The estate agent who was managing my property had never viewed the property. In managing the viewings it was down to the owner to conduct the viewings or be charged for someone from Move8 to do it.

The property assessor (Peter) was very professional and gave a realistic but accurate assessment of what we might achieve from a sale. The office staff (Ann and Louise) were also very professional but friendly and also responsive to my questions. Overall I could not recommend this team highly enough, I would not hesitate to use them again and recommend to others.

Although a High Street office she’s always there 24/7, wouldn’t go anywhere else!- 20th Mar 2026 (14 weeks ago)--- ?????????? We had a great experience with Slater Hogg & Howison in Glenrothes. Scott came out to value our home and was honest, realistic, and clear in his advice, which we really appreciated. Anna Kaylin and Lindsey were also fantastic—friendly, supportive, and always ready with sound guidance throughout the process. Lindsey gave us sound advice when we hit a snag with our buyer and this advice was spot on. Their professionalism and approachability made everything feel straightforward and stress free.

17th Jun 2026 (9 days ago)Aberdein Considine were great from start to finish. They were very helpful at every step of the way and made sure I was well informed. They used a mix of Telephone and email which was perfect for a busy person like myself. Valuation was accurate and there was plenty footfall in the property to see it go under offer. Great value for money and would recommend.
6th Feb 2023 (3 years ago)If it was possible, I'd have given Abbey Forth zero stars. Here's my experience with them: The place I rented from Abbey Forth had not been cleaned when I moved in. It was in a disgusting state with several broken fixtures. I took many photos and informed them that, because I was having to clean my new flat, I wouldn't be paying for the place to be professionally cleaned when I moved out. Throughout my year at the property, they were unprofessional and unhelpful when other problems arose: trying to charge me for boiler repairs (a boiler which was leaking on day 1), failing to resolve a drainage issue outside the kitchen door and, worst of all, falling to resolve an infestation of slugs in the kitchen - an obvious health hazard. When I moved out, they unsurprisingly tried to deduct £190 from my deposit for cleaning. I successfully disputed this charge with the deposit scheme, using the pictures and emails I'd sent them over the length of the tenancy. The deposit scheme found that, as the property was not cleaned to a good condition for the start of the tenancy, that I should only having to pay £60 In summary: Abbey Forth is the worst estate agent I've ever used. Rude staff and a general ethos of trying to squeeze money out of tenants for as little effort as possible. Only sign up with them if you are desperate and have no other options. If this is the case, then please make sure you document everything for inevitable struggle to get your deposit back

9th Jun 2026 (17 days ago)We let our 1st property out with Scott and was a very smooth journey. Being new landlord's, we thought we would compare and try someone else for our 2nd property, it all went horribly wrong and was rather stressful, but thankfully we were able to return to Scott (with our tail between our legs) who has yet again found a tenant and taken all the stress away from us. Cannot recommend Scott and Home Sweet Home highly enough for lettings. They are approachable , professional and as we found out, very forgiving! They communicate all the way through the process, prompting us where necessary. Lesson learnt for us, we won’t go anywhere else now

3rd Apr 2026 (12 weeks ago)We had initial meeting with Lisa with regard to bringing property to market, but Sophie has been our main point of contact since then, handling all our enquiries and viewings. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and she was always there to answer any questions we had regarding the processes. We feel Sophie is an absolute asset to the Glenrothes branch.
