6th Apr 2024 (12 days ago)Our experience with Mov8 was easy they kept us informed with viewing and communication was prompt. The only thing was their offices are in Edinburgh and Glasgow and we are in Carnoustie which was a little inconvenient if we needed to go to their office to sign things
14th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Lack of communication and not pro-active as I had to instigate them doing anything. Pricing is terrible everything is an extra add on with vat on everything. Too expensive for lack of contact and or proactivity.

7th Jun 2023 (10 mo. ago)Amazing service from Warners - all staff were attentive and supportive from the beginning. Even with a sale fall through and having to go back on the market, they helped ease the upset of what was a really upsetting time, found me a new buyer and completed 6 weeks later. Cannot fault their service, Caitlin Meaney was my negotiator and made me feel like nothing was too much trouble and gave fantastic advice / came across very knowledgeable on the market for the area and time I was selling. Would 100% recommend Warners, and have already done so to a few also looking to sell. I met with around 4 estate agencies total and Warners were the clear choice from the start. Thanks so much for all your help! We now have sold our flat and purchased our forever family home and couldn’t have done it without your help.

Should I plan a move again in the future I have no doubts I will be contacting Remax. Special mention to Courtney and Adrian who were my main contacts throughout and both 10/10.

1st Sep 2023 (7 mo. ago)Used Thorntons for last purchase in 2008. Staff all changed but they have retained the steadfast approach to all their services. Friendly professional and extremely efficient. Glad I stayed with them.
25th Apr 2019 (4 years ago)Went in to enquire about the area as a potential place to move to and the staff were about as much use as a chocolate teapot. Every question was met with an unhelpful response. Got the feeling she didn't want us to move there or she was incompetent at her job. Won't be back any time soon!!
8th Apr 2024 (10 days ago)We were delighted to work with McDougall McQueen on the purchase of our new property, having had a great experience on a previous purchase. Most recently, our solicitor Susan Oates managed our sale and purchase transactions with great professionalism, managing to negotiate a rather complex missives agreement ahead of our planned completion date, while keeping us informed and updated at all times. The excellent service has continued after the sale was completed while we closed out a number of material issues with our property. I would be happy to recommend McDougall McQueen and consider their services to provide excellent value for money and help to take the stress out of a house move.
6th Feb 2023 (1 year ago)If it was possible, I'd have given Abbey Forth zero stars. Here's my experience with them: The place I rented from Abbey Forth had not been cleaned when I moved in. It was in a disgusting state with several broken fixtures. I took many photos and informed them that, because I was having to clean my new flat, I wouldn't be paying for the place to be professionally cleaned when I moved out. Throughout my year at the property, they were unprofessional and unhelpful when other problems arose: trying to charge me for boiler repairs (a boiler which was leaking on day 1), failing to resolve a drainage issue outside the kitchen door and, worst of all, falling to resolve an infestation of slugs in the kitchen - an obvious health hazard. When I moved out, they unsurprisingly tried to deduct £190 from my deposit for cleaning. I successfully disputed this charge with the deposit scheme, using the pictures and emails I'd sent them over the length of the tenancy. The deposit scheme found that, as the property was not cleaned to a good condition for the start of the tenancy, that I should only having to pay £60 In summary: Abbey Forth is the worst estate agent I've ever used. Rude staff and a general ethos of trying to squeeze money out of tenants for as little effort as possible. Only sign up with them if you are desperate and have no other options. If this is the case, then please make sure you document everything for inevitable struggle to get your deposit back
6th Feb 2024 (10 weeks ago)Cannot recommend Simple Approach highly enough. I used them to sell a flat and to find a tenant for my rental property. The service was exceptional, especially the rental team. I had been using another agent for rental but getting nowhere. Switching to Simple Approach was like chalk and cheese between services offered, in particular, ease of contact out of normal office hours and platforms used to advertise. After months with the other agent, the S.A team found me the perfect tenants within a couple of weeks. Delighted!

Took exactly 3 months to exchange keys from the date I asked for it to "go live". And that was with the first sale falling through (nobody's fault) as well as it being Christmas during that time period. All staff are extremely friendly and willing to help with anything. Everything was dealt with quickly, and with as little stress caused as possible. I would 100% recommend Neilsons to anyone looking to sell a property. Thank you Neilsons

24th Mar 2024 (25 days ago)What an amazing service from start to finish from both Jennifer, Andrew and Janice. For anyone who wants a simple, and efficient estate agent look no further. Our house went up on the market the week of Christmas when most estate agents close. Not Avenue Road. They made sure that everything still processed as normal and our house went up within days to ensure we were able to reserve our new home. The whole process was easy with them and made it very simple and straight forward for us. Andrew was always on hand for us regarding any viewings and interest. Jennifer was giving us regular updates and keeping us in the loop. One thing I would say which stands them out from the crowd is they are always on hand. For example we had a request at 10pm on a Saturday night for a viewing which we were delighted about. Within minutes we had it booked. You won’t get that 24/7 service anywhere else. At the very start we had a few estate agents come to negotiate with us but felt like a number with them and just another tick box. With Jennifer and Andrew we were a family looking to sell and move to our forever home and they wanted it for us. I could go on and on about how amazing they were and so grateful for them. I have recommended them to everyone I know and will continue to do so. Thank you again and always welcome for a cuppa in our new home.
