15th Nov 2021 (3 years ago)This used to be a decent enough place until they employed idiots during the pandemic. The Shirley one who started in 2021 is particularly rude and obnoxious. She simply will not answer emails or return calls. Nothing professional about her at all but I guess when you pay peanuts you get monkeys! ???????
2nd Nov 2024 (6 mo. ago)Now under new management with Susan Mortan, she delivers excellent service as always. Although a High Street office she’s always there 24/7, wouldn’t go anywhere else!

20th Dec 2023 (1 year ago)Absolutely pathetic service. We we lied to from the onset. Rod wouldn't get back for up to a month at a time. Carried out useless work for over inflated prices without permission. Incidentally nothing materialaliaed with anything that he said he had done. Sorry excuse of an Estate Agent and I would keep away real nightmare of a man. He would phone up every 3 to 4 months and say how much did you pay for your property originally and did this for years.

18th Jan 2024 (1 year ago)Office staff were not impressive and office hours seemed to vary a lot . Not impressed . Didn’t feel they proactively pushed our property even though the property we were buying was also marketed by them . ( double fees)

12th Sep 2023 (1 year ago)We had exceptional service from Thorntons from start to finish. Our house sold in 4 weeks and the sales team were just so professional. Communication throughout the process was excellent and once we accepted the offer on our house the legal team at Thorntons were equally exceptional. Our solicitor was always on hand to answer our questions and provide us with best advice. Thank you for taking the stress out of selling a house!

They were extremely responsive when we asked questions and happy to explain any questions we may have. We also used them for our Will and we had the same, pleasure experience. Highly recommended.

13th Aug 2023 (1 year ago)A poorly organised business. I called twice in the space of 7 days to try arrange a valuation. No one bothered to call back. Clearly too busy for my custom. Opted to use Graham Sibbald instead, call back within an hour and booked in.
16th May 2024 (1 year ago)We recently got our mortgage through Regent Estates and Mortgages. The mortgage adviser, Craig, made the process stress free and simple for us, and the process was signed and sealed in a matter of days from our offer being accepted. I would highly recommend Craig and Regents Estates and Mortgages.

20th Sep 2024 (7 mo. ago)I was impressed with Gavin and Lee from the start. I would recommend Venters to anyone. Gavin took time to research similar properties and suggested a realistic price which worked well for me. I'd had a valuation from another company (that company had not been recommended by GetAgent). Their valuation was way short of what Gavin suggested. Gavin also gave me other useful advice on selling etc as it had been a while since I'd done this.
