Recently I found myself & my young daughter looking for a new home to rent in the area due to changing circumstance. It was all very sudden, and I was very upset at the time.
The Palmer Snell team, and in particular Glen, have been absolutely amazing at trying to find a new home for us. We were able to view a property very quickly, and due to the fact I had rented with them for over 7 years, Glen was able to vouch for me with a new prospective landlord that I would be a good tenant to have in the property. I really feel he worked hard to make sure we got it!
Glen has been very kind, understanding, and extremely professional through the whole process & I can’t thank him enough for his help. I felt I could, and can, call the office anytime to have a chat with him about any issues, or just if I have a question.
It’s so nice to feel you have great people like that on your side, when life can change so suddenly.
We will hopefully be moving into the new property in about a weeks time, and I can’t wait to start afresh.

After recently losing my mum, I decided to put the home we shared on the market.
I popped into my local branch and the staff was so lovely.
Zac came round to view my bungalow and to give me some idea on what I was looking at realistically to sell.
He was a really lovely young man, and had most certainly done his homework in being able to show me comparisons in the area.
He spent 2 hours at my home explaining everything so clearly and professionally, right down to assuring me that he would help me find a property to suit me.
Unfortunately I have decided to keep my bungalow as it’s too soon in my grieving to make such a rash decision.
Zac is a credit to your company, and confident young man with such warmth and compassion, and he most definitely knows what he talking about.
I feel he will go far with his aptitude and professionalism, and general nice character.
If and when I decide to sell, it MOST DEFINITELY will be Zac that I want to deal with my sell and buy without a shadow of a doubt

I would give Grace at Palmer Snell much higher than the 5 star rating if I could. There is absolutely no point using any other Estate agent in the area (I did and soon realised my mistake) Grace will not let you down, she does exactly what’s needed to get your house sold (with us full asking price on first viewing) she worked endlessly with the solicitors pushing to get Exchanged quickly and keeping us updated at all times. She really goes above and beyond and is 100% committed.

End to end (a 5 year period) a dreadful experience; tenants beware! The communications are rare, tardy and delayed - the 3rd party management (Countrywide) is awful - repair requests done via a portal, 3 quotes later delaying the whole process. And to add insult to injury, despite having full release of the deposit under landlord instruction, they hold it for an additional 7 - 10 days because they "offer a BACS service"...we all know that these days, a transfer can be made in seconds.

Within a week of applying for a viewing I have moved in to my new place! Given this won't happen everytime because some places need more work than others but the paperwork is streamlined and easy to follow! If you have any questions the team are able to answer your calls or emails very quickly and offer lots of help!

It was her first week shadowing and was very helpful I can imagine she will have a great future with the company!
Also the other young lady that sorted my dad a flat out was so professional and made everything easy to process!

When Darren Gough did a valuation for us, my toddler was being a bit of a handful. Darren was so patient & accommodating with him, happily moving from one room to another depending on where my little one went next. The way he approached this made the appointment much less stressful - I can’t imagine many estate agents would sit on the floor playing duplo during a valuation! Thanks so much!

Darren and Sam were amazing throughout us buying our first home. They were always professional and friendly and responded to all of our messages promptly.
Only gripe with Palmer Snell is that I heard from friends they received a welcome basket from the estate agents when they bought their first home and me and my gf we're excited for the secret goodies. Unfortunately Palmer Snell doesn't practice this so was a little bit of a let down.
This doesn't detract from their amazing service but couldn't give five stars on this basis

Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I've been trying to speak with my property manager for almost 6 MONTHS now. I've left multiple voicemails, I've emailed numerous people multiple times, even tried the contact box on their website and no reply. We've had no access to our garage and a broken stove top for our entire tenancy and NOT ONE SINGLE REPLY.
Now that I'm moving to another property, my new landlord can't get hold of them for a reference. Palmer snell Canford heath is an absolute joke - please do not rent through them because they just simply do not care about you once they've got your money.

Worst estate agents my family have ever dealt with. My parents paid for the reference service they provide to find tenants for you. It didn't take the tenants long to stop paying their rent and they completely trashed the house. When Palmer Snell were asked when or where they got the reference, my parents were told it's not their problem and nothing to do with them. What a great way to treat your customers! Haven now spoken with their previous landlord, he said they did the exact same thing to him! Beware, they might seem to do a good job in the first instance, but how thoroughly are they really checking the tenants??
