The A&W rental team have always been available when needed and they have performed very timely and professionally over the last 5 years managing my rental properties to ensure maximum occupancy and revenues

Michael was very helpful at the introduction. We chose A&W over three other local agents.
However, things went drastically wrong after that.
The photography (a 'professional' photographer in a tearing hurry) was very poor; lots of overexposure, and failed to actually capture the relevant features (eg stools chopped in half at breakfast bar, missed a feature wall, and had to be called back from the road for missing photos).
When the Particulars were sent the photos were unsatisfactory. A&W said they would correct this, but when particulars were resent - they sent the same photos even though we had discussed and approved other photos for use - including some that we took ourselves, to supplement the poor ones.
There appears to be little communication between the staff, and even less with the clients.
As a result we decided not to continue with this agent having lost faith: if they couldn't even get the particulars right, what sort of service would they be able to provide further down the line?
Would not recommend.

Came in the wild overvaluation to secure the property, then kept us to reduce the value by 25,000 within four weeks then a further 25,000 in another four weeks as part of the boxing day sale did us very good viewings offers the second and third we had However communication has been less than des, leaving my son who used to be estate agent to do most of the viewings and communicating with the purchaser

Booked a viewing for the property close to the General hospital for 11am. On the way to the property 45minutes the viewing got a call from the agent to say they had offer day before. Parently they forgot to notify me.
Booked another property with them. They contacted me by email to change time. Went to the property for the viewing but no agent. Called them and they told me . We left you voice mail. Never received the voice mail. They could not be bothered email me.
What a waist.

Selling my parents' Fareham home of 57 years it was important to me to instruct an estate agent who demonstrated empathy for the sensitivity of the situation I found myself in but more importantly a depth of professional conduct and knowledge. Tom at Austin and Wyatt was one of three agents I considered, and whilst not the cheapest of the three I could immediately sense through his approach that Tom would handle the sale with the professionalism I sought. Through his knowledge and experience of 25+ years work in Fareham he clearly stood head and shoulders above the competition.
Always courteous and accessible by phone or email Austin and Wyatt returned messages in quick time and if Tom wasn't available his colleague Nathan was on the case demonstrating a good team approach.
I hear people saying that because a buyer is found quickly that agents don't earn their fee, but to me the fee is about paying for all that goes into making that sale possible, then making it happen.
