Big regret trying to sell my property through Palmer snell after giving them multiple chances. Incompetent staff and complete lack of communication. Viewings consisted of far too many no shows and 90% of the ones who did show “provided no feedback”. Lights were left on during viewings when we were away on several occasions which shows how little they care..
There is only one manager within the Boscombe branch, Daryl. So if he is away, there’s no one you can really speak to- which was confirmed to me over the phone.
When we finally secured an offer, I was awaiting the memorandum of sale. Which I waited for for over 3 weeks. After phoning, calling etc, I was told after 3 weeks that the offer had been withdrawn.
I do wonder how long they have known about this for… so, we set a week to secure a new buyer as quickly as possible. After which a viewer cancelled half an hour before the viewing… I asked to speak to Daryl, and was told he was not in the office for that week!
Now, is this a lie also?
I’ve asked the property to be delisted and I will use an estate agent who has time and truly cares. The property is still not delisted after over 2 days.
Absolute chaos..
wish this review was positive but my experience was far from it. Stay away!

Waste of time company.
Estate agent doesn’t have the right keys the first time when booked for a viewing. We reschedule and they cancel 5 minutes before the viewing when we already have arrived at the property.
If you’re trying to sell with this branch I would AVOID.

We had the house on the market and initially we have a few views, however these dried up pretty quickly. We were advised after around 2 months to drop the price which we did and then we had no viewings. After 3 months the Gillingham office closed down, and we didn't know about it until someone from the Wincanton office phoned to tell us! Great. We stayed with Palmer Snell for another 6 weeks where we had no further views.

Where to begin ... I had my property on the market with PB for 3 months, in that time I had 2 viewings. one day I get a hand written letter from Adam at Palmer Snell trying to get my business, I called Adam straight away and secured a package that worked for both of us. Before my property even went live with them, I had Shahob and Anastasia calling everyone they could think of and subsequently arranged 4 viewings within 2 days, one of which resulted in an offer today. It is still early days, but I have every confidence in the staff here that this will go through, or if it doesn't, then I know they will find someone else very quick. I wish I went here in the first place, they have been incredible from the start! I am soooooo grateful for that little hand written note through my door! Thank you all :)
