Avoid at all costs.
I had one of the worst experiences dealing with Palmer Snell, particularly with Adam and his team. Communication was consistently poor — calls went unanswered, updates were unclear, and overall professionalism was lacking.
At the start of the purchase, Adam was extremely difficult to get hold of. Then, just two weeks before the supposed deadline, I was suddenly contacted and told everything needed to be completed by Monday. I requested a short extension until Tuesday, which he agreed to.
Acting in good faith, I paid all the necessary fees to my solicitor to proceed with the purchase. However, Adam later called once (with no follow-up email or written confirmation) to inform me that the offer had been withdrawn and the property had been given to a higher bidder.
This was handled very poorly and showed a complete lack of proper management and communication. As a result, I’ve lost over £1,000 in survey and legal fees — all for nothing.
I would not recommend working with this agency and will certainly not be using them again. Based on my experience, the negative reviews they receive are not surprising.

Ellie was extremely lovely and showed a genuine interest In selling our home , even though we went with another agency we were happy that Ellie spent the time on coming out and valuating our property anyway

We recently purchased a property through Palmer Snell in Canford Heath and had a very positive experience from start to finish. The entire process was straightforward and well-managed, which made what can often be a stressful time feel smooth and hassle-free. Shahob was fantastic at keeping us informed and pro-actively followed up each aspect of the process.
Communication was excellent throughout — we were kept fully informed at every stage. The team was responsive, professional, and always available to answer any questions.
What really stood out was the speed of the transaction. The turnaround to exchange was impressively quick, and this was handled efficiently without compromising on attention to detail.
Our interactions with the rest of the team were friendly and professional and to the same standard we had come to expect from Shahob. I highly recommend using this Estate Agent!

As Palmer Snell is part of a larger network, they had to deal with a central office which delayed thing at times.
All the people, i dealt with were very pleasant and helpful. I was a little disappointed with the photography as all the staging was left to me and nothing was arranged to make it look better.
