I wish I had!!! it would of saved me stress and money ( extra charge added on completion day of £420 )
I did call your move but they said nothing they could do which I understand however don’t want someone else have the same experience as me.
It really is a shame as all the team Lynn, Leah, Cath and Jess are all fantastic.
These guys are brilliant.
Service is second to none and so professional. I’m hard work to say the least!!! however I was kept up to date on all viewing’s and my property has sold within 10days for over the asking price.
Lynn set me up ran through the process and what to expect and was bang on the sale price.
Leah and Catherine have then kept me up to date on the viewing’s and how they went with feedback positive and negative but I’ve been informed at every stage.
honestly a very effortless experience can’t fault the team. Not completed yet but I’m expecting everything to run as smooth as it has done already.

Catherine in particular has gone above and beyond what you might normally expect from an estate agent, by being helpful in some real moments of need due to unforeseen circumstances. Not so much going the extra mile, but running a marathon !! Charge landlords £1,200 for a finders fee when other local agents only charge £300.
Their monthly % is more expensive which is expected as they're a corporate but when they find a problem tenant which is the luck of the draw, I find that it's me sending countless emails to people within this company and when the tenant leaves the house with damage.
There has been nothing recorded to cover the landlord despite three inventory reports being done, I have still have £0 for the damage caused.
Overall, i've made a loss due to the 10% management fee, £1,200 finders fee and the £950 damage left by the tenant which only lasted 8 months at the property.
Thankfully another local agent has took this property on charging a fraction less, and have just one point of contact if anything need resolving.

I am really hugely disappointed
I gave my property to be fully managed in 12/2019 and after 2 different tenancies I ended up losing more than 12000£ both in lack of rent and damages to the house
The Funny thing is really they don’t know which tenants caused the damage
They were not visiting the property regularly which is some what understandable because of lockdown and covid however the overall experience with them was really bad with a lot of losses and damages caused by the reckless attitude some of them have

Jessica came to give a valuation. I must thank her for the time she spent in advising me on the current state of the market(which was good at the time) and the potential in selling the property at the price she believed it would fetch.
Her eventual valuation was pitched at a level I believe was realistic and achievable due to the fact that it was evidenced based on recent sales in the locality, trends and the fact that the property was well presented. She outlined the terms and conditions , including costs for representing me and other services the Agency could provide eg., conveyancing and legal work.
This made me realise that not only was she professional looking she was good at her job!

The viewings were booked in with no issue and they guy who showed us around each time was friendly and let us have lots of time to look around and ask questions.
Jessica was our main contact through the purchasing process. She was really helpful, responded quickly, chased up answers to questions quickly, and helped me and my partner feel at ease during our first house purchase.

I have to say I have been really impressed with the outcome of the sale of our property. From the very beginning we had three valuations from different estate agents with one estate agent valuing the property at £30k less than Your Move but with a cheaper fee when sold. I’m guessing so they would get a quick sale & get there commission with minimum of work Carried out.
The valuation from Lynn at Your Move and a another estate agent came in at the same valuations.
Your Move advertised our property and with in 10 days we had 18 viewings arranged over the weekend. With several offers going in above the asking price, indeed we ended up accepting an offer 6% above the valuation this was a fantastic result achieved by Your Move.
The communication and up dates after the agreed sale price from Catherine at Your Move was regular and professional. I can’t recommend Your Move enough. I realise if I had gone with the cheaper sale commission fee from the other estate agents it may very well have cost me in the region of £45k.
In this case it definitely was a case of you get what you pay for.

We sold our house recently with Your Move Swinton branch and we couldn't fault the service we received! From the beginning they seemed like they had the best experience and knowledge of the market and got us a price that we would never in a million years would have expected.
George was great at listening to all of our concerns before going to market and also kept us updated throughout. The photos, sales brochure and floorplan were all done to an extremely high standard. Once on the market and throughout the sale the team were always on hand and Catherine really looked after us and did her best to keep us as updated as possible. Lynn was great at keeping us updated on new houses on the market to help us get into an onward purchase quicker. We felt completely comfortable having them look after our house sale.
Whilst the fee was one of the highest in the area, we feel it was more than worth it for the service and the house price we managed to sell for. Thanks again to the Swinton team!

I can't stress enough how impressed I am by the level of commitment , enthusiasm and professionalism displayed by Your Move staff.
When we were viewing the property, Tony - the agent showing us around, didn't want to simply let us in to have a look and just stand there minding his own business. He was genuinely engaged in the presentation and wanted to help us make a decision. But it hasn't stopped there. The guys at the office are also really helpful. Rosie was very friendly and open to questions and quick to provide updates on her own. This gave us a feeling that we are actually treated as a valued customer and not as another name in the system. Catherine Dore (based at Your Move in Swinton) was excellent throughout the sale of our home. She was responsive, helpful and always very supportive throughout the process. The only gripe I had with Your Move as a business was their use of 'Homefast', who apparently are there to make the process smoother, but my experience was that they were dreadful from start to finish. Fortunately, Catherine made up for any shortcomings from Homefast, and it would have been a smoother process to just complete the sale without them being involved. I would have given 5* had Homefast not been in the picture.

Absolutely awful, my wife and l were looking for a flat to downsize to,and after turning down three because they were not pet friendly,the one we found on your moves books fitted the bill. My wife asked An assistant, was it pet friendly,she said she wasn't sure but would get back to us,five minutes later she rang back saying it was ,the senior assistant had assured her,when we took our ID we asked again and were assured that if the lady said that it would be correct as she had over twenty years experience .we moved in on the 18 of December and the first resident who saw our dog informed us that pets were not allowed. As if this year had not been bad enough,this has totally spoiled Christmas and New year for us, luckily up to now all the residents l have spoken to have no problem with our dog so we are taking it day by day,but l would not recommend them after our experience.

I’ve been using the Swinton branch for over a year now. I have, and always will recommend them to anyone I can, including you! Estate agents can be marmite, but Yourmove Swinton are on the better side of that debate.
They’ve helped me rent, and now sell my house, both with more profit than I expected!
An especial shout out for Samuel (aka Sammy ????), who’s really taken good care of me these last few months, giving advice about sales and rent, and even holiday recommendations (can’t wait to try out the North Coast 500 next year ????). Most recently I moved from a house to a flat as it was in a location I preferred and throughout the process I was kept informed of what needed to be done next and estimated time frames in a professional but also friendly manner.

Your Move Switon have been amazing from the start. George was very professional gave a honest valuation and guided us to what would be the best way to market the property. Within the week our property was on the market with great photography by Steve. As soon as the property was listed my phone didn't stop ringing! Catherine did a fantastic job of booking in all the viewings, providing me with tips and encouragement (as a little nervous) as to how to handle the viewings myself she also followed up the viewers to provide feedback. Was updated by email with details of the viewings booked which was great. By the end of the week we had multiple offers, Sammy called and again he was fantastic at advising us what our next move should be he certainly advised well as he secured us a great selling price. Not sure where all the good reviews came from but I would give a zero star if I could - it was so unprofessional for the agent to be late for more than 30min for a booked rental viewing, without any calls to notify their lateness, leaving me in the rain after me arriving there 10min early with my job schedule moved around, and never apologising when I patiently waited and called them twice only to receive a response “will be there in any minute; there’s nothing else we can do”. Finally the agent never showed up before I left so no viewings at all but only a waste of 1.5 hours. PLEASE RESPECT THE TIME OF OTHERS AS A MINIMUM

I found YourMove to be highly unprofessional. I had found a property for rental via them which turned out to be an advert only deal and they did not manage the property. This would have been fine if the landlord wasn’t a rogue one. Deposit wasn’t protected, gas certificate lapsed, repairs not carried out, extreme mould and damp problem etc. I tried to discuss my experiences with YourMove and they weren’t interested in the slightest. Apparently checks only need to be done on the tenants and they have no due diligence checks for landlords; nor were interested in noting my concerns.
The landlord then decided to sell the property and YourMove carried out a ridiculous open house which resulted in an obscene amount of people coming through the house in a short period of time. Things were knocked off the walls and side boards, my coat stand and contents knocked over and left on the floor in the middle of the room, marks up the walls, dirty footprints up the stairs etc. To add insult to injury we also were made aware that personal details had been shared about us at the viewing and the estate agent George told prospective buyers that we were ‘bad tenants’ which couldn’t have been further from the truth. When I questioned this it was denied and no apology was ever made.
If you’re a tenant I’d avoid. If you’re a rogue landlord this is the company for you.

What a disappointment, after receiving great service from both Josh and Sammy, the tail end of the service completely let the whole experience down. I was advised to take out an inventory to ensure that my property was returned in the same condition in which I left it. Unfortunately this is when the nightmare has started. The inventory was full of blurry pictures and damages that weren't recorded. The excuse was very simply we don't care, you have paid for the service and we don't want to do anything more for you. I would highly recommend that you don't take on any extra services as this will just result in disappointment which has now tainted my overall view of the company. I unfortunately would recommend this company for renting out your property, unless you want poor aftercare.

Our search to find a new property for our family was a huge struggle as nothing we looked at was quite right, but Your Move were great! All of the staff were so patient, friendly and helpful. They understood what we were looking for and did their upmost to help us find it! Your Move, Swinton Branch provides completely top notch service. I bought a house through them, let the house through them, & sold the house through them. In all three contexts, I was 100% delighted.
The purchase was quick & easy. I was invited to look at property on line with a lovely woman (who is no longer there). She picked up on the kind of thing I wanted really quickly. In 10 mins I was driven for a viewing. Next day offer was made, & by close of day we had a deal. Fabulous!
It proved to be a perfect house to let as Swindon team said it would be. They had tenants lined up to move in the day after completion. What better service could you wish for? These tenants stayed and paid until I wanted to sell.
During the sale process I was kept informed at every step & I was v pleased with the process & result.
When the first woman left shortly after I met her ( no connection, I trust!), I was very disappointed, but Catherine picked me up & has been fabulous- friendly, professional & efficient. Lynn, the manager is terrific. So personable & so effective. They both made time for pleasantries while getting on with the business. Lynn clearly runs an exceptionally good branch. Your Move should be VERY proud of her & her team.
On my first visit to the branch, I saw thank you cards from happy customers on the cupboards & desks. I wondered if I’d ever seen that before in an estate agent. Now I understand why.

Just completed purchasing a house listed by your move.
Quite an incompetent estate agent:
Lost/forgot bookings, needing me to constantly rearrange.
Failed to inform the current occupier that I was coming for a viewing until 5 minutes before arrival.
Didn't know any details about the house that would normally be useful to a buyer (age of boiler, council tax rate, rough cost of bills etc.)
Upon handing over of keys, didn't inform me of the burglar alarm code, leading to me setting the alarm off.
They have friendly staff over the phone though, so that's nice.
