I’ve had a great experience with Ross and the team at the Hornchurch branch. A very personal service with so much advise on the market and figures and options and how to place a secure offer the other end and grounding my decisions. Me and my husband are so impressed. Our family have used Durden and Hunt before so we knew to only approach Durden and Hunt. The branch is very friendly and helpful for walk ins and quick to book appointments and home visits and they don’t push for sales they give you what you need and let you realise they are the lead agent to use!! My experience with them has been great, Ross from their Hornchurch office kept me updated the whole time, and arranged multiple viewings of my property. Alex is an outstanding business man. He is very easy to warm too and feels more like a friend than someone who’s just selling a house. He is so resourceful and responsive and his attention to detail and knowledge is spot on. I had used other agents before him and liked the service for some and not for others. I would never use anyone else now I’ve found him and nor would my family. I honestly can’t recommend Durden and Hunt enough. His team are like him as they have been trained by the best. Moving home can be extremely stressful and that’s why it’s vital to have a good agent. I’m local and have used a lot of others in Hornchurch in Upminster and no ones come close over the years of going through selling 3 homes to this time.

My experience with Durden & Hunt was nothing short of excellent. Matt, Ross, and Amanda were all individually brilliant.
Matt was my first point of contact and Ross did all the viewings. Matt really listened and was super quick at getting our property listed. Ross then secured multiple viewings and they sold the property faster than we expected.
I’d like to say a huge thank you to Amanda because our sale wouldn’t have happened without her. It was her resilience and tenacity that really got the transaction over the line. She chased the evasive and vague conveyancing solicitors every day until she achieved the results that no one else could. Durden and Hunt are the best estate agent in Hornchuch, in my humble opinion.
Grace was easy to contact, which is more than you can say for most.
Without Amanda, we wouldn't be moving into our house this weekend. The fact D&H employ someone just to progress deals makes all the difference.
I've used a few estate agents and this has been the best one.
P.s - I didn't use their solicitor, opting for a cheaper option. I soon came to regret that decision. If I could go back, I'd pay slightly more, as it nearly cost me the deal.
P.s.s Ross was also super helpful and accommodating.

Within the past 12 months Durden & Hunt have acted on our behalf with the sale of two properties and my wife and I have nothing but praise for the overall level of service they have provided. One property took quite a while to sell due to numerous legal complexities, but we got there in the end. The other property sold very quickly and we managed to exchange and complete on the same day. Throughout the process we were kept informed of progress and that is something most Estate Agents just don't seem to understand how important that is to sellers. Only positive things to say about Durden & Hunt. We were initially unable to sell/get many viewings with another estate agent, however straight away Ross from Durden & Hunt was able to get multiple viewings a week, and more importantly was able to produce a reasonable offer. Ross then continued to go above and beyond, as we are currently abroad, to assist further by making multiple visits to the house to gather information needed to exchange. I cannot recommend Durden and Hunt enough. From valuation, to exchanging the team at Hornchurch have been with me every step of the way. Matthew Clarke led his team, specifically Jordan through a year of negotiations and hard work to allow me to move forward. They never gave up and I can honestly say the whole team have been professional but also really personable and easy to deal with. Rubbish services and totally unprofessional staff. I had viewing and I wasn’t provided contact number of the agent I suppose to meet at property. I was running 5 minutes late and I was in contact with the agency however there was no one at property so I have wasted my time, money and work.
