Samantha to do so), I'm amending my review accordingly. The initial viewing was pleasant and Samantha seemed friendly and willing to help, which we were grateful for. However, once liaising directly with the vendors after our second viewing, it came to light that the agents had outrightly lied to both parties, subsequently causing unnecessary pressure and panic. The branch manager, George, and Samantha were constantly (and quite rudely and abruptly) chasing both parties and our solicitors multiple times a day, pushing for unrealistic timeframes that no one had agreed to. Once called out on the relentless chasing, Samantha's response was unprofessional and ultimately stated that it was her job to chase and that our message would not deter her from continuing to chase persistently until completion. Having a number of experiences with estate agents throughout our property search, and speaking with numerous people who have had similar experiences, it seems that most branches of The Personal Agent are only interested in earning their commission, and don't truly care about their clients, which is evident in how both parties are treated.
If considering selling or buying a property through any of The Personal Agent branches, I would strongly recommend not to.

Another agency happy to sell you the dream, and how their marketing is the best etc etc. Started well but very quickly went downhill due to members of staff leaving. Ultimately we cut ties with them when they arranged a viewing where the client didn't arrive to see the property and they lied saying that the client "didn't like our home" and they were advising us to drop our sale price - we have cameras on the outside of property and had recorded confirmation that they waited and no-one arrived for the viewing. After being lied to we got away as quickly as possible! We have thankfully sold with another agency, and moved, so this is a retroactive review.

Should you prefer the hard sell with one of the more corporate type of approach, with pressure all the way then go ahead. The choice is yours.
However, you could select an alternative style, as we did with The Alternative Agent, who will treat you with courtesy and respect, and will support you if there are stumbles along the way.
They may even put the kettle on if you need to talk.
Yet at the same time, they will beaver away to secure a buyer in the quickest time possible.
In our case within days.

I’ve recently been involved with The Personal Agent in the sale of two properties.
After hearing horror stories from friends of mine who used other agents, (especially the ‘on line’ agents) I was looking for an agent who I could trust with the sale of the most important assets in my life.
I was recommended to use The Personal Agent and am so glad I did.
They didn’t promise to get me the earth for my property, nor did they offer to work for peanuts.
I’ve heard of agents who do both just to get your business.
What they offered was an honest, professional service from 4 local offices with enthusiastic staff.
I have to say they delivered on their promise 100%.
There were a few problems along the way, (there always are), but I was made aware of these as they happened and felt comfortable that Tom and his team were fully on top of them as they occurred.
Due to the regular updates throughout the transactions I was able to plan my life and have an approximate idea of when each sale would complete.
Something that my friends never received from other agents!!
We all know the general reputation of estate agents is not good but I can honestly say that The Personal Agent do not fall into that category and strive to provide a perfect customer experience.
I can only thank them for their service and have already recommended a couple of friends of mine to use their services.

I can’t sing the praises of Tom and Chris at The Personal Agent enough. We viewed a property with them before we decided to sell with them and they were the only agent who showed up on time and was friendly and didn’t treat us as other agents had (like we were too young to have a clue). We then got various valuations for our home and TPA came the same day we enquired- again on time which seems to be an issue with other agents. They gave us a realistic valuation and weren’t patronising at all in their assessment. Once we chose to go with them a photography team came, such lovely people who were efficient and respectful and produced fantastic images and video which I’m sure is what helped to sell the property. The morning after we went on Rightmove we had viewing requests which quickly stacked up. We ended up blocking them all in to a Saturday and five days from advertising our home we had the offer we wanted!
In the meantime we had our eye on a home that ticked most of our boxes but TPA went above and beyond and got in touch about a property that may suit us which hadn’t gone to market yet. We was able to view it before it was advertised and have had an offer accepted on it shortly after.
It’s so refreshing to work with a team of young agents who know what they’re doing and look out for your best interests. I can’t reccomend them enough.
