It was such a pleasant experience we had with Durden & Hunt and their lovely agent Anya.
As soon as we mentioned what exactly we’re looking for she came up with a beautiful place which was almost perfect for us. She was able to offer a viewing the very next day which was very quick for us to have a look and decide. She showed me the place, was able to explain the features very well and she answered all the questions I had. Eventually we didn’t end up renting the place however I was very satisfied with this process as they were quite helpful and considerate. I would definitely recommend Durden & Hunt and huge thanks to Anya.

My fiancée and I have recently purchased our first house through Durden & Hunt, and I can honestly say that Olivia was the reason we ended up buying the property.
After months of dealing with various estate agents, Olivia was the first person who genuinely took the time to understand what we were looking for. In fact, she called me after the office had closed one evening to talk through our requirements, understand our situation and discuss a property she thought would be a great fit. No other agent we dealt with went to those lengths.
From that point onwards, Olivia was absolutely fantastic. She was proactive, knowledgeable, responsive and, most importantly, she genuinely cared about getting the transaction over the line. Throughout what turned out to be a lengthy conveyancing process, she kept us informed, chased when needed, coordinated between solicitors and estate agents, and regularly went above and beyond to make sure things kept moving.
What stood out most was her persistence and communication. Whenever there was an update, she would pick up the phone. Whenever something needed chasing, she was already on it. At times it genuinely felt like she was as invested in the move as we were.
Buying a house can be stressful, especially as first-time buyers moving up the ladder, but Olivia made the process far easier than it otherwise would have been. We honestly do not think we would be moving into our new home without her help, support and determination.
A huge thank you to Olivia and the team at Durden & Hunt. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

Buying property in the UK is, frankly, one of the most stressful experiences you can put yourself through - Amanda made it easy. Between navigating the conveyancing process, deciphering survey reports, managing a chain that feels like it could collapse at any moment, chasing solicitors, and trying to understand what on earth "exchange" and "completion" actually mean in practice - it can feel completely overwhelming, especially if it's your first time.
From our very first conversation, Amanda was refreshingly straightforward. She didn't talk in circles or hide behind jargon - she explained every stage of the transaction clearly, told me what to expect and when, and was honest when things were moving slowly and why. That transparency alone was worth its weight in gold. So many agents leave you chasing them for updates; Amanda was proactive, often calling me before I even had the chance to wonder what was happening.
When a complication arose mid-transaction (as they almost always do in UK property purchases), Amanda handled it. She liaised with the relevant parties, kept all sides informed, and kept the deal on track without panic or drama. Her knowledge of the process was evident - she clearly understood not just her role but the wider legal and procedural landscape, which meant she could anticipate problems before they escalated.
If you are buying or selling property and want an agent who actually takes ownership of the process rather than just listing and disappearing, Amanda and the team at Durden and Hunt are exactly who you want in your corner. I would not hesitate to use them again.
