Avoid - rude, dishonest, would not trust as either a buyer or seller
Signed up in person summer 2025 as a buyer. No info sent through in months.
In December sent multiple requests via Zoopla for a viewing of one of their properties. No reply. Called main office. Finally get one email to arrange viewing; I reply six times and nothing. Physically go into office March 2026 (house is still on market / unsold) and get patronised rudely by a team member - "we couldn't prioritise you as a viewer" "this is how markets work" (thanks I've bought & sold two places before). Told me they'd book me in for viewing; no follow up.
It's pretty clear they overprice houses that they don't sell - this one is still on the market as of end April 26 (it was reduced a full six months ago) which was confirmed by friends who live locally "avoid them, terrible reputation". I wouldn't want to partner with such poorly organised / low integrity agents to sell my place, or want to work with them on buying somewhere.

I had a viewing with Alexander Thompson at Durden & Hunt and it was a really positive experience. He was helpful, informative, and made the viewing feel relaxed and well-paced. He was also quick to respond to any follow-up questions, which I really appreciated. Would happily recommend.

I had a fantastic experience with Durden and Hunt. A special thank you to Amanda, Ross, Grace and Ciara for their support throughout the process. From having my offer accepted to collecting the keys, the entire purchase was completed in just 5 weeks, which was incredibly impressive.
The team were always responsive, professional and proactive, keeping me informed at every stage and ensuring everything progressed smoothly. Their efficiency and clear communication made what could have been a stressful process feel straightforward and well managed.
I would highly recommend Durden and Hunt to anyone looking to buy a property.

Alex was amazing, genuinely great agents.
As a buyer, these guys were the total opposite to the normal experience. Although I was on the buyers side, If I had a property to sell, I'd want these guys to do it!

Been dealing with Durden and Hunt since November trying to purchase our first property. Being first time buyers neither myself or my boyfriend had much clue of the buying process, however from the very start Amanda and Andy have been great with us. It has not been an easy journey due to many issues along the way, however Amanda kept us updated at every stage. She was able to answer every question we had and at times felt like she was doing multiple people’s jobs. We also spoke with Lynda at times who was equally as helpful. Overall I would be happy to recommend this estate agents to friends and family and would consider using them in the future when we come to sell. Thank you Amanda and Andy for everything!
