Today we completed the purchase of our first (and hopefully forever) home with Ella and the team from Palmer Snell.
Ella went above and beyond all expectations to ensure the purchase and that the onward chain remained on course.
A huge thank you to Ella and the team for providing such an excellent service. Always there at the end of the phone, fast communication, reassuring and supportive. We have recently sold our flat in Westbourne.My husband has owned it for 27 years but due to getting older and health issues he has decided to relocate to Canada.we had to leave before the sale was completed and Matthew Theobald went above and beyond to facilitate a smooth sale for us,helping us with all the technical stuff we had to deal with.Being seniors we are not terribly.computer literate and without his help not sure we could have achieved it He was so professional but also extremely kind and helpful at a difficult time in our lives.I would have no hesitation in recommending him to any of our friends and family.Other staff in.the office were also very friendly and helpful

After making a business buying and selling properties and always using the same agent we decided it was worth giving a different agent a go at selling for us.
This has been our biggest mistake. Asking Palmer snell to sell one of our flats has been chaos and stressful.
Within just a few days of signing the contract and being told the property would be listed we became concerned why the property was nowhere to be seen. We contacted the agent who assured us by the next day it would be live online for sale.
Imagine our frustration after daily calls, one week later the property was still not even listed. Every day we were told, tomorrow.
In the end, I called the agent and said I wanted to terminate the contract if they couldn’t get the property listed that night.
So that night a photo of the outside of the building with no description appears online. The next day I called the agent to ask when the information will be put on and all the photos. They said tomorrow!!
We decided to leave it 48 hours and call back.
At this point, I also discover it’s being sold as a freehold and not a leasehold. Again we are told, don’t worry we have people viewing the property. We will get the information up. Obviously, people would view the property just to see what it looks like rather than viewing it because they like the photos. Here we are now 14 days later still nothing online except the outside photo. No floor plan, no photos, incorrect wording.
The agents are refusing to let us out the contract and refusing to post the legally required details to sell a property online. They have now informed us that we have no right to sell it with somebody else and they will be making no effort to get the ad appropriately live and running.
As you can imagine, this is a financial disaster when selling a rental property.
I hope if anyone reads this, they know never to use Palmer snell.

We were looking for a house and when we found it ....They ask us to pay the Commission fee on site on the phone to stop the house in the market....without tell us about the small writing...they took £450!!!! we then did not pass their credit check (Done with Noodle a free credit check website that is update every 3 years!!!!!! I could not register my self with the last 2 addresses!!!!) after saying they will help us to find a solution and maybe get some money back.......They never ever called again!!!! The answer was that my husband sign their paper...which he saw after giving them the money and trust them.....they are just sale people that will sell they dirty underwear if they can get money out of it!!!!! Disgusting!!!!!!!

Poor experience! I had viewed a house which I was very interested in, unfortunately the estate agent wasn’t knowledgeable on the property and didn’t attempt to show us around. Myself and my partner were still keen on the property itself and put an offer in, we were then told there were a few others interested and to provide “best and final”. After providing a new offer, estate agents explained they would ring tomorrow if our offer was accepted. However we had to visit the estate agents to photocopy our IDs (a step which I knew could have been done over email) but pushed us and said our offer would be void if we didn’t attend. When we arrived at the estate agents, we were told to sit down with a mortgage advisor who asked us our deposit amounts, salary etc to try and sell mortgage products. He then followed up by asking us to email him our IDs- which could have been done without visiting the estate agents. The whole process was poor, and all they wanted was sales and to get us to buy “extras”. An hour after leaving the office, the estate agents told us we didn’t get the property as the other buyers ‘made more of an impression on the seller’. Very unprofessional and wasted our time for sales. I have been put off viewing houses listed with this estate agents.
