23rd Oct 2025 (23 weeks ago)As Trustees of my recently deceased Fathers will and estate they are refusing to manage his estate. I was advised by telephone that the senior partners advise of not doing 'conflict'. No further explanation than this. A very disloyal response for the thousands of pounds my father spent over his lifetime with this company. I have now been referred to the SLCC by the Law Society.

Not a run of the mill sale, a few quirks, but the staff made big efforts to ensure things went as smoothly as possible. Always on hand to answer queries or find answers. ( I had a few). Always patient. Always professional but most of all welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend them. Thank you Baird Lumsden and all of your staff.

18th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)If you would like your property grossly under valued with a poor sale's team. Or even a valuation that isn't worth the paper it's written on. I highly recommend using DM hall. Disastrous experience in both selling and valuing 2 seperate property's.

31st Mar 2026 (5 days ago)They managed to sell my home fairly quickly buy by their own admission, they aren't the cheapest estate agent locally. I didn't get the chance to proof read their property description before it went live which I found very strange but they subcontract that part out. It had a couple of errors in it that would have been easily spotted had I had the opportunity to see it. James was very helpful throughout the process and my property is now sold so they did their job.
11th Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)I was looking to purchase a property being sold through The Grange earlier this year. My viewings were arranged quickly and the lady who showed me round the property was friendly and helpful. It was only when the estate agent Helen got involved when I made a verbal offer that things deteriorated. Whilst I understand that she was looking out for her client and wanted to get the best price that she could for them her negotiating skills were non existant and she was rude, dismissive and spoke in a condesending manner saying "I'm not sure if you have bought a property recently but I have sold ones recently for £10k/£15k over the asking price" in order to get/ justify me putting in a higher bid even though it was already in excess of the asking price. I walked away only for her to contact me several weeks later when my offer was accepted. A bit of self reflection on how you deal with your potential buyers wouldn't go amiss.

I initially started off with a solicitor estate agent, and sat on the market for the best part of a year with very little viewings. I contact Nicola and after speaking with her decided to proceed. I was blown away with the service, she prepared my house for the photographs. It made such a difference and she was genuinely excited about showing my property. Two months in and we received an offer. Nicola came round on the day of the move to make sure we were on track. She has a very calming, caring nature, whilst efficiently guiding you. Thank you for making it a pleasurable experience.- 28th May 2025 (10 mo. ago)I found the valuer of the house good and she kept in contact. Also the person who took viewers round the house good. The photographer did a good job leaving a good impression of the house. And the surveyor also did a good job. Thanks
