From the opening enquiry email stage I had a warm feeling about Wrights and I was not disappointed. Having sold a property with Salv and the team I could not have asked for a greater level of communication and support. They were creative in solutions for managing the property (I was selling remotely on behalf of a deceased relative), handled the transaction impeccably; communicated effectively and promptly - always the same day often within the hour and were friendly and polite whilst having a strong local knowledge. Big thanks to Salv for assisting us in purchasing our lovely new house in WGC. After I emailed some feedback about 2 other properties I had seen with them that weren't suitable for us, Salv emailed me with a recommendation to check out a new property on the market with them. We liked the look of the property and swiftly arranged a viewing. Offer made the same night and accepted the next morning. Very poor customer service. On 15th of July I arranged viewing for properly that was for sale. Sharon Knight said that viewing is not possible sooner than 19th of July. Sellers are not available. I waited the whole week to receive a message from Sharon a day before the viewing that my booking is cancelled because there will be an offer on the table. WHAT THE HECK?

I have called and enquired about 1 bed flat this morning, and the lady have asked me who will the property be for, as I have one baby on the way and will be born in the next 4-5 months, me and my partner decided that up to 1-2 years we don't need more than 1 bed, with separate kitchen and dining. And she have told me that "you must rent a two bedroom flat if you re expecting a baby", she was very unprofessional, in the end I have asked her this is what your agency inputs, and she said yes.
Same of you, if you input a rule, you should have first read the guidelines on gov.uk.

I was impressed from the start, not only were they respectful courteous answering all my questions but they knew all about the house and the works done to it and the area like they lived there etc. Their insight was definitely of value when it came to selling the property. We needed clearance at the last minute having been let down, they couldn't do enough to help, great prices for this and fees too and instant,
Defo recommended he went above and beyond. They were not shy of working and show casing the house, they made me feel like I was family and what i thought and needed was important. They booked viewing after viewing from the off and waiting on probate was no issue. We had a buyer at a price I was completely happy with after just 2 weeks and interest from more. I have no doubt that it was the friendly attentive staff approach ,had i gone with other estate agents in the area i dont think did some of them would offer the same approach, in fact other companies put me off , some seemed over busy too rushed, not available and like it was just about money and you were not important to them. I highly recommend the team who were professional at every stage and worked with all people involved in the selling of my mums property after she died which as you can imagine as a family home from childhood was hard to do. My elderly mother has been a wrights tenant for over 6 years. During this time if ever mum had an issue Wrights were extremely quick and efficient to deal with her issues. But most outstanding of all, was that yesterday my elderly mother had a fall and I was at least 40 minutes away. Phil and Liam immediately offered to go round to the flat and were able to find mum and call the paramedics. They waited until I arrived. We as a family, are completely grateful for this extremely kind act and cannot recommend Wrights enough, as they go well above and beyond the call of duty! Thanks so much Phil & Liam :)

This estate agent is outstanding. My elderly Mum has been a tenant of theirs for many years. Not only have they ensured that my Mum is safe and comfortable in her home, making adjustments, alterations and repairs promptly, but they also take care of her in emergencies. This afternoon after a call from the emergency responders, I needed to find someone to see if my Mum was OK, I am in Wales! In desperation I called Wrights to see if they could help, and before I had even finished the call they were out the door and on their way to my Mum's. They found her on the bathroom floor and called an ambulance. They stayed with her until they and my niece arrived and kept me notified of what was going on. Fortunately the paramedics were able to treat Mum at home. If Wright's had not responded so promptly who knows how long my Mum would have been lying on the cold bathroom floor on her own. This is above and beyond and totally restores my faith in humanity. Well done Wright's! ????????????????

STAY AWAY from Wrights Estate Agents!
They take zero responsibility for anything. Constantly passing the buck. As long as they are paid, they have zero care for the community or neighbours of their properties.
Vile attitudes with 3 members of staff!
The response to this I'm sure will be more diplomatic than any I have received if at all.
For 3 years I have suffered noise from the flat above me. Leaseholders are managed by Wrights Estate agents who have constantly treated me as though I am the problem for complaining about excessive noise and leaks from their flat.
There have been several neighbours who blast music at 10 pm right through to 5am wrights and did nothing. Slamming doors at all hours of the night or use appliances such as washing machines at 2am or 3am knowing that it is extremely loud in my flat there is no insulation and the estate refuse to do anything about the flat itself or put a clause in to hold the neighbours to account.
Keeping myself with a severe disability and a young child awake at night.
My bathroom has been flooded by the neighbours or claimed faulty pipes a total of four times. Two of which have been the last week.
They claim a plumber has been to fix it following the last time, yet it leaked again yesterday.
My storage unit is now damaged, and their response to all of it is to contact the council and your content insurance. They constantly pass the buck despite clear responsibility being there's.
This company has repeatedly displayed a lack of due care, respect, and responsibility. Don't get trapped into using their services. You and the community will suffer at the hands of their short comings.

Since then, I seem to have not only found the most diligent and professional agents , I felt I found a family in a town that was totally new to me.
All the managers and staff were most helpful in making me comfortable in a town I knew nothing about.
Since 2007 I have had dealings with Wrights for purchase, rental and sale of properties.
In 2016 I had one of my flats on sale with Wrights .
Wrights got me an offer in one Saturday viewings and £10K above the asking price .
I introduced my sister to them for her flats and she too is with them since 2009.
Wrights have all my and my sisters flats under full management for rental too.

So with all my belonging outside and waiting on friends with large cars to arrive it started raining, and what did these wonderful people do? I can’t give a 5 but consider this a 4.9. The completion of the purchase went through literally on deadline day hence the 0.1 mark down. Despite this, from viewing with Sharon, to sales progression with Tina and Salv, the team were supportive and driven to complete the sale.

Worst estate agency I ever meet! We moved out of the house almost 6 weeks ago, on 14 June 2022 and they still refuse to refund us the deposit money, making all sort of false claims that the grass was not trimmed in the garden-even if we do have proof that we trimmed when we left and have the initial inventory pictures to prove , that the curtains were not fitted on the tracks, that we broke the shed locks even though the shed never had any functional locks.... When we call them for the deposit money they say that we have to talk to DPS , but they don't respond to the claims on DPS website. They claim that they are impartial but clearly that took the landlord's side as the landlord has another 8 houses rented by this agency so they obviously don't want to lose this landlord so they try to keep our deposit money for the landlord. It's a shame that an estate agency plays this dirty after we have lived in the same house for 5 years and not even one day delayed with the monthly payments!!! So tenants must be aware of this agency!

When my husband and I purchased our first home 5years ago as chain free first time buyers, with another estate agent the process took 6 months. This time round we were selling our first property to purchase this one and the process took 3 months with Wrights WGC! We had several agents to come and value our home at the start of the moving process and after meeting Salvatore we decided easily to go with Wrights. The whole process from our valuation up until exchange of keys of our new home was dealt with by Salvatore and Liam, both of whom were actually amazing in terms of communication. Everything from the valuation and photos, to allowing us to visit the property we were going to buy to take measurements, to reccomending us a solicitors and mortgage adviser right up to exchange of keys for our place and the new property were dealt with by these 2 legends and all the little bits they did inbetween that honestly made the whole process so much less stressful than the first time round. Cannot praise Liam and Salvatore highly enough and would reccomend them to anyone, would not hesitate to use Wrights WGC again in the future if we ever chose to move again. Thank you Liam and Salvatore for making the process so quick and smooth sailing and for finding us our potentially forever home!

I can't really put into words how satisfied I am with the service I've received from Wrights, both when it came to letting out my property and selling it.
For over five years Wrights were responsible for managing my property to let. Philip and Lucinda always found responsible tenants within very short periods of time and I never experienced delays in payment. They kept me up-to-date on all issues regarding it such as repairs needed, when it was time to get a new gas safety certificate and they did this all for a very reasonable rate.
Then when I decided to sell, Salvatore quoted me a good price range he believed my property could sell for. I was delighted when he and his brilliant team (Thank you Hollie and Tina) were able to secure a buyer within a week of the property at a price I was very satisfied with. They responded very quickly to all emails no matter what time of day it was and always kept me in the loop with regards to what was going on. They also recommended an excellent conveyance solicitor.

I had a positive buying experience with Wrights of Welwyn, from the first email that I have sent up to the moment of collecting my keys. I started my buying journey during the pandemic & moving outside London wasn't easy for me but I had the luck of finding the property (with a great vendor) and excellent team from Wrights of Welwyn.
Natalija was my first point and main contact, she ensure that I'm safe and well informed. I didn't even feel that she's selling the property, but she negotiated the transaction appropriately & professionally; ensuring that my needs (as a buyer) are reasonably achieved while taking good care of the vendor's interests. The process was relax and not pushy at all.
The rest of the team are very accommodating and helpful; they can be very busy but remain timely and responsive. I phoned Wrights several times and spoken to different staff but all my requests and queries were professionally handled.
Tina was very keen in sale progression but no pressure imposed. Thanks for those prompts, completion happened earlier than expected.
Salv kept me informed towards completion and flexible enough to work with my schedules.

With the property being shared ownership, there's always more steps to the process, which can make it more difficult compared to buying out right. Where other estate agents might charge more for this they didn't, they provide an excellent service and a fair price.

I would recommend going to Wrights, the whole team were amazing and although very professional also had a good laugh at times which you need if feeling stressed.
Natalija came round on the initial visit talked us through everything and even put up with all my questions, Natalija patiently gave us a few days to get the house in order to take photo's.
We then met Harry who also was absolutely amazing and again had a good laugh, he did most of the views as we didn't want to be in

If anyone wanted to buy property quickly with no hassle Wrights Welwyn Garden City is right place to contact. Our formal process had started on 6 January and end of February all was completed. Excellent job!!! It was hard to believe during this difficult period particularly this branch members managed to handle our property purchase procedure very professionally.

All of the Lettings team at Wrights have been so helpful throughout the entire process.
We initially had a flat fall through (through no fault of the agency) and they then enabled us to FaceTime to view the property as we weren’t based locally at the time.

All three looked after my sale and kept me fully informed of progress with regards to solicitors and other agents on a regular basis. The sale was kept fully managed, so that issues were tackled immediately and proceeded smoothly. I can genuinely say that I couldn’t be happier with the service received. We completed on our new home today and can literally say it simply wouldn't have happened without the support and help from Sal and his team at Wrights. We've had a mare of a journey but Natalija, Emily, Tina and Sal have worked so hard to make it happen. Open and honest comms, regular updates, chasing our good for nothing estate agents Purple Bricks and a team to cry on when it felt like we just kept hitting a brick wall. I have used Wrights in the past and did not hesitate to contact them again when I was selling my home. Salv, Emily and the team are amazing. Honestly disgusted with the level of service from this agency. They are unprofessional in dealing and treat you awfully. We were tenants for 5 years with them and never gave any trouble. Payed our rent on time and looked after both the properties we ended up renting through them. For some reason they getting email addresses incorrect constantly and even though these were corrected several times they never seemed to be able to use the correct ones. Even when I used the email address to contact them and had several telephone conversations telling them to correct the details. I was overly accommodating with allowing viewings of the property to take place when I didn't have to be. They arranged viewings and would not pitch up for the appointments not bothering to tell me they had been cancelled also not bothering to confirm appointments and then just arriving at the property expecting me to accommodate them which I always did. In the end when we needed 5 extra days in the property as we were waiting completion of our home we purchased they we unaccommodating and unhelpful. Never getting back to us. I can't express more how disgusted and disappointed I am after being great tennants for so long. Avoid using them if you can.

I highly recommend Wrights. I first put my house on the market with a different agent, after 3 months of viewings but no offers I decided to switch and use Wrights instead. Within 3 days I had accepted an offer at the asking price (that Wrights suggested) and within 3 months the sale is just about to complete. They are professional, friendly and responsive, their valuation was accurate and they were very quick at finding me a buyer, overall I am very happy with them and recommend them.

I have been Letting my properties with Wrights of Welwyn Garden City since 2009 and I have to say that their service is outstanding. All their staff, led by brilliantly by Graham, have been doing a great job in fully managing my properties. Phil, Aimee, Karen, Charlotte, Ameillia (previously) go out of their way in ensuring that the property is Let out quickly with expected rent and then they manage all properties professionally keeping me fully informed of repair costs and any ongoing issues. With Wrights, I get a truly armchair service and I never have to worry about property management. They are always on top of compliance and regulations and ensure all safety checks are carried out on time. All staff are pleasant, courteous and will go that extra mile to keep the landlord happy. I am extremely happy that Wrights are managing my properties since 2009.

We were unfortunate enough to choose this agency to sell our house with. They were awful - the worst treatment we've ever received.
We had been lied to, treated poorly.
These people have no idea what good customer service is and in a very stressful time in our lives of selling a house - they actually added more stress to the sale.
They advised us on a price, then made us drop it by £10,000. Then, when we finally had enough of them and handed in our notice - suddenly, out of nowhere we have an offer! It was ridiculous... It took 10 months for them to sell our house which we were re-assured would go quickly. Never again.
DO NOT USE THEM. You're better off selling your home by yourself!!

I'm going to give you an honest review of Wrights, I have to be careful for LEGAL reasons but needless to say that they were in the wrong. They were wrong about a lot in our dealings and they were extremely incompetent. I can not stress this enough to anyone reading this, don't use Wrights estate agent they are the worst estate agents that I have ever dealt with and I have dealt with more than my fair share in my time.
