15th Feb 2022 (2 years ago)Shelley provided us with an excellent service from start to finish. We had a property that was relatively easy to sell, but slightly complicated by the fact it was going through probate. Clear communication with potential buyers ensured that there were no slip ups with a slightly longer than usual sale process. We could have appointed other agents for a lower fee, but I think the coverage and marketing from Knight Frank ensured we maximised the sale price and even after any additional agent fees we likely received the best price we could. Also good work from Giselle the sales progressor in seeing it all over the line.
3rd Feb 2022 (2 years ago)I spoke to without a doubt the rudest man when enquiring about renting one of their properties. He was very old, kept talking over me and asking extremely personal and totally unnecessary questions. He seemed to think I should be pandering to his every word just to stay in one of their rentals. This put me right off and we went with Morris Marshall & Poole instead who were so much nicer. We have heard of similar experiences with this company. Stay away from them!
14th Feb 2024 (10 weeks ago)The experience we received of trying to sell our house hasn't been good and I would not recommend this company. Their is a high turnover of staff, lots of the time the office is closed and phones are getting redirected to the head office or other branches. You tend to speak to different people all the time and there is no communication within the company. After trying to sell our property for over a year we eventually opted for another estate agent who sold our property within a week. We wish we had never gone with this estate agent it would have saved us lots of agro and feel like we wasted precious time. Unfortunately this company employs untrained staff which have to work to targets and quantity rather than quality.

Cobb Amos were commissioned to assess and value our property. 5 minutes before they were supposed to arrive, we had a message that they had cancelled, due to sickness. A second appointment was also missed. We later learned that they had done the valuation in their own office and told the company who commissioned them that they would visit the property to confirm their assessment. No way.

We dealt with Sharon and Nia and they were both brilliant, they were professional and excellent with communication and made our purchase very smooth from start to finish. Cannot fault the service they provided, would highly recommend McCartneys based on our experience buying with them.

They were accessible, professional and empathetic. We are particularly grateful to Sam Burston and Michelle Wilmot for their active roles and prompt communication. Sam did a wonderful job striking a balance between acting for the vendors and taking our needs into consideration. It is easy to see that he loves his job. Thank you very much for making our dream real!

4th Apr 2023 (1 year ago)i was very disapointed with morgan and davies no feed back and no effort beign made by them only 2 viewings in 6 monthe changed my estate agent and have had 3 viewing in 1 week plus good feed back for example they give me the name of the people who are viewing the property etc etc where as morgan and davies did not confidentiality according to them what a load of bull i would not recommend this estate agent to anyone very disapointed

28th Mar 2024 (30 days ago)Whilst the only in-person dealing that we had with MMP were on the first viewing and then completion day, the phone support has been great. The purchase took 5 months despite being very straightforward, all because of issues with my solicitors and mortgage advisors however MMP were very understanding and even helped me to chase things up. There were a few times where I felt a little overwhelmed with the chasing but it was more because I was frustrated with the lack of news that I could give as my solicitors were so tardy and loved giving vague updates when chased. Overall, the knowledge and support from MMP throughout has been great and they have helped to put me at ease.

I would highly recommend this company no matter whom you deal with they are as helpful and polite as each other. these guys would be my first point of call for the future 100%

26th Dec 2023 (18 weeks ago)Id give a lower score if I could! Stay well clear! Made an offer on a property for the full asking price after viewing. Was told there were no offers on the table at the time. The agent didn’t even acknowledge the email for 3 days until after id been chasing. Then was told 2 other offers had been made after my offer! As such, increased my offer which again wasn’t acknowledged. 3 weeks later to then be told my offer was not accepted and that the seller has gone with a local person who had more of a deposit than me? Couldn’t get any more local as I currently live within 200 metres of the house in question. Also, a higher deposit than me did not matter as they still needed a mortgage…. More excuses made by Paul saying he didn’t want to start a bidding war! A friend later rang Paul and offered £75k over the asking price and was told no more offers could be made as 3 offers were already on the table. Surely whoever offers the most gets the house??? This just proved it wasn’t a fair contest. Wouldn’t tell me how much the house went for in the end or who’d bought it. Works also started on the house a day after I was told my offer hadn’t been accepted! This was surely an inside job as you cannot buy a house and get all the legalities sorted within a day! Or maybe their offer was accepted 3 weeks before they’d told me I wasn’t accepted you may ask? Don’t sell your house through this joker! There was obviously an insensitive to choose which offer was accepted rather than who offered the most!!! The man’s guilt is written over his face as he likes to hide from myself and family members on the street! If you weren’t guilty, why would you try and hide? Stay clear folks!
