We have recently moved out of London and have dealt with our fair share of estate agents and our experience with Hamptons in Farnham outshone them all. We dealt with Diego Tavares at the branch and I would highly recommend him and Hamptons to anyone.- 7th Dec 2022 (1 year ago)We are glad that we chose Hamptons Estate Agents in Alton to sell our property, as from the off they showed that they were professional and prepared to be fully engaged in supporting us through the process. From the initial valuation from Adam, the ultimate professional, to the ongoing chasing and updating by Kathleen, we felt that they could not have done better. Kathleen, in particular, showed great tenacity in dealing with a number of issues, often overcoming the weaknesses of other parties in the chain, due in part to her skill at building relationships. She was so pleasant to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. I am happy to recommend the team at Hamptons.

Although already familiar with the purchasers, Philip never failed to serve her best interests in securing a pre-marketing sale to a cash buyer. He encouraged us to set an ambitious price and helped us to realise us in double-quick time from offer to completion of just 11 weeks. Back-office service was also superb and personal, thanks to Lizzie. Highly recommended.

5th Jul 2024 (22 days ago)My account wasn’t handled professionally. I had to chase several team members, to rectify accounting issues and contractual mistakes. To the point where I had to formally complain to be heard. Eventually decided to leave the property for and still my account still not handled correctly. Because of these mistakes I had to wait while for my deposit to be returned. Despite me sending evidence from the first week they took over my property. Overall experience was horrible and extremely stressful. From my personal experience, I would recommend you avoid at all cost if possible

26th May 2024 (9 weeks ago)I would recommend Barons to anybody in Basingstoke looking to sell. Their approach to marketing houses is clearly proven and works well. There are online estate agents that will probably achieve similar at a fraction of the price but I fear you'd sacrifice the thorough and attentive service that you get from Barons. Would definitely recommend.

28th Jun 2024 (29 days ago)Maybe it was due to the time of year, but I was disappointed to have only 3 viewings in 20 weeks. I received the the regular automatic emails, but not much communication beyond that. I didn't even get feedback on the third viewing. The people I did speak to were friendly and professional, and did get moving quickly in the beginning.
