Will try and do an honest/constructive review here. We signed up with William H Brown raunds in November 24. To start with we felt they completely overpriced our property, we asked for a reduction due to no interest.
We went a good two months with no communication from them, only to find out the branch manager was demoted and moved to another branch. No one informed us of this, and seems staff struggled a little during this period, we randomly get a call from them one day saying he is the new manager and apologised as in his words “we had your house on the market but weren’t doing anything about it” during this period - which explained limited contact and barely any viewings. We asked what happens at the end of our initial term to which the manager did not tell us we needed to provide notice to end with them - even if your initial period has ended. He simply said in person to us “don’t worry about that right now” so we felt he’d not been upfront with us. This meant we were with them another 4 weeks longer than we wanted to be.
We asked for better communication going forwards. Not sure this was taken on board.
We finally received an offer at literally 5pm on the final day of our notice to end marketing with them. We accepted on the basis it wasn’t a large chain.
As conveyancing process continues, we are ready to exchange and pressing for dates, to then find our buyer has “added in a related purchase”. When we queried branch manager about this and we felt he could not be honest, we directly asked him when he learnt of them adding in a related purchase and we felt he answered like a politician literally dodged the question. We were told no related purchase was involved. What he was saying was different to the legal representatives. Unfortunately this delayed our process.
We finally completed in August. Even after exchange we received a passive aggressive comment from the branch stating they hadn’t realised we’d exchanged. Not sure how? Everyone else did. Not even so much of a congratulations on completion either.
Anyway, long story short, be wary of them. We know estate agents can perhaps bend the truth in a variety of ways but we really felt they were dishonest and the communication was completely lacking.
We will say Aaron was great and an asset to the branch, we found him to be the only one that actually gave us facts and felt like he wanted to speak to us. Thanks Aaron.

In all of the years I've sold houses, Tracey and her team have certainly been the best. Other agents in the chain were rubbsih and the Raunds team jumped in and got the chain to exchange. They genuinely care. We used their recommended conveyancers who where equally brilliant. First class service.

We would highly recommend using William H Brown Raunds. We brought a house through them and they were absolutely brilliant. They really went above and beyond to complete the purchase, keeping all parties updated at all times. They were happy to answer any questions and would always get back to us. We never felt under any pressure, viewings were relaxed and we were given all the time we needed without ever feeling rushed.
Tracey and Lauren were superstars the whole time and we can't thank them enough for making the process a lot less stressful.

Very poor service and communication.
- Would always promise to ring back and let us know. Never did.
- Did not research the vendors properly, meaning we spent £1500 for no reason.
- No communication.
- Often gave erroneous excuses for things that were not ever plausible.
- Spoke with management team who ignored my e-mails.
With the number of estate agents on offer, I would strongly advise going elsewhere.

Lauren and Tracey have been amazing helping with the search for our new home. They have really listened to what we wanted, only sending through properties we would actually consider which was so helpful!
Even when they had nothing for us on the market at the moment, they still called to check in to see how we were getting on and to let us know they had not forgotten about us.
Although we have now found our home with another estate agent, they were so pleased for us and were so kind.

Brilliant sales technique, had me believing they loved the property, when photos were taken they did not advice how to set the house up and then lazy selling, no one knew what the other had done and even one didnt even know how much the house was selling for. Go for magenta much better much more professional

Absolutely fantastic service start to finish! The manager Dan came around and gave me a valuation, I had other agents in the area value my house as well, but decided to go with these guys as they were local and Friendly. Spent time asking me what I needed and where I was moving to and actually cared. I had the ladies come around my house and ask questions about my house as well before it went onto the market and sold it before it even hit market !! Couldn’t be more happier with the services and friendliness of the branch! Highly recommend them!

I found William H Brown very positive and helpful during the sale of our house. The sale took longer than I expected but that was probably due to the fact that Christmas fell smack in the middle of the process. I felt that the valuation was accurate resulting in an offer being made within 8 weeks of being on the market. The completion of the sale seemed to take ages, but this was probably due to the fact that we were selling to first time buyers.
