Martin was very knowledgable of the local market and his initial valuation was very close to the offers we received.
The first prospective purchaser for the property dropped out but Martin very quickly secured the same offer from another purchaser which ultimately completed.

The staff at Martyn Gerrard were uniformly, knowledgeable, professional and fast to respond to queries and follow them up. From an accurate forecast of likely sale price (higher than another local agent), through marketing and showings to finalising the sale I really could not fault them.

Afina & Dinesh were polite, supportive, and communicative. They were always on hand to take our calls/respond to emails and supported us as first-time buyers to navigate our purchase.
We appreciated being given our space to view to property in the first instance, without hard selling. We were also able to visit the property several times before buying, and again were left to our own devices to explore and discuss.
The process had its bumps, as all purchases I'm sure do, but we felt we were kept in the loop at all times. They continue to support us with questions and queries post completion.

I expected more from a self acclaimed award winning estate agent, that plaster their branding throughout Finchley pretending to care about their clients, when unfortunately for us (and all else be warned) they’re terrible, they don’t care, they don’t help and I’d avoid them at all costs.
From kick off you get hounded by agents ‘checking you’re still searching’ however when you make your viewing request you can’t gain access, it’s always the tenants fault or so they say.
The offering process is poor, left hand doesn’t talk to the right hand, very disjointed, we agreed a move date but that changed without prior notice. One agent called to advise if we offer the same already rejected offer for a second time it’ll be accepted, we did, but it wasn’t. However the agent didn’t advise us until we repeatedly chased them.
Their tenancy agreement is littered with clauses that go against the law, yet their response was simply sign it or don’t move in, lovely. Worse still one of the many impressively titled letting directors/head of department sits on the very same governing body that I refer too, so it’s more do as we say not as we do approach. So poor and will be followed up on.
They save the worst until your move in though, they don’t allow access to measure up and check the home (see claim about tenants access above) they then claim to check the property and report back to your new landlord.
They don’t tell you about your move day until you chase them.
They then claim to not be involved in the management so can simply hand you over and wash their hands of you.
An agent their called Oliver and the house itself is the only reason we went ahead, I’m hopeful he sees the type of firm that employ him and either progresses through the ranks and makes a real difference or leaves and finds another firm.

Sophie was incredible !
Since the very first moment we spoke on the phone she showed professionalism and efficiency.
After hanging up the phone she sent me over lots of options for me to look at.
I had really not much time to find a new place and Sophie has been a gift sent from I don't know where to us.
With her you can be 100% sure and not worried because she will sort everything out as soon as possible .
Very reliable and always answered after no time.
